Great location and on a quiet road, breakfast was nice and good quality, the room was lovely

We lucky got a upgrade to classic standard, the cozy must be very small I imagine. The staff were very pleasant, but very formal so not a personal touch of a boutique hotel that I would like. We stayed three nights if you were there any longer breakfast would be too the same. The signs about if you take the shower gel etc you be charged 20 euros a bit in your face for a nice hotel, better they just put it in the small print or tell you, or if so worried give small lotions that people could take. It not cheap so you would expect this.

Everything and everyone! What an incredible hotel that didn’t seem like a hotel. The beautiful room felt like a suite with all the amenities one could wish for including towel warmers. The breakfasts were amazing! Lots of variety, cooked perfectly, and presented beautifully. The staff is wonderful providing service graciously and cheerfully. There was nothing we disliked. Everything was perfect!

What a wonderful boutique hotel! I had booked two rooms and from the moment we arrived we were greeted by very friendly staff and shown to two extremely spacious rooms in the Georgian building opposite reception and to our delight the rooms were next to each other - the rooms were huge, with a very comfortable bed, couch, wardrobe, desk and luxurious bathroom. The breakfast was included in our stay and amazing every morning - super attentive staff and delicious food. The staff were incredibly helpful on many occasions and assisted with every request. Worth noting the property doesn’t have elevators due to the heritage building - but as someone who hates elevators this was perfect for me! The staff helped with our bags so don’t let this put you off. I actually can’t wait to come back!

This is a beautiful small hotel on a quiet street in the very heart of Dublin’s exciting downtown. Breakfast here is superb and top notch restaurants are even located on the same street. Two streets over is Dublin’s pedestrian world class shopping district filled with amazing street performers and teeming with life, music and laughter in its lively pubs. The historic Book of Kells can be visited half a block away. The hotel is beautifully refurbished with the latest in modern plumbing and the king sized beds are the most comfortable we have found in Ireland.

My husband and I enjoyed our very modern “attic” room but had to climb 6 flights of stairs to reach it. I enjoyed the exercise but be sure to book a lower floor room if you have mobility issues.

The staff were lovely, very helpful and highly professional. Breakfast was good quality and the choice was great. The location was really central. The room and bathroom were extremely clean and the toiletries lovely.

Although we booked a deluxe room it felt a little on the small side. Wardrobe space was good but no drawers. One of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in and it was huge. The room was at the back of the hotel and the outlook wasn't great. A flat roof with lots of units, air conditioning and fans? So it was quite noisy at night with the noise from this equipment. Also, food smells from this area permeated the bathroom.

The location was on a quiet street near Trinity College. No complaints about any noises and was in a central location. The room was a tad small but very clean. We broke a saucer and as soon as we alerted the staff they came in and cleaned the area on the floor. The breakfasts were amazing and very healthy. You could choose between two different options which we did daily. The best were the porridge with pears and the smoked salmon on bread with an avocado spread topped with an egg.

At night the temperature was up too high for our liking. We put the in room temp down to its lowest setting but this was still a bit too cloistering for us. We were always having to fix the bed (throw off covers) during the night to get a good nights sleep. Just a bit too warm for our liking was all. Other than that all was excellent.

The location was EXCELLENT. Around the corner from van pick up for our tour, short walk to the Book of Kells and the Trinity College Entrance, and also to the hop on/hop off busses for an overview of the city. We would definitely stay again and did! (After our five day tour). The staff was terrific. Especially Ellen, Julia and Gauber. Another bonus I didn’t anticipate was it was a reasonable walk to the pedestrian shopping/cafe area of Grafton St.! The breakfast and service for breakfast was excellent. I was very appreciative that the hotel let us stay on the ground floor. It made the world of difference to me as I am experiencing back issues. It was huge. Thank you staff!!!

There was nothing. I would not and did not book a taxi through the website. The reality is less expensive.

Everything was great! Attentive staff, a beautiful room which was immaculately clean and had wonderful facilities. Everything was thought of even down to the high-quality toiletries. Breakfast was very yummy and had great options. The location was central enough to walk to sites but also very quiet. We stayed for our wedding anniversary trip and they provided a gift with a handwritten note which felt very kind and personalised. Not something you find often nowadays! Would 100% recommend a stay here

Everything was great, wouldn't change a thing

We stayed at the Trinity Townhouse for 2 nights prior to St. Patrick’s Day2023 it was a dream. The location was perfect, we walked to all the sites, Trinity College, Temple Bar, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin Castle, Guinness Storehouse, St, Stephan’s Green and many more places.It is just off the hustle and bustle, on a quiet street. Great restaurants are around every corner. Special shout-out to Elena who responded quickly to any questions I had and recommended great restaurants like The Ivey. We were also fortunate that they allowed us to check in earlier than the allotted time and greatly appreciated it. The beds were very comfy and breakfast was top notch.

There was nothing we didn’t like about our stay and would definitely book it again if we ever make it back to Dublin.

Incredible location, warm welcoming staff, quiet room with extremely comfortable bed and linens, sitting area with comfy sofa, bathroom well appointed and a breakfast that I am still talking about to all my family and friends !! Simply put, this trip home to Dublin from the US started out on the exact right footing the day I walked into The Trinity Townhouse. I knew exactly where it was located as I worked right across the street from it many, many moons ago. Safe, central location that I could not recommend highly enough to anyone visiting Dublin for the first time ! The breakfast choices were amazing, served in a gorgeous, bright sunroom. Last but certainly not least, the staff of The Trinity Townhouse are what makes this gem of a hotel what it is. Nothing was any problem, very kind, attentive, welcoming and warm ! I recommend this hotel 1,000% and will continue to recommend it to any friends visiting Dublin in the future. Thank you all for a lovely, lovely stay ..... I will be back for sure !!

This comment is purely from a practical viewpoint, if you have several suitcases - a lift would have been amazing. However, the exercise helped after the yummy breakfasts .... so .... win / win.
