Talter Jack is a great place 2 stay Me and my friends stayed in a triple room which was spotless The breakfast had a great choice u could have a full Irish or scrambled egg with sausages or bacon very tasty couldn't fault the place the bar is below great entertainment and a great vibe 2 the place they seve food as well so u could have lunch or Yr dinner we stayed on a Thursday and the bar had a late opening didn't hear a thing from my room above Talter Jack is rite in the centre of the town near all restaurants pub and gift shops and the bus station so if Yr comin 2 Killarney I would recommend this place it was fab 10 out or 10 will be goin there again soon 😆🥳🥳🥳🤩🤩

Great location right at the heart of town. We were warned it may be a little noisy at night as the room was over the bar and near a Main Street but it wasn’t an issue at all - we didn’t hear anything. The bed was very comfortable and the room had everything we needed. We loved walking around the neighborhood, with plenty of bars and restaurants just steps from the hotel.

The parking was hard to find as our GPS sent us in the wrong direction. We had to go in and ask for help (very helpful staff!) but it would be handy to have the exact post code for the car park in advance as there are a lot of closed/one-way streets to navigate.

To be honest, the room, the bed and the bathroom was fantastic, new and clean. Everything was very nice and comfortable except it was too noisy!! Breakfast was complete and nice too.

The room was really nice and clean and the bed was gigantic and comfortable, but having the pub just down stairs was very inconvenient. The room is not isolated at all and music were really loud until very late even it was a Sunday. Then we could hear every sound coming from the corridor and our door stumbled really hard when any other door was shut. We thought someone was trying to open our own door each time this happened!

Fantastic location, right in the heart of town. It has a very large bar /restaurant area on the ground floor with great food and entertainment in the evening. Breakfast served there too and was lovely. All of the staff were very nice and attentive too. The room on the first floor was spotless, not the biggest but for the price was brilliant. The facilities were so good I've already booked again. I'd thoroughly recommend.

The rooms was spotlessly clean and the staff was very pleasant and helpful,food in the pub was lovely and very reasonably priced

We had some of the best pillows I have ever slept on in a hotel or b&b but the staff came in on our second day and removed them they was replaced by two pillows that was like concrete slabs to sleep on. Also if you are looking for a good nights sleep this isn't the place to be booking as it is above a pub with a late licence. The rooms are on the small side but as a place to sleep and shower we found it to be more than suitable for just that

I stayed here for 4 nights while I was in Killarney for a friends wedding. Its location is perfect easy to walk to everything in town. The venue itself was fantastic rooms were probably the best I have stayed in on my travels so far. Well heated great quality. Bathroom had heated mirror and towl rack so made using it very easy. I had breakfast included and it was fantastic every morning with a food range of things to chose from with a rang of drinks also.

My only thing I would say as a negative that you can here through walls quite easily so hearing people talk in the room next to you was very common. For anyone staying here you also have to understand that they have live music also which can be loud and you can also here this too. If that doesnt bother you I would say this is the place for you. Maybe even for you if you have some ear plugs. But over all great bar and accommodation

Perfect location right off Main Street in Killarney. If you are planning an evening or night hitting the pubs, you probably cannot find a better place. Breakfast was good.

When we booked, we were not aware that the rooms are over a pub. It was a bit noisy - but not any more than one would expect for this location. So if you are looking for a quiet room, this may not be your best option. The room was rather small, again no surprise once you see the location.

Center of city location with shops everywhere, walking distance from train station, close to taxi station, staff were amazing: Patrick, Bruno, Dara and Emma and others. Emma even tracked us down when one member of our group misplaced her cane! Rooms were comfy, walk-in showers. Delicious meals and outside patio were a bonus.

Since this area has no need for air conditioning, and no fans were available, we opened our windows onto the street. Street noise and music made for late sleeps. Younger people may appreciate this location more. There is no lift but stairs easy to navigate.

Full Irish breakfast couldn’t be faulted and plenty of it. Ideal location,all restaurant, bars and shops right outside the door. Staff were lovely and very friendly Overall a great place to stay Excellent value for money You couldn’t be disappointed Will definitely be back

Perfect location, perfect room, nice staff!

It has only 2 little problems: maybe it for the Bank holiday there was a concert until 2 AM. If we had known it before we would stay in the bar and not in the bed 🤣. The concert was really so nice! The other problem was that was too hot: I know that there was not AC and it's not your fault if we had 26 degrees, but an easy suggestion could be it give a lighter blanket. 😉
