-Central location , right next to O’Connell street, luas stops , and a pub that is great craic and plays live music every night. -Blackout blinds, rooms small but homely , cleaned every day, complimentary tea and I slept well each night. -warm shower

-Hot tap was scalding hot -one of the receptionists tried to charge us €15 for breakfast when a different receptionist had informed us it was €10 if you paid downstairs -Breakfast disappointing not much continental eg no fruit , yogurt and as a vegetarian the breakfast wasn’t worth the price paid I had (2 poached eggs i asked for , hash brown , baked beans , 2 tomato’s and toast). No mushrooms or extra beans, hash browns etc

Very clean and tidy room. So central. Take a left and you can see the Spire in all its glory. Situated in the heart of Dublin City. Staff were very helpful for our stay.

This is extremely nit picky but the numerous flights of stairs with luggage/ no lift option. Don’t remember being warned of this pre-booking.

Location was fantastic for walking around central Dublin and proximity to the central bus station and the airport express (two blocks away) Breakfast and the kitchen staff were wonderful and made each morning a treat! Sean, Carrie and Robecka were especially nice and helpful at the front desk reception.

lack of responsiveness to repair minor nuisances: curtains off rod, light fixture not working. 1st floor room especially noisy. Doubling price of room because Garth Brooks came to town while we were already there.

The staff were incredible. A special shout out to Sean the manager. Thank you and all the staff so much.rooms were clean, comfortable and had absolutely everything you need. They’re en-suite, you have kettle and really good tea and coffee, tv in the room, hanging space, window, dressing table. And exactly how it’s portrayed in the pictures. They actually have both bars under/ next door. The electric circus has comfy longes and huge Mexican and Moroccan vibes, trendy, hip, great cocktails, food. Then you have the Celt bar, wonderful tradition irish bar, music every night and a lovely menu of lunch and dinners. The location of the Celtic lodge is truly outstanding. It’s only down the street across from GPO/ spire. Luas literally couple mins away. Bus stops outside the door. And you’ve got a Tesco and Lidl supermarket outside on same street. Fab cafes🥘, Turkish,Indian, Italian, irish. ☘️ I love it and absolutely be staying here every time I’m in the city.

No lift . But ifs a listed building so they weren’t not allowed. But they could really do with some way of sending up baggage or to accommodate disabled persons. But I will say they offered to help me in any way possible.🥰

- The hotel is located in a very good place in the city centre, close to everything you need within walking distance. - The staff at the hotel is very nice. We had some minor issues with one of the room and the staff was glad to help us solve the problem very quickly! Also storing our luggage when we were not able to check-in yet or we had to check-out sooner was no problem. - The rooms are also very nice and spacious enough. - Overall great value of money.

- There is no elevator in the hotel, but the staff gladly helped us with our suitcases up the stairs. - As there is a bar right downstair, I understand that people who are sensitive to outside noises or families with little kids may find this a bit annoying. However, the bar is usually quiet before midnight. - As most of the hotel seems to be renovated, this is not the case with the bathrooms. We found them a bit dirtier and overall had not the best impression with the bathrooms.

Wonderful listed building in the heart of the city, comfy beds,en-suite rooms, tea& coffee making facilities in your room along with tv, and WiFi, excellent dining options for breakfast. Which is truly delicious. The guesthouse has 24/7 reception and door buzzer for entry so very safe .Only downside is no lift. Which wasn’t allowed by planners. But it would be good if a bag valet was there to help. Across the road is takeaway, plus several big chain supermarkets. Fresh bakeries, cafes. And you’re only a stroll of a few hundred meters to the spire/ gpo. The guesthouse is connected to 2 excellent pubs , The Celt is old world traditional irish with excellent food and music nightly. The other is the Electric Circus, it’s more trendy with eclectic decor with Moroccan influences. It also has dj at weekends and a lovely food menu and great cocktail.

Not their fault as planning won’t allow a lift in a listed building. But I really missed it .

The Celtic Lodge was a last minute booking for me but I was NOT left disappointed an early check-in was available & my bags stored giving me time to explore the area & location which was perfect with lots to see, places to visit, great venues to eat & drink, multiple transport links, the room was a good size, all of its facilities immaculately clean & plenty of towels, tea, coffee, all the pillows & bedding were crisp & fresh, it does not come any better than this, in the evening I visited their sister bar the Celt which was the highlight of my stay in Dublin, the pub grub was so tasty & the free live entertainment was incredible giving me the true Irish experience of its fair city. All this was made possible by the fine young man on reception (forgive me I've forgotten your name) who went above & beyond his call of duty to make my stay in the city a most memorable one, thank you for the wake up call & coffee to go... I made the coach in ample time & arrived at the airport safe & sound all down to your total professionalism, a true gentleman, a big thanks from me....

Nothing to dislike...

Located right above a lively bar sharing the same name. You can hear the music from the room and it's a short walk for a pint and some live music ! Thankfully the music stops around 11pm / midnight so it's very possible to sleep. The hotel is pretty clean and smelled nice. The Full Irish breakfast was good and the portions were big enough to keep me from feeling hungry for about ten hours. The lady at the breakfast room was lovely, the cleaning staff super friendly and Shaun at the reception was a delight when he was around - the other guys, not so much.

There was a dangerous sharp piece of metal sticking out near the toilet, I nearly impaled my leg on it. I think it was a broken off toilet roll holder. Must fix ASAP. Also our room smelled like Jagermeister, even though the rest of the hotel smelled good.

Very good location, short walk to O'Connell Street. The room was small but very comfortable, with good WiFi. The breakfast was good too. All the staff were very friendly and gave us some great advice on places to eat etc. We were advised to park our car in the multi-storey behind the hotel, but there is an unloading bay right outside the hotel so you can move it after you've dumped your bags. I left the car in the car park for our stay of three days. On checking out I was given a discount card for the car park. I was a bit dubious, but it worked perfectly! Cost me 44 Euros which I thought was quite reasonable for a city centre. I would definitely go back.

Can't think of anything.

It’s in a great location, if your staying in Dublin. There are plenty of shops on the door step, and two great bars next door! The staff on reception were friendly and helpful throughout our stay and they are a credit to this hotel. The breakfast was perfect and very reasonable. The rooms are very good quality. Perfect for a stag do or hen do. When I return to Dublin this is where I will stay!

I found no fault with the hotel , the reception area could probably do with a new coat of paint due to the wear and tear, apart from that everything was great.
