This hotel is very centrally in the beautiful old town, with a very welcoming and friendly team. Quiet with a good restaurant and excellent breakfast. Unfortunately one of our group of two couples had a heart issue which the hotel quickly assisted us with, organising a taxi immediately to the nearest hospital that arrived in two minutes. In the event one couple had to return to England for medical help. As we were touring by bicycle, and four days away from our car in France, we then had luggage and two cycles to deal with. The hotel kindly offered to store both securely in their cycle cellar for ten days whilst we continued our circular tour back to our car and then collect on our return journey back to England. They removed all the stress from a difficult situation and I can't thank them enough for their help.

Loved that we were close to the water. The room was so lovely and comfortable. We lived in Heidbelberg for nearly 10 years and we never stayed downtown. It was so nice and the parking was very close by.

While it is mentioned in the advertisement that is may be loud with traffic, etc...it was MORE than loud. There was so much loud noise coming from the street from early in the morning. MANY trash trucks and some kind of construction. We were also there during a VERY hot week. We had 1 fan and could have used a second one. We had to keep the windows open at night for there to be any air which then contributed to the noise. Our balcony was so cute and COVERED in spider webs and pretty large spiders. I'm a fan of outdoor spiders but this was a LOT. Maybe a couple in the corners are ok but these were under the table and legs of chairs and between the railings. We weren't able to enjoy the balcony like we wanted to.

Ist is located super close to the historic center The room was actually nice, juiniorsuite 1, 2nd floor, It had an additional living space upstairs (yes a steep stair inside the room) which could be enjoyed if you stay for some days And we do of course appreciate that we were able to have our dog with us. Reception desk guy was kind, even when I was stressed and impatient after a long car ride 👍

Be aware that staying in the city center, the noise in the street never stops Once partying tourist and students have found their way home, taxis and some local cars will continue to rumble over the cobblestone paved streets, and delivery trucks will start coming in in the early morning Sleeping with an open window was virtually impossible The breakfast is not worth its price

Alex, the host, was wonderful. I was a bit flustered when we got there and unsure of where to unload the luggage. He helped bring it to the room and made check-in very simple and stress free. Was the same when we left... there was a spare room where we could keep our luggage while we explored the city and castle the day we left. I would definitely come back. Well worth the feeling of security. The city was at our footsteps! Also loved that they had a close-up mirror for applying makeup!

The location is the best in town in my opinion, just opposite the famous bridge of Heidelberg!!! Of course it is a pedestrian area and as such has its difficulties to reach it. But it's ok. Our room was a suite and it was excellent!

Our friends who paid for the same category of room didn't have a suite like us and no airconditioning (only the suites have airconditioning) and that has been a big problem because of the heat of those days we were there and also unfair for them. The receptionist of the day of our arriving was not so pleasant about this subject and he only told our friends that it is written in booking com that the rooms don't have A/R and he didn't even try to explain anything about the difference between our rooms we paid exactly the same.

Very good location! The hotel is nicely decorated, we loved our room. And there is a restaurant with German dishes on the ground floor where we had a nice dinner.

The weather was very hot during our stay. There is no airconditioning, so we had to keep the windows open. The hotel is in the middle of town, which was quite noisy. Parking is on a 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel in a parking garage. The hotel offers a discount rate for parking.

This hotel is in a perfect location, right beside the Old Bridge over the Neckar river, very picturesque, lots of ambiance with good bars and restaurants all around. Sebastian, our host, was very charming and helpful and gave us a good deal for our room plus breakfast. He also ordered a taxi for us to return to train station when we were leaving.

Just a small thing, but we would've been happier to have a mat in the shower for safety reasons. However, this hotel was not alone in not supplying a mat. We found this to be the case wherever we stayed. Particularly important for anyone who may have mobility issues.

The gentleman at reception was extremely helpful after I checked out - providing me with great assistance in an administrative matter unrelated to my stay at the hotel, when he was clearly busy and could have said "Sorry I'm too busy". The service alone was worth another visit, but the actual hotel was very well located and comfortable, with a nice bed and large bathroom. I liked the decor very much!

The shower design was one leading to a lot of water ending up on the floor outside the bathtub... Poorly thought out. The shower pressure was great, though!

The location is fantastic - right in the heart of Altstadt Heidelberg. The place is a little oasis in the midst of the busy scene near the Old Bridge (Altabrücke). The room was large and comfortable with a little seating area. The breakfast was phenomenal and the outdoor space for eating is very peaceful. We also enjoyed one dinner in the hotel restaurant. It was superb.

Loading and unloading your car before parking is a little difficult. You basically have to stop in the middle of the cobblestone street in a busy area. The hotel staff did help us with this. Parking is a few blocks away and cost extra.

Perfect location by the river and the motorcycle parking with the old town close-by. The hotel was nicely furnished and the courtyard where breakfast was served was lovely. The young lady on the reception was very friendly and welcoming. A lovely town to visit.

For our motorcycle, parking was very close-by. Not sure where you'd park if travelling by car. Nothing to not like.
