excelllent beds, central location, wonderful staff! Dublin is filled with nice, happy people. Expresso martini’s on tap-who knew?! Breakfast buffet had a good selection of food and Irish tea is the best wake up beverage.

bathroom a bit dated but authentic and clean.

I was travelling alone to be with friends during a crisis, and to do a project at EPIC. The hotel was perfectly situated for me to walk to all the places I needed to go in the city, and also to catch the DART at Tara Street. As a single woman, it felt safe and the staff made me feel welcome without being intrusive.

It would be nice if oat milk was an option at breakfast. I was catching an early ferry, and leaving the hotel at 6.30. So I asked at reception what to do about breakfast on my last day. The staff suggested a takeaway breakfast. However, on the day this proved to be very disappointing: two tiny dried-up pastries,a soggy processed cheese sandwich, an inedibly soggy tiny muffin and an apple. This wasn't worth 12 euro. It also tasted horrible and I could not eat it. I'd requested a pot of fruit, and soda bread and butter. If I come back, I'll remember not to buy a breakfast for my last morning.

Location is great, walking distance from anywhere, 5min to Trinity College, 8 to Temple Bar, 10 to the Spiral, 30 to Guinness Stonehouse. The hotel is right on the boundaries of the core center and an area that can be a little a bit shady (but safe) The hotel is above a fire station but you hardly notice it so is not a problem The staff is super friendly and speak many languages, lots of Spanish, Italian & Portuguese Rooms are comfortable - not that big but comfortable enough

The valet parking is the only thing that might not work because they have very limited spaces and you might need to park in street (like we did) - luckily it was Sunday and then a holiday and we were able to leave the car just outside but if not a Sunday or a holiday you have to remove the car by 7am.

The building is in a very good location, and the building itself is a very nice one- with plenty of room and tasteful renovations and additions. The staff are very friendly and the food and drinks were very good. With the jet lag and time difference we would look for a place to eat near the hotel that was still open at 9, but had no luck. So the hotel restaurant came to the rescue a few times.

The only issue we had was the room description vs the the room itself. We assumed that the Double room would imply two beds, but it was one. Also the room was smaller than we imagined. Also the bed was very easy to move- so we were careful not to lean on it, otherwise it would roll away.

Always stay here and always have had a good experience. However this two day stay was a little different. I felt somehow that standards had slipped. At check in we were told we were getting an upgrade but the allocated room was a very standard double. We’ve previously had an upgrade and the room had a coffee machine, slippers, dressing gowns etc. The room was perfectly adequate but not an upgrade.

Location is excellent

Stay in dublin for concert at the 3 arena. Our car was parked by the car valet for a fee of 23 EURO per night. Upon checking in we were greeted with very friendly staff. The room that we were given for three people included 2 single beds and 1 double bed. We stayed for one night. The breakfast the following day was of OK standard, but in saying that we were late to breakfast so the quality im sure would have been better had we gone earlier. Overall fantastic stay, location is a little out of central area but it is ok. We had to taxi to the 3 arena for concert.

Breakfast- some of the bits were cold and/or lacking. But we were late to breakfast so this could be why. Overall breakfast was ok.

Staff were friendly and happy to help. When I accidentally booked the wrong dates they were quick to help us out and adjust (thank you). Hotel oozes opulence upon entering.

Room ventilation was challenging as no a/c. We were able to crack the window open for air circulation however we had to close it overnight due to street noise and the room overnight was quite stuffy. Bathroom also had no exhaust fan so everything was damp when showering including all towels and hand towels, toiletries etc which then remained slightly damp the entire stay.

This was my second time staying at The Trinity City Hotel. The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Dublin city, and walking distance to both the North Side shopping district and the South Side high street shopping district The staff were so lovely and eager to assist. I stayed in the deluxe suite and it was so beautiful and spacious; more spacious than most hotels in Dublin City.

Can’t really fault this property, however, one thing to be mindful of is that the hotel does not have mini fridge - this would’ve been handy for keeping drinks cold.

We loved this hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in and the pillows were also so comfortable. The only downfall which is not the fault of the hotel was construction outside our room which started daily at 7am. The location of the hotel was great. We were able to walk to all the locations we were interested in going. I would strongly recommend this hotel to others travelling to this area.

Mentioned above just the construction. Not a fault of the hotel.

We have stayed here before ( about 5 times) and love staying at Trinity City as it is so welcoming, beautiful, with very friendly helpful staff, especially Gary on the front concierge desk and Gerry, the resident taxi man- two really nice guys . Gerry is a character and very funny and a super asset to the hotel. Both gents couldnt be more helpful. The hotel looks absolutely beautiful for Christmas. Location is great and the hotel is very affordable. We will be back! Thank you and Happy Christmas!
