Plenty of close parking, easy walk into town for dinner, the Castle and shopping! Our room (2) had enough space for 2 large suitcases 😁. Had hanging space and a queen size bed. The comfy bed, we slept well! The skyline view out our window at sunset outlining St Mary’s Cathedral was beautiful! Our hosts, Angela & John, were genteel & polite and they made a tasty breakfast to order.
Any movement on floors upstairs was very audible but luckily on our night the tenant above us was into bed and asleep fairly quickly after dinner. Our white noise app on phone took care of the noise and as I said we had a good night sleep.

We had a very enjoyable stay, the hosts were very friendly, very good breakfast too. The location is great, especially when you travel by train, as it is located between the station and the centre.
The kettle, tea etc was hidden away in the wardrobe and there was only one armchair, so if you want to have a coffee together, one person has to sit on the bed. The room could well be without the TV, as this was in a position where you could hardly watch it comfortably. We didn't miss it. there were 2 windows, only the small one could be opened.

Our stay was excellent. The room was very comfortable with unfussy decor, slept great. The location was perfect with safe street parking and walking everywhere in town was possible. We were on the top floor and the sky lights and view added to the charm. I even ran along the river and to a few sights in the morning. Breakfast was great and the inn keepers were so kind. Excellent value.
Not much. The shower was a bit small and didn’t drain well. Besides that stay was fantastic.

The location was great, within perfect walking distance to town. It was also very quiet. I had the full Irish breakfast which was tasty. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean.
My wife was only offered a continental breakfast. We had explained in advance that she is a vegetarian, but for some reason she was only offered the continental breakfast (yogurt, cereal, fruit, etc.). She would have loved to have the full Irish breakfast too just without the meat (eggs are fine). So, she left a little disappointed. We could have asked and chose not to, so I don't blame the hosts at all and we accept responsibility for not communicating this more effectively to them, just offering some feedback for future visitors (or the hosts if they read this).

Good location and friendly hosts, this B&B is a good choice for a short stay. The room was large and comfortable during our stay. Breakfast was delicious with the option of a full Irish breakfast and a vegetarian Irish breakfast as well as continental breakfast options.
We happened to be there during a warm spell and unfortunately the fan and lights were on the same switch, so it couldn’t be left on at night which made it a bit warm.

Great little B&B offering free parking near the city centre. Owners are very friendly, allowing us to park our car early and check in early as the room was ready. Great to be able to park and freely explore Kilkenny. Lovely breakfast, including vegetarian breakfast, and all round great stay. Beds were comfy and room was nice. Homely decor.
Everything was great. Facilities might be a bit on the "not modern" side but it's a homely B&B and everything works fine, and the price and location are unmatched. Can't complain!

The location is excellent as is not 500 meters far from city centre and most important attractions in Kilkenny as Kilkenny Castle, Medieval Museum, Pubs and Restaurants. Additional, The Owner Angela is the best and lovely to cross some tales with her, she is a truly writer with amazing histories to tell, you can get her books in the hotel and she lovely can sign it for you. She told us that her first book "not forgotten" could be transferred to a movie. Good luck Angela!
Small things, It would be good if there was a small table for the kettle for coffee, since it was inside a closet. And the room had enough space for additional small table.

Location was such that we could walk to everywhere we wanted to go. Breakfast (we had the full Irish) was delicious and plentiful. The hosts were very friendly. Our hostess is a published authoress. When I told her I also enjoy writing, she was genuinely interested in my work, and we had a wonderful (though brief because I knew she had things to do) chat about our writing experiences.
Nothing. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Celtic house was a 3 minute walk to Kilkenny City Center. it was perfect! We had a rental car and were able to just park the car and walk everywhere. The location was excellent! We were on the top floor and could see Kilkenny Castle from our window! Beautiful! John and Angela were so kind and friendly and accommodating. The bed was incredibly comfortable! There was tea, coffee, and milk with a hot water kettle in the room. The breakfast was amazing! Our first full Irish breakfast! We walked to Smithwicks for a tour. We walked to Matt the Miller for lunch. We walked to Sullivan’s for a pint. This is the perfect BnB to stay in Kilkenny. You couldn’t ask for a better location or a nicer couple!! Thank you John and Angela!!
We loved absolutely everything about this BnB.

All of it! , beautiful spotlessly clean home with sincere genuine hosts. John is a lovely man and was so helpful nothing is an imposition. We were made feel very welcome and whole experience was seamless, professional, with a homely personal touch. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice of hot or cold options. John and Angela offer exceptional accommodation and have my recommendation.
No issues or criticism!
