very comfortable rooms although horrifically warm

I felt that breakfast could’ve been included in our stay as we had paid €600 to stay for 2 nights. this morning we went down for breakfast after checking out and we were told the chef may not have hot food for us which was disappointing we ordered 2 full breakfast and I must say I was disgusted I ate 2 bites and I have never tasted a breakfast that bad before. we were then informed after awhile our breakfast was not included and were in horror to find out that we were being charged €45 for 2 breakfasts which was beyond ridiculous especially after not being able to eat it. we were given warmed bread instead of toast and got some kind of salsa sauce instead of beans. I’m very disappointed as we were really looking forward to it

Charming, historic hotel located in the heart of Killarney which was within walking distance of restaurants, shops and pubs. Evelyn, who was the Events Coordinator was fabulous and gave us great recommendations for things that fit into our itinerary. The staff were super friendly and attentive and made us feel at home. We loved hanging out in the beautiful spacious lobby lounge and sampling drinks at the wine bar. The rooms were large,quaint and comfortable. We loved it so much we decided to return later in the trip. we highly recommend staying here.

It’s a lovely property in a great location for walking. The decor and space are grand and opulent. The bathroom and tub are gorgeous. Rooms and bed comfortable.

The price is exorbitant and I’m not sure where they get off charging so much for the room. Carpet needs updating and the staff at the bar were super rude to my husband when he asked about the menu for dinner. We did NOT eat dinner at the hotel because of that. There are great restaurants in town and we found another option!

The staff were very friendly and welcoming The lobby area,the Garden room and Browne’s bar were beautifully furnished and comfortable We travelled to Killarney by train and it was great that the hotel was so close to the train station The food was excellent

The actual bedroom was not as well furnished as the ones in the photos A big disadvantage was the very poor Wi-Fi It didn’t work in the bedroom and not very successfully in the lobby area

We loved EVERYTHING about the property!!! By far my favorite hotel while is Ireland for 2 weeks and 5 hotels. The suites are luxurious, comfortable and amenities such as bedding and robes are 5 star!! The robes are amazing!!! Great location with parking on-site which made our day trips so easy to go get the car within steps of the front door. I'm still dreaming of this hotel, would highly recommend!!

Nothing it was perfect

Where to start? The most gorgeous hotel in the most perfect location for visiting Killarney. The hotel is near the main bus/train station but has ample parking as well. We ended up booking this hotel last minute after a disaster of a day with our other booking and what an absolute amazing find, and thankful for the stress! The wonderful reception gave us an unexpected upgrade which meant so much to us after the day we had (they didn't even know!) which meant we had the most relaxing couple of days. Would recommend hands down, and thank you :)

Breakfast was the only disappointment, and not really worth the 45 Euros for 2 people. Rushed, and just a bit average, would just head into town to eat.

Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and the bed was absolutely a dream, a great nights sleep. We had breakfast only once and it was very good, food was presented well and everything was hot.

The only thing that could have been better would have been the weather, and of course, that was nothing the hotel could have improved 😉

Breakfast was very good. I like the shower design, although a little dated, good thought had gone into having the controls accesible from outside the shower meaning water gets to temp before you step in.

Found it strange that we couldn't reserve a table at the restaurant, walk in and wait, meaning the timing was pot luck if we got a table.

We like the charm of the hotel and the very professional and courteous staff. The bar and restaurant were great, Please note that the restaurants and room service closely early most likely due to lingering covid staffing issues.

The rooms were a bit warm due to the lack of ventilation. Even with the fan running it tended to get rather warm to sleep. The fitness, sauna, steam would have been nice to use before each day however it did not open until 8AM and the tour day started at 9AM.

Everything. The best staff I have ever come across in a hotel. From reception to the bar to the spa the staff were amazing. Special mention to Bethany and Yohan in brownes bar and to Christine in the spa. The decor, the grounds, the room and bathroom and the location are perfect. The food and drinks amazing. Spotlessly clean. Will definitely be returning. Keep up the amazing work
