Room 10: We were given an upgrade to bigger room. (But... see below). View from windows. Super towels. Extra blankets easily accessible. Easy parking. Dinner at cosy table close to fire. Breakfast: good fresh bread. Variety of teas. Cold milk.

Having booked a twin room, we were surprised to be given two rooms, one with big double bed, one with single. But it was definitely better than the twin we were then shown... Voices could be heard from outside tables below. Room shook a little when door below to outside was opened/closed. Breakfast: slices of cheese looked a little dry and tired at one side.

Excellent restaurant on site. Great location overlooking the sea and less than an hour from Cherbourg. Immaculately clean basic rooms with comfortable beds.

Only criticism is the coffee at breakfast. Breakfast is a decent buffet - the quality of the baguettes was excellent. However the coffee is from a self service machine and is awful.

Room was surprisingly nice and quiet and very clean. We loved our dinner but thought their buffet breakfast could have been better. A bit quicker on replacing croissants, orange juice etc. different staff on. We also wanted to tip the waiters but were not sure whether service was included in the bill until we went to check out.

Speed of replacing breakfast foods. Service included in the menus would have been good.

Hotel well placed on the sea front. The food and atmosphere at the restaurant were excellent All staff very friendly except the breakfast man Chap with the beard who took our restaurant reservation and checked us out really pleasant

The man serving breakfast was rude We went out for an early walk and went to breakfast at 9.15 a family of 4 and two other couples came in after us but the ham and cheese was not replenished at the buffet

Location is super, easy parking, friendly efficient greeting by staff. The attached restaurant focusing on seafood is an added bonus. We had booked a table earlier, just as well as the restaurant was fully booked later

The rooms are small, but overall value for money is OK. We were charged for a bottle of wine we had not had, but cash was refunded once the error had been pointed out.

Stayed here before on several occasions. Had dinner in the restaurant which was lovely. Booked room with sea view which was great, although the room was a little small. Parking is easy. Will definitely stay here again.

Furniture a little tight in the room.

A very welcoming hotel in a lovely seaside location. The very busy restaurant is exceptional with wonderful food particularly the fish and shellfish dishes. Worth a stay for this alone.

Nothing to dislike.

Traveled on the motorbike so it was important to see it through the window over the stay. Great location, nice food, very clean room, very friendly staff - owner. Had a of couple beers and a 3 course menu. Thumbs up 👍

Beer needed to be topped as i felt 500ml felt like 300ml, obviously didn't mention to waiter but i saw it straight away.

The dinner in the restaurant was perfect. Excellent food with very attentive and efficient staff.

Generally fine but room was very small, had to move around one at a time. Bathroom needed towel rails. Everything nrw, fresh and clean.
