Staff was very friendly and accommodating, no loud noises from any of the neighboring guests or buildings despite being off a busy road. The beds were comfortable and clean. Plenty of outlets for charging devices. Check in and out was easy. Centrally located to many good restaurants for dinner. Highly recommend going to Son of A Bun, Burger Restaurant (The Veggie Burger was amazing! "Crack")

The room was stuffy, and there weren't any real windows to open, but they brought us a small fan to try and help with that. The toilet took a few pumps to flush fully, and there wasn't a fan in the bathroom to help with steam after a shower. GPS kept taking us down "Lovers Walk" road, which was very narrow - be careful of cars coming the other direction.

The room had everything we needed and more, a kettle and coffee maker, a comfortable chair, coat-hangers and more. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in, duvets were warm and perfect for the chilly weather. Easy connection with the city by the bus 214, it stops right outside of the house and takes less than 10 minutes to commute to the city center. Breakfast was amazing, everything you might need for a good start of the day. Big thank you for accommodating our early departure and still providing breakfast. We enjoyed our short stay at your place a lot 😊

Nothing really, everything was great.

Really great staff and a fantastic breakfast (kindly added onto my booking for no extra cost upon arrival although not originally booked). Comfortable beds. Location suited where I needed to be for work but if it’s a night in Cork you’re after, it’s a bit of a walk (a nice walk all the same though). Basic amenities but I wasn’t looking for anything else.

WiFi although advertised along with the password printed in the room did not work for some reason. Not a major problem but could make for a problem if it was needed

A short drive to Cork town centre, the Belvedere Lodge is a good place for a stopover. There’s free parking out the front and a great cooked breakfast in the morning with beautiful tea cups. The room was good for 4 of us (family) but might be a bit small for 4 adults. The kettle was definitely welcomed! The beds were comfy and warm and the room was quiet despite being on a main road with lots of traffic out the front.

The bathroom looks like it had been renovated recently and it’s really nice but there was mould on the ceiling and the strip lights around the mirror were hanging down.

Mary and Mike were so kind. We pulled up in the cold and rain and Mary was at the door to meet us and get us in quickly. She let us get settled and made us a fresh pot of tea and slice of homemade cake to warm up and get comfortable. Mary took it upon herself to upgrade us to make us more comfortable by offering us an extra available room so that we could spread out a little for the night and dry out in comfort. They were so sweet and were wonderful hosts who gave us options of places to see and things to do to adjust for the rainy weather when our original plans were washed out. I cannot recommend staying here enough. This was our favorite stay of our two week trip and we cannot thank Mary and Mike enough for making us feel so welcome!

Belvedere Lodge is a lovely Victorian townhouse, very impressive and nicely decorated. It should be noted that the property has a very large driveway where you can park for free. We had a warm and efficient check-in/welcome in a beautiful room decorated with period decor. Our twin room was huge, with a TV, kettle, wi-fi, one large double bed, a good sized single and a ante-room with sitting chair and sofa bed. The bathroom was modern. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Served in a charming tea-room, the staff had been notified of my request for a vegan option and I was surprised to be offered a cooked Irish breakfast with vegan sausages and black pudding. Often I just expect a piece of fruit and some black coffee, so this was a real treat. Our expectations were exceeded, and I would definitely stay here again, it offers great value for money compared with most of the other hotels and B&Bs I looked at.

The B&B is a little outside of the centre of the city. We were able to easily get in on the bus (the stop is right outside) which comes every 15 mins or so and costs 1.90 EUR (you need cash!). A late-night taxi ride back cost about 10 EUR. The immediate surroundings are, unfortunately, a flyover. On the plus side, it's only a 15 min drive to the airport.

The decor was very nice, actually much better than in the photos which don't do it justice. The reception room was lovely and the receptionist on the day was very efficient. There was good wifi available. The staff were absolutely wonderful and couldn't do enough to help, everyone was so kind and generous. There was a very pl atmosphere here, which really made us feel at home. The breakfast was delicious and the dining room was very relaxed. The bedroom was very large and well appointed. Overall we were very pleased to have chosen Belvedere Lodge and would recommend it to anyone looking to visit Cork.

It was a lovely hotel, warm, relaxed and comfortable, and the staff were very kind and generous. We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing I could possibly find fault with was our shower was a bit on the hot side.

Dated property but well kept, and I love the old style properties 👌🏾🤎. Friendly staff, spacious and clean room bus stop more or less on the door step 30 minute walk to town centre, and back if you miss the last bus, 23.30. Lovely full Irish Breakfast and plenty of various other choices, Nice back garden that I hadn't noticed last time that I stayed 😀

Room number 1, Smokers bench right outside the window ( some loud french smokers chatting!!) which could be moved over to the other side where the reception is then, not bothering anyone 🤔

The staff members were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable; excellent breakfast served by lovely women on beautiful china in a charming breakfast room; beautiful garden; free parking.

We didn't use Goggle Maps so the location was difficult to find using our faulty GPS from Avis. The nearby restaurant that the host recommended was closed; we got lost several times trying to find a place to eat. Fortunately, we stumbled upon The Cow Pub where Gary (bartender) and Frank (a customer) recommended "The Barn" where we had an excellent meal. Gary even drew us map! Like many Irish B&Bs, the Belvedere Lodge did not have washcloths. The hairdryer (see photo) looked a little like a vacuum cleaner. It worked well, but the hose got extremely hot.

Prompt hassle-free check-in at requested time. Lovely staff, large clean room, huge tiled en-suite with sunken bathtub, coffee machine and large TV in room, high ceilings and great luxury decor in a period property. Lovely breakfast, great choice available in delightful sunroom, with prompt friendly service. Ample parking available, beautiful garden and surroundings. Great location on edge of the city, easy to find, with service station and dining out facilities practically next door. We left our car at the property and walked to the city centre but there is a bus stop facilitated by 6 different bus routes right outside the property, if preferred. Beautiful huge bed with thick comfortable mattress, the best I have EVER experienced in any accommodation. Absolutely 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Couldn't fault this accommodation, its facilities or its wonderful staff, loved it so much and will definitely be back ☺️
