Location opposite bus stop/harbour & Castle above was fantastic. Room on the front with amazing view of Harbour. Great high ceilings & a great feel about the room. You definitely knew you was at the seaside with the pictures on the walls. The castle was very impressive, climbed to the top, amazing views & would highly recommend it. Seating area outside looks inviting & especially in the evening sunshine. Stayed 3 nights & really enjoyed my stay thank you. Didn't hav the breakfast only because i'm always up at 5am & caught the early bus to explore St Helier & also one day I had the early ferry to Guernsey to catch. Great value for money stay at this hotel thank you

Just the draws by side of the bed need moving so that I could open them & also use the electric sockets hiding behind them. Wasn't a major issue the room was great value for money thank you

We liked the exccellent location on the harbour front and the bedroom had a sea view. The restaurant/breakfast room was very comfortable with views out to the harbour. The breakfast was excellent as were the meals we had at the restaurant.

Some redecoration is necessary in the bedroom (windows & blinds in particular) but otherwise it was very comfortable. There is no central heating but free standing electrical radiators are provided. The hotel was 'closed' on the Tuesday which meant no breakfast was available on that day ( I am sure I was not informed of this at the point of booking). We were offered a packed lunch instead which worked well as we were on a walking break but the packed lunch did not match the standard of the other catering at the hotel.

The breakfast was amazing. If you love a full English, you will be more than satisfied. I also tried the vegetarian option one morning which was not bad either. The hotel is in a great location, near shops, across the road from the bus stop and nice sights in walking distance. The staff is friendly, it is quiet at night and has a great view from the window.

My room was clean when I arrived. However I spent 3 nights there. It would have been nice, if at some point the rubbish bin, was emptied and perhaps my room vacuumed etc. I'm still scoring it a 10 though, as I thought it was good value for money and enjoyed my stay.

Comfy beds, lovely staff, friendly and a warm welcome albeit rather short but it was nice to not be given a lecture on the terms and conditions of our stay. No nonsense food, amazing Bacon and Sausage Roll. Can't fault that in anyway. Especially with Gas being off on the island all weekend. Amazing service by Jorge (Happened to meet his Cousin on the Tintavy Bus Tour). Just a beautiful place to wake up. Highly recommend walking down to the end of the little pier and hang a left where there's signs to Mount Orgeil Castle. Head there at Sunrise and the sun creeps over the horizon and it's simply awe inspiring.

This might be just me but it would have been nice to have two chairs as the bed is rather far from the TV. Other than that, not much else I didn't like, although the bathroom was freezing due to an open window but as it was 23°C, this was rather a relief.

Very good location near bus stop -no 1 bus to St Helier which took 25 minutes-and sea opposite. 10 minutes walk to village with few shops including fish and chips takeaway and a small convenience store. Staff very friendly and breakfast included which was convenient as didn’t have to start looking somewhere else to eat. Unfortunately weather was very bad so couldn’t go on beach or go on very long walks near the property but Gorey is at the end of the island so very quiet and quaint with just enough cafes and restaurants to find somewhere to eat in evening.

Mattress was lumpy-needs to be changed. Would have liked more healthy options for breakfast.

A spacious and clean room with a view of Gorey Harbour, friendly co-operative staff and a pleasant dining area with great menu. Breakfast was good. Very close to Mont Orgeuil, a must-see site.

It would be good to add muesli to the breakfast menu. Otherwise, no negatives relating to the hotel. Gorey is a lovely seaside spot but be prepared for a minimum 20-minute bus into St Helier and possibly a taxi to the seaport/airport.

Location was perfect, next to the bus stop. The setting around the harbour was great. The staff were excellent and food in the hotel was very good, both breakfast and dinner, good selection at both. The bedroom was small clean and functional, everything we required was available. Couldn’t do enough to help us.

The only thing they couldn’t guarantee was the weather.

Excellent location. Pretty harbour. Outside dining with overhead canopy available.Room very nice including nice bathroom. Friendly helpful staff. Pleasant buzzy atmosphere all round the harbour. Excellent evening meal at in house restaurant. Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended.

No allocated parking as such but there are always spaces nearby in marked bays within 50 metres. Hotel provided a pass so parking free. Not a problem at all really.

Our room was modern and clean. Cleaning staff were very friendly & helpful, helping to sort extra pillows and keeping our room spotless every day. Plentiful supplies of tea/coffee in the room. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Gave us a parking permit when we checked in.

Room 4 was cosy, but would have liked a little more space between bed and wall. That said, we booked fairly late, so I think the larger rooms were all taken. Breakfast was nice, but it'd be even better if they introduced an alternative, like cereals, yoghurt, pastries if possible.

Breakfast was plentiful and the dining room was friendly and lively. The staff were friendly and efficient.

The room we were in was quite old and had steps leading down from the bathroom. This was a problem for one of my party who hasa leg affected by arthritus. A simple hand rail would have helped a lot. Then as you go down the steps there was a low ceiling which i banged my head on more than once. A sign warning guests to take care would have helped.
