The hotel is also a restaurant and bar on the ground and first floor. It is next door to a carpark (parking lot), and centrally located in the happening part of town. Restaurants, bars, gift shops, ice cream shops, and used and new bookstores all footsteps away. The room was beyond what we expected. The shower and bathroom was beautiful. We were fortunate to have the top floor and street view which was great. There is no elevator (FYI). The room keys are old school keys which was super neat. LIve music at night Also. right along the ring of Kerry , we passed by it on our drive around and ended back at it.

Very nice location in the very center, city parking a few minutes from the hotel. The facility is in an old style, the room is quite large, windows from the inside so it is quiet, apart from the noise of the devices probably from the restaurant kitchen. The furniture is quite old and worn, but despite this the interior is atmospheric, the air conditioning in the room is old and dirty. Very nice service and very tasty breakfasts in a charming restaurant. Live music in the evening. No elevator. There are a lot of restaurants and bars around.

We were attending a wedding and weren’t prepared to pay the price for a single night in any of the other hotels in Killarney as you would get a weekend in Spain for the same price but then I spotted the Failte. Literally €100 cheaper than any of the other hotels for the night. Great location, staff were lovely on arrival, room was fantastic really modern and clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower was to die for!

Personally nothing. For some people the stairs up to the rooms might be an issue if your elderly or have mobility issues but I didn’t dislike anything.

Location was great, right in town so we could walk to shops, pubs, restaurants. Also close enough that we drove the Ring of Kerry one day and Dingle Peninsula another. (We are early starters and didn't mind the hour drive to Dingle to begin the Slea Head loop.) Staff was friendly, live music at the pub, room was clean, and we had a comfy place to lay our heads each night after a day of exploring, and coffee in the room while we got ready for the day.

Me and my three best friends stayed at the Failte and we loved it. The hotel had such a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were so helpful and kind. The views from the room and the location in town were perfect. We walked through the national park to see Ross Castle, and had dinner and listened to live music at O’Donoghue. We also used the Hop-On Hop-Off bus tour to visit the Muckross house. It was an amazing stay in Killarney, we definitely recommend it.

We had a hard time connecting to the WiFi on the third floor.

Hotel was situated right on the town street where there was plenty of action and opportunity to experience the local culture. It was very conveniently located for whatever your interests. There was an on-site restaurant which was quite nice. The staff were helpful and always a friendly smile. Bernie was a sweetheart and went out of her way to help us with our car rental situation...she helped us more than she knows!

I can't say there was much to dislike!

The location is very convenient and walkable for Killarney. Our room looked recently remodeled, and it was really cute and comfortable! There are three stories with no elevator, but we knew that going into it. The staff was really nice!

The parking lot that's available is a city lot, and it's a short walk to the hotel. It was pretty convenient, but it is first come first served. We were in Killarney on a weekend, and there weren't any spots when we first got there! I recommend getting into town a little earlier to beat the dinner/pub rush, if you want a spot.

The bedroom and bathroom have been renovated really nicely. Our room was spotless. Good shower pressure. Conformable bed. I liked that we were facing the road and could see all the action below, plus could open the window for fresh air.

The walls are paper thin which might disturb a light sleeper. The building and areas outside the room itself are dated which made me question the price of stay, but as mentioned earlier, the bed/bathroom are done up really nicely.

Location was excellent. People were extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was updated and clean. Pub downstairs had good food and live music.

Our room faced the street so you could hear music from the pubs below in the evening which I enjoyed but my parents were staying down the hall and there was a bit of noise from the back with bottles being tossed and people talking but not too late and not too bothersome considering how centrally located we were.
