We received a warm welcome from reception staff upon arrival and were surprised at how spacious and gorgeous our suite was. They kindly upgraded our room because we missed our first night in Berlin due to travel problems with Lufthansa cancelling our flight from Frankfurt. The bed was very comfortable with a firm mattress. The kitchen was perfect, equipped with just what we needed to make our own breakfast. They loaned us umbrellas as needed, printed out museum passes for us, and provided recommendations for restaurants. Maximillian's, the authentic German restaurant just next door was very good!

The breakfast at the Mandala suites was beautifully presented but the only warm food offered was hard boiled eggs, everything else was cold.

Great location, very clean and comfortable

After checking out the receptionist asked how we were getting back to the airport. We said by tram/train, he said good plan. Getting off at the main train station from the U Bahn we realized there was a bus service part way to the airport with lots of disruption. We had to quickly abandon plans and get a taxi to the airport to get there on time. I feel this is something the reception should keep an eye on as it's an hour by train or taxi to get to the airport.

The location of Mandala Suites is super great!. For most all attractions we did not need a metro at all. A metro is just one minute from Mandala Suites - U2 direct 7 stops to reach the Kudam - Ka De We. Museums Island, Check Point Charlie, Wall, Branderburg Gate, Alexandr Platz - all these attractions and others we did by foot. 15 minutes walking to the wonderful restaurant Berta with a famouse Chef Assaf Granit. There are at least 6 very good restaurantsnearby the Mandala Suites, and amazing Bar - Bell Boy (maximum 5 minutes walk). Shopping is 2-3 minutes walking to Gallery Lafayett, and the most exclusive Chololate shop - Rausch (do not miss it). We did not take a breakfast in the Mandala Suites, since one minute walking there are 3-4 very nice Caffee. There is also a restaurant in the Mandala Suites. Regarding the suite itself, it was very spacious, comfortable bed, a balcony with table and chairs, a wadrobe, and a full equipped kitchen,. The suite was very clean, and was cleaned, every day, the towels were changed daily as well. In the bathroom there was a nicely smelled washing gel (fresh lemon) and cream. The personnel at registry was very welcome, friendlly, answered all our questions, even suggested to order the taxi - indeed amazing experience.

I cannot point something specific we did not like. Perhaps, a price is a little bit high. The breakfast is 25 EU for person.

My mum and I stayed at the Mandala Suites for Christmas and had a fantastic time. The kitchen, despite not having an oven, worked well for prepping a Christmas lunch on the two hotplates and using the fridge and microwave. The apartment itself was spacious, the bed extremely comfortable, and the separate luggage room highly appreciated. It's also in a great location near Checkpoint Charlie and some key metro stations. My favourite part was probably the sauna and daybeds upstairs with the view over Berlin - I spent a few afternoons relaxing up there and also used the gym!

Very expensive at nearly AUD$400 per night. We knew this when making the booking, as the point was for a bit of space and luxury over Christmas - but we did feel the hotel had a bit more of a corporate/business feel than a luxury/holiday one I'd have expected for that price. Also, there was no dining table, so we needed to use the writer's desk to eat. Finally, we found it was quite hot in the rooms even when we turned the individual heaters off, and would have appreciated a bit more climate control.

The hotel is situated in a multifunction building and have an underground parking. The apartment we stayed was more than spacious and with all the necessary amenities. There are plenty of food stores in walking distance, and a restaurant in the building. The hotel is greatly situated just two underground stations to the museums isle (there is a U-bahn station just in front of the building)

Only some little details: The kitchen had no curtain or privacy device, so at night I was visible from other apartments. No small kettle to boil eggs. Coffee machine old.

This place is perfect for your stay in Berlin. Just steps away from the Stadtmitte station and all the major sights are within a 15-30 minute walk away. We booked a suite and it was very comfortable and spacious. The location is quiet and restful. We had dinner at Maximilians and it was lovely. All together we were very happy with our stay. Atti at the front desk was very helpful. There is a self-service laundromat in the building although we didn't need to use it. There are plenty of coffee places nearby as well as some good restaurants.

The shower was above a tub, so we had to climb into the tub and stand for the shower. There were no grab bars in case we slipped. This may not be a factor for many people but for us it was.

The design of the rooms, it was very warm and inviting and it included a kitchen with amneties. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

The cleanliness was great initially but I had asked for my room to be cleaned and upon return it hadn't been. On second request the cleaning staff cleaned the room but it was not done well and there were still tissues in the bathroom. I had requested late checkout which I was kindly given by front desk staff but cleaning staff cleaned out my room and removed all my belongings before my agreed check out time.

We were upgraded to a huge self-contained apartment suite with really beautiful decor and very comfortable appointments. The location is absolutely central to shopping and restaurants. Staff were exceptional - attentive, friendly, helpful, with excellent pre-visit communication. We would definitely stay here again, especially if coming for a longer visit.

Even though this is classed as a hotel, it's actually apartment suites that are housed inside a large retail building, so while the apartments are stunning inside, the building itself has no ambience and is quite functional - you are either looking into the interior of the building or outside at other apartments. There is no 24hr reception (check-in closes at 8pm) but they do have good arrangements to cater for this, and a 24 hour security guard on call for any needs.

Very spacious room. Comfortable for a family. There is a removable partition wall between the sections which makes it possible for the kid to sleep and for the parents to relax. Blackout curtains, small kitchen with everything needed (incl. microwave oven). A bed for the kid was prepared separately and was very comfortable. The same as the bed for the parents. The room was very clean and cleaned up daily. The personnel was very friendly and nice. Despite the very central location the room is quite quiet. Brandenburg Gates are just 20 mins walking. Metro - right accross the road. We are really satisfied with the visit!

staff were simple amazing. super friendly and very efficient and professional. made the arrival warm and welcoming and very attentive. the hotel was lovely and quiet. breakfast room had amazing views. spotless room. great location. wonderful stay.

I only booked this hotel for the gym and sauna. the gym photos are a bit misleading - it’s tiny. no mats for stretching or workouts. no water. no place to put things. just lots of cardio machines packed in the space of a small hotel room. they could make more use of the room next door which just had lounges in it and was empty all morning. I asked three time for the sauna to be put on and they forgot each time. given it was the reason I booked it in the first place this was pretty disappointing.
