I loved the fact that I could look out my room window and see Dublin Bay, and a chance to walk along the beach. The view from the hotel was stunning. The room was comfortable and the staff were very friendly. I would go there again if I return.

The first night I was at the hotel for dinner, I felt like I was being ignored by my waiter. I had to ask him to take my order, good came fairly promptly. Then I waited for almost 20 minutes after I ate, before he came to see if I needed anything else. I could see him at the counter and another waiter told him to tend to my needs. I ordered tea. Then I waited a long time for a bill so I ended up going to the counter to pay. Others were in the restaurant and they followed me to the counter to pay for their meal. I never saw that waiter after that. That would be my only complaint. I meant to say something at the hotel at the time but I didn't.

Friendly at reception I’m sorry I’ve forgotten the Lady’s name A Walk to Beach Through A Garden and Gate so Close we enjoyed Breakfast was yummy, and service was very good & quick with our Tea, Coffee & Home Made Brown Bread, Food was always topped up not waiting at Self Service Good size Car Park to

The Lift was abit Sqeaky so could hear that in our room early morning but it actually wasn’t Loud so I’m sure that’ll get oiled.. Thought the Italian Restaurant was open but only used for Breakfast so Disappointed couldn’t eat there, but ate in the Bar/Restaurant it’s was Good & Nice, it is an Older Traditional Hotel but I didn’t let other Reviews I’d read out us off.

The room was luxurious: pretty big with an enormous bed, large TV, a desk and armchairs, the shower room was big too, plenty of space to stock luggage. We were lucky to have sea view from the window which was beautiful. One may enjoy a walk on the beach outside the hotel. We didn't have a chance to enjoy the swimming pool though. 7 minutes walk to the train station that brings in 20 minutes to Dublin city center - good location. 15 minutes drive to the airport.

The breakfast kitchen is low cost, I advise to eat outside the hotel. If you have to eat there, choose simple muesli and yogurt, and try to avoid the cooking and pastries.

Fantastic location, close to public transport for access to Dublin City and airport . A short drive to a fishing village Howth Pier and Howth Head for hikes and trails . Close to the famous sea front for cycling, walking and running . Direct access to a beach . Literally Across the street is a bank , a large grocery store with amazing food choices , a coffee shop and a Thai take away . There is a well known hairdresser and international coffee franchise spot with a pharmacy inside the open air shopping area. It is quiet and has parking , hotel is set back and has a pool with private grounds and beach access . The views of the bay and surrounding landscape is stunning . Fresh sea air and the sound of native Curlew great for bird watchers . The hotel restaurant has amazing fish and chips and the bar is spacious with comfy sofas . The sea view room is huge and modern with huge modern bathroom and excellent shower . Bed is comfortable .

This hotel is in a great central location, close to Howth village which is nice to explore & close to the bus and dart station. It is also facing onto the beach and within walking distance of Burrow beach. The rooms were very clean and comfortable &beautiful decor in the lounge and bar. There is a good breakfast, lunch&dinner menu. There is a good swimming pool/sauna &steam room at the back.

To get to the pool you need to follow a path at the back to get to the next building. There is a gate at the back of hotel that leads out onto the beach but it didn't open very wide due to sand so it was a very tight squeeze it would have been much better if it opened wider The hotel room was very warm &the bed was quite firm.

Beautiful, cosy, comfortable hotel. Easy and quick check-in and check-out took 10 seconds! Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was cleaned daily, with change of towels. Nice to have the tea/coffee facilities in the room. We wanted to use the pool and sauna, sadly did not have time. Location is ideal for North County Dublin and very near to train station (5 minute walk) to go to city centre. I would definitely stay here again.

Beds - mattresses were lumpy and noisy - could do with being replaced!

Good breakfast and lovely seaview room.

Our room was not available on check-in at 3pm despite having arrived at 2pm. On the next day our room was not serviced at all! On the following day we returned at 3.30pm to find our room was yet to be serviced despite reception knowing about the previous problems. We spoke to the duty manager who apologised sincerely and promised to look into these problems. There was insufficient time to get full feedback but he did identify communication lapses between reception and housekeeping. He offered us a 60 euro rebate (the cost of our breakfasts) in compensation which we accepted although our main concern was the apparent systemic problems in some of the hotel operations. These incidents affected our stay which was a great shame as our room and the hotel location were perfect.

Very pleasant, spacious, comfortable, modern, clean room with a sea view. Bar food was really enjoyable. Staff could not be better - professional, always attentive and very friendly. Use of leisure facilities was a real bonus.

Background music was mind numbingly awful. Thankfully a member of staff, Laura, took note of our comments plus those of other guests and we enjoyed very much improved music during our last day. The car park exits directly into the middle of a busy junction - very tricky to negotiate.

Every member of staff we had contact with was pleasant and very helpful The standard of food was excellent and enjoyed by relatives who joined us for a meal Having a pool on site was great but getting to it through the garden in the rain at 7.30am was not

The heat in our superior room on the first night was excessive in spite of turning off the radiator and opening the window The temperature of the water in the ladies shower room by the pool is dangerous as it cannot be adjusted.I got roasted the first morning so did not use that facility again. Not safe for children or anyone with mobility issues

The location was phenominal, especially being able to walk to the beautiful beach for a peaceful time on a bench. Getting to the Howth pier was easy by bus stop right outside. Groceries across the street. Train walking distance or bus to Dublin city. The breakfast included and amazing also! The day we arrived we were treated so kindly and they got in a room quickly although arrived so very early. We were so grateful.

The man at the bar was not friendly or helpful. 6/10/23. At the same time taking good care of one other man at the bar.
