I went to Heidelberg for a work meeting in the old town, the hotel could not be in a better location, right in the city centre but also in a small narrow street. My room was quiet, clean, comfortable and the wifi worked well, I do not need more for a work trip but would also be good for a touristic visit to Heidelberg. Compared to other hotels of similar prices I've been to in Heidelberg in other occasions I think this was better. I did not have breakfast so I cannot say anything about it.

Hotel is at the very center of the altstadt, near to the bus stop, river, altebrücke, churches and funicular to the schloss etc. The staff is very very nice, very very kind and exeptionally helpful. The room itself is warm and comfortably big.

There is no resting place other than the room itself because it is an exisiting building renovated as a hotel. Ground floor is just for the restaurant/breakfast room and kitchen. Therefore It would be better to have a tea/coffee machine and one more armchair in the room. The room was really big but the cabinet was bearly enough for 2 guests.

Check in and out were easy. The staff was very friendly and dealt with any issues professionally and with a nice sense of humor. Our experience was very pleasant. The rooms were renovated and featured nice new bathrooms. The location of the hotel is excellent; right in the oldtown.

It did not bother us, but the staircases and hallways are rather small and may be an issue for elderly people. It is an old building... We did have some issues with a room neighbor claiming we were too noisy. Even though I believe we were not noisy, possibly the rooms are not very soundproof (we did not notice).

The room was nice, clean. The furniture was a bit classic, but the bathroom was fully renovated and modern

The corridors are a bit aged, and I was in a room that required a convoluted path and going up two floors in a creaking wooden spiral staircase. It wasn't that bad for me, but it was certainly non-conventional. The TV didn't work well, most channel presets didn't have any signal, but then again I wasn't there to watch TV.

Beautiful boutique hotel in the Old city and near the restaurants and bars. Near the river for a river cruise and also a few minutes walk to the castle. The main street is very long and I'm glad to have stayed here instead of the train station that's about 30 minutes walk. There was a fridge in the room and a supermarket 3 minutes walk so very handy for a carton of milk and a sandwich. Comfortable room and nice bathroom

On the first night it was an early night for me because of the travelling. There was a big party downstairs and I thought I would be awake until the middle of the night but the restaurant closes at 22.00 and thus had a great night sleep

A delightful little hotel tucked away in the backstreets of Heidelberg. Late evening check in was a breeze and the hotel felt empty despite being fully-booked. Our room was clean, spacious, and very charming (wooden floors, exposed beams).

My only criticism was the lack of complimentary coffee/tea for guests. I know this sounds like a trivial criticism... but for these prices, one must be allowed some modest expectations. Access to the coffee machine was restricted to guests who had paid for breakfast.

For me, there were many great things about the stay (listed below), but the best part was the customer service. I I initially planned my trip to Heidelberg in the late fall, but due to personal reasons I moved it to the winter, with the hopes of visiting the Christmas market. Sadly the market was canceled, but I still opted to head to Heidelberg and both Phoenicia and Janina made sure to make my stay as comfortable as possible and ensure I was well looked after, even before I arrived. Given the changing circumstances of covid, the rules about visiting changed pretty frequently. Not only were they stellar is responding back quickly and kindly to my multitude of questions with useful input, they also proactively messaged me whenever there was a new update regarding the rules to ensure I was fully prepared for my arrival. Cannot thank them both enough for their support and the only sad part of my trip was that I only had an opportunity to meet one of them! I feel I need to go back to meet the other in 2022. 😊 Outside of the great customer service, I found the room (single) to be very cozy, with a nice, modern bathroom. In particular, the shower head was great and highlight for me. 😊 The bed is also very comfortable and appreciated the TV in the room. Location wise, it was absolutely perfect. It's near some of the best highlights of the city, but also just off a side street so it's quiet in the area. Without question, I'll be visiting Heidelberg again and staying at the hotel!

A coffee machine would have been nice in the room, but otherwise it a perfect stay.

The Weisser Bock was phenomenal! Extremely clean, room was larger than most and beds very comfortable! Phoenicia was so nice and so helpful with any requests my daughter or I had.....fantastic! Also, it is quiet at night despite being in the heart of Old Town. There are no shops below or across the street from the hotel but plenty of shops within a 30 second walk!

I have no negatives!

Helpful staff members and the other guests were quiet and respectful. The location was great. I was close to the famous bridge and all of the Christmas markets. I will return to this hotel if I ever come back to Heidelberg. I was alone and my room had a view of other buildings which I liked.

I was there on a Saturday night and one or two noisy drunken people in the street was expected.

Fantastic location for the city but specifically for our propose being the Heidelberg half marathon. Staff were super friendly. Comfy bed, Shower was great. I liked the old-school antique furniture.

Coffee station would of been nice. Didn't do breakfast, but 20euro for a German breakfast seemed alot. Extra pillow would of been nice..
