Excellent location of hotel in Gorey, 5 minute walk to beach, close to shops, take aways and resaurants and on very near bus stop. Lovely room which was cleaned daily, water and towels replenished and car parking facilities. Very well run hotel. Great breakfasts served daily. Even a dining room where we were able to take food back to heat up, with all cutlery and crockery supplied. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the very friendly staff and management of this hotel. I would deifinitely use this hotel again. We had a lovely experience in Jersey, made all the better by our stay at the Mainson Gorey hotel.

No dislikes at all !

I needed an early start for work and was told nothing is too much trouble the ched let me.come in early and get some cereal 🥣. Really, really nice bloke. Came and spoke to me.on Saturday and Sunday when I had more time. The staff made this so pleasant, I had already booked another hotel for the week after but I am really sorry I am going. I wish I had booked this for two weeks. I will definitely return. Beautiful part of the island soooooo much better than st. helier Spacious room. 3 or 4 mins walk to Gorey beach. 10mins walk to Gorey pier. Plenty of food shops, chippy.

Nothing to dislike.

The location of the hotel is perfect.if you have a car-there is parking, if you use buses, the bus station is 2 min walk from the hotel. The staff is very helpful and nice. The hotel is beautiful, in a small neighbourhood. There is a place to eat just down the street in the old bank hotel, a minimarket and fish &chips 5 min from the hotel The room is loveley, the bed very comfortable, and the shower as PERFECT! WATER PRESSURE &TEMP. sooo good. If i could, i've taking it with me. There is a beach 5 min walk and the town is 15 min walk

The breakfast was not up to the level of the hotel

The hotel is located in a very quiet area of Gorey village. For those who want a night life, the hotel might not be best choice, however the local centre is not far from the hotel - walkable. It was very lovely to walk along the promenade from the centre of the village back to the hotel after dinner. Pleasant. There is a small grocery shop and some local restaurants near the hotel. Long beach, which is very close to the hotel, is very clean. The room is very clean and is exactly what it is shown in the website. Bed is comfortable; I slept soundly every night. Wifi is strong. Staff are exceptional. They are polite, courteous and would go an extra mile to make your stay very pleasant. Breakfast is plentiful; buffet and you can eat as much as you want.

The hotel is lovely and spotlessly clean . The staff are really friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was very nice and plenty of it. A variety of foods were available. Tea making facilities were always available in our room. I liked the location, the hotel is off the main road and very quiet. There is a nice big dining room where you can eat takeaways etc, and a comfy lounge with a tv . Also a games room . The sea is within a short walking distance of the hotel but not in view from the hotel.

Whilst we knew before we went that there is no bar or restaurant at the Hotel, there was no space at all to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful sunshine and that was a big shame. For that reason alone we would sadly not stay there again.

We have stayed here 3 times over the past few years. Unfortunately this time, it seemed to have gone downhill slightly. On arrival no real warm welcome, just a few comments about breakfast and then shown to our room. Room was adequate, although bed was quite hard, but that’s just our personal preference. Bathroom and shower ok. Poor wi-fi. We couldn’t get parked on any of the 3 nights we were there, so had to park locally. Breakfast was reasonable, but the same each day. I have to compliment the chef as he was constantly coming out and checking the hot food buffet and topping up. Also the 2 ladies waiting were very good, clearing away plates etc and topping up coffee. Good restaurants 10 minutes walk away. On departing hotel, nobody to check you out on reception.

Reception. It is always nice to get a warm and friendly welcome with information given. Also this applies to your departure too. Customer service is so important.

Lovely hotel in a quiet location with friendly and helpful staff . Rooms are nicely furnished and very clean. A great breakfast is included in room rate. There is a bar in rhe village which serves food (the hotel only does breakfast).or a 10 minute stroll along to Girey pier offers quite a few good options. Buses into St Helier are very frequent and the stops are just a couple of minutes away.. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Room was very warm to the point sleeping was difficult.. A plug in fan was provided.

Relaxed hotel with friendly polite staff always willing help. Enjoyed some evenings in the TV lounge where there's a wide screen flat TV and comfy sofas/chairs. Breakfast was good, good choice and was told I could take something on my morning of departure as left early (6am) so had some fruit for my journey. Quite peaceful village location with lovely beach walks less than 5 mins away. Bus stops 2 mins walk away. I enjoyed my stay and would go again. My room was cleaned daily and was very quite no issues with other people everyone was friendly.

Great location, a comfortable and friendly hotel, only minutes from the beach. The staff were attentive, kind and helpful we are vegetarian and every morning they cooked veggie sausages to order for the breakfast. A great family hotel with local amenities only a short walk from the front door. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean with the usual amenities such as tea. coffee and hairdryer. Would definitely stay again. We found Jersey as a whole to be very welcoming, everyone we passed on the street smiled or said hello. No litter on the beach or streets. It was very easy to get to the towns and tourist sites using the local buses, cheap fares too.

Everything was great, would appreciate a wider range of veggie or vegan breakfast options but there was plenty to eat and I appreciate that it may not be viable

The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a good selection at Breakfast. Our room was large enough and had obviously been recently refurbishd to high standard; moreover to our delight there was a mini-bar (i.e. fridge!). Also pleasing was that guests could use the (otherwise redundant) dining room to prepare/heat meals and snacks in its microwave oven with use of crockery and cutlery.

My only gripe is that if we had advance information about all the facilities on offer we could have left a lot of our luggage at home! Also an observation that some of the recent upgraded facilities were already not operational: especially the shaver socket in our ensuite bathroom and others.
