John was a fantastic host! He welcomed us in and gave great information about the local area. He also remembered what our plans were and asked about them each morning at breakfast. The breakfast selection was great and the fresh hot breads were delicious! The location was perfect, it was a short drive into downtown Killarney and a short drive or walk to stunning views in the Gap of Dunloe.

The shower made the entire bathroom floor wet and slippery. We felt bad using an extra towel each night to dry it so no one slipped if they got up to used the toilet during the night.

John was a very kind host giving many tips. The room and house were clean, easy to find and the size of the bed and size of room and bath were great. The bed espeacially was great. We loved staiing there and would recommend it to everybody. Many informations are given in a book in the room about nice spots in the surrounding from the hosts. Simple continental breakfast.

The wifi signal was not strong enough for our room. So we had no internet. That would be easy to solve. We love the hosts for there idea and concept. But in the concept it is mentioned that sustainability is important for them. Then i would recommend to get rid of the plastic for breakfast (Marmelade; cheese etc.). That could be replaced by more sustainable alternatives.

Loved the location ~ just a stone’s throw from Kate Kearney’s & Gap of Dunloe. Nice big room. The bedding was comfy - slept great. The hosts were very accommodating - provided a space heater because my room was cold.

The breakfast was only continental ~ wish there was a hot selection as well. TV was small and only had a few local stations (no remote) which was ok because I brought a good book. I didn’t care for the modern decor ~ it didn’t vibe with the traditional setting & furniture.

Accommodation was clean and modern. The hosts were fabulous, so informative and knowledgeable about the local area. Stunning location. About a 5min drive to the gap of Dunloe, 10min walk to kate kearneys cottagr and 20min into Killarney, taxi roughly €20-25. The rooms were well kept, comfortable and we had the most beautiful view of the mountains. Lovely small continental buffet breakfast perfect start to the day.

Older bathroom while fully functional shower could do with an upgrade. Wouldn't make me not want to stay again.

Beautiful big room and bathroom, in a quiet location. Location was 15 min drive of Killarney, too far for a walk, but still easy to go to.

We did expect a little more choice for breakfast, like a slice of charcuterie or a boiled egg, as alternative because there was no full egg-bacon-sausage breakfast. It was OK, but compared to the rest of the B&B, we thought the breakfast was the least taken care of.

Everything about this B&B is wonderful. Host was friendly and helpful, breakfast lovely, room very very comfortable. Two pillows each, yay. A pub with music 600m away. Quiet location but close to everything. Highly recommend staying here.

Only one tiny thing, the shower was not draining well so the bathroom flooded, however I wouldn’t mark you down on this, as these things happen and im sure you’ll get it fixed as soon as you can.

Location was perfect for visiting Gap of Dunloe and Ring of Kerry. The check-in process was smooth and John ensured that we were comfortable in the room allocated to us. Mountain view was great. Breakfast was great and John ensured that there was plenty of food for all the guests. We enjoyed our stay

The property is beautiful and rooms are big. It's a little outside the town, but walkable.to Kate Kearnys cottage and a perfect location to start the gap of Dunloe walk.

It's tough to get a taxi into town as we didn't know numbers or have a phone to call, but we had a car so it was okay.

The host was lovely Location was fantastic (5 min walk from Kate Kearneys cottage), close to where I started my Carrauntoohil climb etc. Room was spacious and the bed was SO cosy!!

The breakfast left a little to be desired. They haven't returned to a proper breakfast offering so you receive a takeaway bag with 'continental' breakfast. First morning included - bread, jam, wagonwheel??, out of date juice carton, babybel, laughing cow, yogurt... it was an interesting selection. Awful lot went to waste. Next day they gave me a beautiful fruit salad & fab brown bread which was delicious and really appreciated. So hit and miss I guess.

An absolutely stunning place, the Ferris Wheel B and B is beautiful with a lovely dinning room and garden. A peaceful location owned by John and Nora, certainly a hidden gem. John and Nora are incredibly friendly and happy to help, give directions and suggestions for the walk through the Gap. Would highly recommend a stay here! You can walk the Gap of Dunloe or hire a horse and cart, have dinner at Kate Kearney's cottage a short walk away and enjoy the live traditional Irish music, 7 nights a week.

Would certainly recommend spending a few nights here. We had 2 nights but would have enjoyed more if we knew how amazing it was going to be.
