Pretty clean. Location was fine. Mitte is the historic centre however the hotel is located on the outskirts of that district. Public transportation was really good. Possibility to rent the bikes. Friendly staff with good English. Breakfast. Restaurant. Coffee selection in the room. Smart TV with AirDrop. Quiet rooms!

Our accommodation was on the floor under the fitness/spa area. The smell of the disinfectants, chlorine, etc. was overpowering in the lift area. Bit far from the centre by foot. Price of the breakfast (42€ per person). Bit old fashioned. Marbles in the bathroom, carpets on the floor. One comfortable chair in the room.

We had the most amazing time at this hotel with my 10-year-old son for 3 days – it was like a dream come true. From the moment we stepped inside, the staff treated us like family, and that warm welcome set the tone for the entire trip. Our room was like our little sanctuary – spacious, super clean, and filled with everything we needed to feel right at home. I loved how they paid attention to even the tiniest details, making sure everything was just perfect. After a day of adventures, coming back to the room felt like wrapping ourselves in a cozy cocoon. Oh, let's talk about breakfast! Mornings were pure delight with the buffet they laid out for us. Seriously, it was like a feast fit for kings, with options that could satisfy every craving we had. But the real highlight? Oh, it has to be that rooftop swimming pool with the hot tub, and the outdoor terrace! Can we just say, "Wow!"? Perched up there, the pool felt like it touched the sky. The views of the city were absolutely breathtaking, and the serenity up there was out of this world. I couldn't decide if I liked lounging by the pool, soaking in the hot tub, or just soaking up the sun on the terrace more – they were all pure bliss. On that inviting terrace, you can sip on drinks, get lost in a good book, or simply relax and let time slip away. Honestly, that rooftop experience lifted our whole stay to a whole new level. It felt like we found a secret spot where time stood still and worries melted away. I can't even describe how special it was to share those moments with my son, feeling like we were on top of the world, both literally and figuratively. Long story short, this hotel turned our getaway into an unforgettable adventure. The warm staff, cozy room, and that incredible rooftop setup combined to create memories that we'll treasure forever.

The hotel was centrally located to major sites, and about a 5-7 minute walk to the station and subways. It’s not a huge going out area but there were enough restaurants and cafes in the area to make it comfortable. Everything was clean. Check in and check out was very simple. I looked at the gym and pool but didn’t get a chance to use it. For a work trip it was great, but if I were going for a fun leisure trip I’m not sure I’d stay in that area.

To buy breakfast buffet was a whopping 42 euro. I didn’t use the sauna but the fact that you need to be nude can be a turn off for people. When I checked out around 7 am, there was a line for people to get into breakfast. A huge one. This hotel seems to be a spot for cruise lines to have their groups stay. It didn’t impact my stay at all but I can’t imagine that it may be a problem for some, depending when you arrive/leave/ and want your breakfast.

The room was excellent, comfortable and room service was quick.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating, and went out of their way to meet our requests. We booked two rooms with a connecting door, which was perfect for our family. Even our pet had its own set of amenities, including a bed, water bowl, and dining bowl (although this did cost an additional 35 euros per night). Our baby was also provided with a lovely set of accommodations, and this was offered to us free of charge. It was possible to check in early after giving them a call, which was very convenient. The swimming pool and sauna were both fantastic facilities. Lastly, the hotel's location was superb.

In my opinion, it would be great to see more international options included in breakfast, such as sushi. Additionally, it would be even better if the menu varied from day to day, as having the same breakfast for three days in a row can become tiresome. However, I must say that the tea is really good. On a different note, I found the wheelchair to be quite challenging to use.

The room had all the facilities, cleaning service was excellent. Located in the city centre, various locations to be visited within walking distance (historic, entertainment, shopping, food). Continental breakfast, covering most of potential requirements.

Probably due to the good value for money and central location the breakfast area was pretty crowded each morning. Sometimes people were cueing in order to be seated. Slight impression that sometimes the personnel was not able to cover all the requests in due time.

The Location is perfect. Hotel atmosphere, welcoming. Staff extremely friendly, Helpful. I am a regular traveller, staying hotels frequently, experienced all high end, including want to be high end, absolute no idea! I must compliments, experienced team Grand Hyatt Berlin for almost perfection- 99.9%!👍👌All staff are competent in there professions.Nothing was of any trouble. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the property. Myself and business partner , spent 1 day and en evening. Business meeting. Totally enjoyable. The food main restaurant, simply perfect! The bar after,, Leon the bar, great personality with so much knowledge. Both Steffen, I and Leon enjoyed a good whisky together. Thank you Leon. Breakfast was 100% perfect. No budget cheap food, simply quality. Service Perfect. Clean 100%!!!

Great welcome and service; we booked with EV charging service and the valet went above and beyond. Breakfast is not a huge selection, but available food and drink were all of excellent quality. Excellent quality and choice of drinks at the bar. The pool and sauna area were tidy, clean and well-maintained. We really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel rooms were a bit on the warm side: more than 24 degrees (C). It was not possible to cool the room effectively, apart from opening a window, but that obviously only brought a short relief. Minor detail: we initially missed a bathrobe and slippers set to use for e.g. the pool / sauna facilities. After notifying the reception / housekeeping, they still forgot to send some over. Not a big deal; we approached someone from housekeeping and got a set.

Really couldn’t ask for more. Well, perhaps someone could have mentioned that there is a switch by the door that you have to press - otherwise some of the electrical sockets won’t work. It took us 3 days to realise this!

The Grand Hyatt Berlin is an outstanding hotel. The facilities are spacious and very clean. Perhaps above everything else is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. It must be difficult to choose the "Employee of the Month" as they all are so devoted to serve the customers well. Both the restaurant(s) and the bar are quite nice. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, clean and nice looking.

A little more storage space would have been welcome. It is a bit limited and located within the bathroom.
