Rooms excellent, very recently renovated. I was on the top floor! Three flights of stairs, a bit much

Breakfast was excellent! I decided to have dinner there one evening

We were attending a wedding and weren’t prepared to pay the price for a single night in any of the other hotels in Killarney as you would get a weekend in Spain for the same price but then I spotted the Failte. Literally €100 cheaper than any of the other hotels for the night. Great location, staff were lovely on arrival, room was fantastic really modern and clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower was to die for!

Personally nothing. For some people the stairs up to the rooms might be an issue if your elderly or have mobility issues but I didn’t dislike anything.

Me and my three best friends stayed at the Failte and we loved it. The hotel had such a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were so helpful and kind. The views from the room and the location in town were perfect. We walked through the national park to see Ross Castle, and had dinner and listened to live music at O’Donoghue. We also used the Hop-On Hop-Off bus tour to visit the Muckross house. It was an amazing stay in Killarney, we definitely recommend it.

We had a hard time connecting to the WiFi on the third floor.

The location is very convenient and walkable for Killarney. Our room looked recently remodeled, and it was really cute and comfortable! There are three stories with no elevator, but we knew that going into it. The staff was really nice!

The parking lot that's available is a city lot, and it's a short walk to the hotel. It was pretty convenient, but it is first come first served. We were in Killarney on a weekend, and there weren't any spots when we first got there! I recommend getting into town a little earlier to beat the dinner/pub rush, if you want a spot.

The central downtown location and property amenities such as breakfast for a fee and accessibility to the pub downstairs for live evening entertainment were wonderful bonuses. The staff were very attentive and friendly which contributed to the overall enjoyment of our stay.

The room's antique key door locking system left one of our party who stayed behind for a nap inadvertently locked inside and unable to leave the room once he had awoke as the rest of our party had departed with the room keys to look around the town.

The bedroom and bathroom have been renovated really nicely. Our room was spotless. Good shower pressure. Conformable bed. I liked that we were facing the road and could see all the action below, plus could open the window for fresh air.

The walls are paper thin which might disturb a light sleeper. The building and areas outside the room itself are dated which made me question the price of stay, but as mentioned earlier, the bed/bathroom are done up really nicely.

Great location in downtown Killarney among nearby restaurants and shops. We could hear music playing in the evening with our windows open, which we enjoyed but could understand how the noise might bother some folks (closing the windows blocked the sound fairly well). Rooms were well-prepared and clean with modern bathroom amenities (rainfall shower, heated towel rack). Had dinner at the restaurant downstairs one night and enjoyed the food as well as the live music.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Killarney. Large parking lot nearby. Above a restaurant/bar but very quiet in the rooms. The rooms are small but very clean. The bathroom was awesome! The shower is huge and the tiles are gorgeous. Beds comfortable-ish, linens nice. Close to everything in town and the restaurant is delicious!

The mattress could use a topper. I could feel the springs. No fans provided and one of the rooms we had was very hot.

We loved the experience of staying in a hotel above a pub! We were on the top floor, I think it was 3 floors up, with access via the staircase. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. There is an electric water pot in the rooms to heat water for coffee or tea. Live music played in the pub below until 11 pm. We enjoyed cocktails and the live entertainment. We could hear the music in our rooms, but it didn't wasn't loud enough to keep us from falling asleep. The walls are rather thin, and we could hear people coming upstairs and talking in the hallway around 11 pm. The people shushed each other, and they quieted down right away. This wasn't a problem for us. We really wanted the experience of staying in a hotel above a pub, and this fit the bill for us. We wandered around the town and enjoyed shopping, dining, and enjoyed coffee at a local bistro before leaving town. We would stay here again!

There isn't anything that we didn't like.
