Beautiful well looked after building in and out. Staff were friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic. The bed was big and comfortable and I really loved the size of the room and high ceilings. Had everything we needed for our overnight stay. A short 10 minute walk to all of the action of Cork city centre and less than €10 in a taxi to get back.

Not much I didn’t like. Could have done with a fridge in the room as it was very hot the week we went and we’re on a road trip so we were taking food and drink with us everywhere we went.

First of all, the most important thing is the bed was super comfortable, I had an amazing sleep. The staff is very kind and helpful. I would like to highlight Ellen and Megan (dinner service) and Brian (the late receptionist). They were my favourite ones but all of them were super nice. The dinner was fantastic, I really liked the food.

I loved the sauna, it was perfectly hot altough I haven't seen anywhere the emergency button. This is very important for safety reasons.

We love the place, the service, the cleanliness, the organization and the breakfast. A historic building, very well preserved, where we could rest comfortably. It was so worth it for us!

We received a very large number of emails before arriving, including repeated messages. One of them invited me to check in early, which I did, but, arriving at the hotel reception, I had to write my address again. I didn't understand. I believe there is something to be adjusted on the website. We also had a small mismatch of information regarding the reservation and price of breakfast. We suggest the company review the online platform. However, these details did not affect how positively we feel about the hotel as a whole.

Friendly staff , lovely room.

Four star facility does not have a painter in a d out of the kitchen and continuously hanging about dining room. It really in my opinion disregards any hint of elite, four star status that I'm sure the hotel could have. No mini bar in room disappointing.

Fantastic hotel. Big airy rooms. Friendly staff. Beautifully decorated and furnished. Special shout out to the older fella from Cork who works the late bar. He was a really friendly fella and great craic.

Breakfast was a bit on the small side.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating. I needed a room with a bath for a photoshoot and they gave me a beautiful room. Front desk staff were very friendly on arrival and check out. Night bar staff also very friendly. Great location and views. Gorgeous outdoor area

The only thing I can say is that the internet connection wasn't strong on the tv.

Nice property and architecture. Some lovely period features like stained glass panels. Staff were friendly and efficient. Room was ready early when I checked in. I asked for a quiet room and they put me on the top floor to accommodate that. Great views over Cork city. Close to all the good restaurants/bars on McCurtain street and in St Luke's.

Sadly, I could hear cars and people downstairs talking late into the night. I would advise people to bring earplugs if they're light sleepers. There were a few things in the room (303) that could have been better. There were some dirty shoe prints on the floor of the bathroom from the previous stay. Some of the decor in the room wasn't finished that well - a side of the door panel in the bathroom was missing, the wallpaper was patched up, the wardrobe and phone were quite old school (probably datimg from the previous hotel). The hotel is a walk from the centre of Cork city and up some steep hills. Not a problem for me, but might be for others.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was quiet at night which was great. We had lunch in the restaurant and the waitress was very helpful and gave us a takeaway lunch to take up to our daughters room as she didn't want to come down for food. Tea making facilities in the room

The room was too hot. The bed was a bit too soft for myself and my husband but our daughter said she thought it was perfect.
