The room was perfect for my trip, I was coming to Dublin to see a concert; it had a bed, a shower and a toilet. It was a 15 minute walk to the venue, the bar had cold beer before and after the show. Also right up the street were two little breakfast places that had amazingly fresh and wonderful breakfasts. Kennedy's had Breakfast too, but I have to stay away from the "Big Irish Breakfast" per my blood results (insert frowny face here )
I really can't think of anything that I did not like. The staff was friendly, the beer was cold, the location was perfect, access was no issue, check in was simple....I would recommend this place to other going to Dublin

This is a great location just a short distance away from Dublin City Centre, there are bus stops right next to it on both sides of the road for easy transportation to the city and airport. It is also a short walk away from Drumcondra train station, and is within a fair walking distance of the city centre if you enjoy a walk as well. The room was very nicely furnished and clean, with a comfortable bed and a good shower and toiletries provided upon arrival. There were also multiple plug sockets including one USB socket which was handy, and a considerably big television. There is a pub below decorated in a traditional Irish style (check-in is at the bar) which serves food and reasonably priced drink, including a nice pint of Guinness. There was live music on in the evening which caused a small amount of noise in my room but this is not a complaint as it was fully expected staying above a pub, complimentary earplugs are also provided by the property for this reason. Overall, this is a great property that provides a great room at really good value for money for the Dublin area - I'd fully recommend and would stay here again!
I didn't have any dislikes about my stay.

We have stayed in Kennedys on a good few occasions and find it very suitable for our needs. A few times we stayed were when going for an early flight or returning on a late one. The coach pick up point is a 5 to six minute walk away at Drumcondra train station. We have also stayed on normal short breaks. Drumcondra is a nice suburb with a nice variety of restaurants and pubs. Kennedys itself is a nice pub with good bar food. The rooms are not that big but warm with plenty towels and toiletries also a very good shower. Now the rooms are over the pub so if you are a person that likes an early night and noise bothers you you might want to check whether there is music on. Any night that we have stayed when music has been on has not been an issue for us. Note they do provide ear plugs but we have never used them.

Ourselves and a few of our friends from Sligo have stayed in Kennedys on a number of occasions and find it a fantastic place to stay. We normally travel up by train and Kennedys is only a four minute walk from Drumcondra station. The rooms are basic enough but everything that you require is available including tea and coffee making facilities, plenty clean towels and shower gel and shampoo. Also a pretty powerful shower. Good quality food is served in the bar. There is a nice Indian restaurant across the road and a couple of Chinese/Asian a short walk up the street. We have dined in them all on different occasions and they are all very good as is Kennedys itself. Drumcondra village itself is a nice place to stay. Remember Kennedys is a pub with rooms so there maybe a bit of noise from downstairs especially if there is a band playing but generally speaking it has never bothered us and is normally quiet from midnight on.
Everything as always was fine. The hallway area on the way in to the bedrooms could possibly be improved a little.

The property was very well located with easily accessible transport links to both the airport (30 minutes) and city centre (20 minutes). Shops and restaurants all within walking distance. There is a bar menu which we didn’t eat personally but the food looked and smelt really good. Easily the best pint a Guinness we had during our stay! Much much much better than the Temple Bars. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The double rooms were perfect for a couple and beds super comfortable and very well priced.

Breakfast excellent fresh cooked. The location was perfect for me as I was using public transport. Bus at the door. Easy access to airport and 10 minute bus ride to Dublin.
Weekends quite noisy but it is a lively pub and I expected that. I was fully aware that was the case so can't complain.

The staff were amazing, the entertainment was fantastic, the food was plentiful and tasty and the atmosphere was great with all the locals. Would definitely recommend and come here again.
The only negative we had was that we thought being a B&B that the breakfast would be included with the price however it is not. But still worth paying for as the breakfast was lovely.

Fantastic location with extremely close access to the bus line. We loved that it was above a popular pub and the pub staff were super friendly. It was well run and the room was one of the most well appointed one that we stayed in our whole trip. We appreciated the details of small toiletries on the beds.
I wish there was an option to have breakfast or dinner included, something you could pay in advance to have.

The people were absolutely amazing! I would stay again even if the facilities were poor just to hang out with Ronan, Lauren, and the rest of the staff at the pub. They are all lovely people!
The only negative for me was the heat. It was chilly and I couldn’t adjust the heat. But once I let them know they provided another heater.
