The hotel is next to St Baafs Cathedral and could hardly be better positioned for a day's walking round the sights in Ghent. Breakfast was reasonably good, other than the orange just which was poor.

We were arriving by car and it was not easy to find the hotel due to the one-way road system - one of us had to walk to the hotel to get advice, which involved going down a no-entry road. Advice in advance would have helped. And the hotel car park had the narrowest entry/exit we've experienced - we damaged a wheel as we left.

Excellent location; friendly staff; room overlooking the entrance to Sint Baafs Kathedraal; more than satisfactory and varied breakfast proposal.

Small room. The requirement to show a card at the entrance or during breakfast does not contribute to a relaxed atmosphere. I also recommend providing guests with slippers to use in the room. Last but not least, €4.50 for a 0.5 litre bottle of water at the hotel bar seems unreasonable, especially for guests.

The location was superb, right at the city centre and close to restaurants. The staff in general were extremely friendly and obliging. We received a warm welcome. The breakfasts were excellent. The room was very comfortable and well equipped.

In general the reception staff were well informed. There was, however, one young man who neither could help us with our enquiry (concerning the location of a Currency Exchange), nor seemed to want to be put out on our behalf. The information he gave us was wrong. I was sorry that the "speedy room key deposit " box at the end of our stay meant we missed the chance to properly say our farewells. The receptionist did not even look up. It was a shame after such a pleasant stay.

The bed is excellent. Housekeeping are very nice, they leave you fresh towels in front of the door, even when you request no cleaning for the day. Breakfast was delicious and had good variety. Very good value, considering the location. Would stay again.

Booklet in the room says they can lend plug adapters for electronics, but they don't have universal ones. The door of the room shakes when there is a breeze, or another door on the same floor is closed.

On arrival the people at the reception desk were very helpful in advising us on which places to visit, and were knowledgeable about the Christmas Market. The location could not have been better placed for sightseeing around the city. The breakfast buffet was excellent, could not have wished for more. Didn't have to wait long for one of the two elevators.

The size of the room was on the small side, but probably in line with what we paid for a city centre hotel. The underground car park was OK, but very tight corner on leaving.

I took my elderly mother to Ghent for a few days holiday, and all the staff were very helpful and kind to her. The hotel has 2 lifts so all areas are easy to access. The location of the hotel by the cathedral is ideal and it was not too noisy.

Initially we were given rooms on different floors but as soon as I explained on arrival that I needed to be on the same floor as my mother they immediately changed the allocation so this was possible.

Great location, good breakfast selection. The premium deluxe room was spacious and almost sound proof. The reception staff were helpful and efficient, especially Janns who went the extra mile to help us secure a luggage trolley for our bags and took extra care to ensure our booked ride arrived on time.

No bedroom slippers, no hand towels for drying our hands. The bath towels are too thread bare and doesn’t dry well.

good central location, clean and tidy

in order to get a kettle in your room you need to upgrade. if you upgrade to premium double you get a view of the square, the problem with that is the trams run right past the hotel from 05:30-01:30, yiu hear them every time they pass. very small bath in the premium double. If you require parking you will need to book ahead and reserve it. very steep slope with steps in middle of ramp to get into garage.

Location, location, location. Top. We have been staying at this hotel for at least 10 years, it is a favourite for its location. Definitely recommend, will come back. Everything else was good, without being wonderful. The rooms are small, the bathroom is small, but cleanliness is good.

Nothing really, I got exactly what I wanted. We didn't have breakfast, the price has moved up to 15€/person and I find that a bit much if you only want a cappuccino and sticky bun, we are not 3 course breakfast eaters. On site parking exists but there were no places available, you must reserve, the nearest underground pubic parking is 500 m away.

Good located at the center of the city, the place is very cosy! The staff was very kind and helpful!

A little bit noisy because of the cathedral next to the hotel! Some of the furnishings in the room are getting old.
