Lovely stay on the top floor with a view of the marina and the Harbour Bridge in the distance. A nice touch of a complimentary bottle of wine and Whittaker's chocolate bars to celebrate my Mum's birthday. The room was really clean and the twin beds were comfortable. Great location within walking distance to lovely Cafe's & eateries in the local area. Just a short walk over the pedestrian bridge to the Viaduct and Queen Street. Close to bus transport if needed. Staff were friendly and kindly looked after our luggage after check-out.

The lighting in the bathroom was a bit dark. There was no Cafe open attached to the Hotel, but we went for brunch down the road to The Pantry under the Park Hyatt - beautiful food!

Everything is within walking distance which was what we wanted. + High quality furniture and fixtures. + Spotless and rooms cleaned to a very high standard. + Supermarket just downstairs is helpful especially when travelling with little ones. + Check in and Check out procedure was smooth and very quick. + Small charge for late check out is available which we really appreciated. + 2 packs of milk left in the fridge in our children's room was a thoughtful touch.

- Interconnecting doors can't stay open but this was easily solvable with a pair of shoes.

Exactly as per photos, very clean and modern. Very quiet rooms, we had neighbours but did not realise until we ran across them in the hallway, great soundproofing. Perfect location, it is in a quiet street back from all the tourists and bars/restaurants but an easy 2 minute walk to the viaduct. The parking building is attached to the hotel, despite it not being associated to the hotel, which means you can park on the floor of your hotel room and then swipe card straight into the hotel from the same floor. It's $45 a day during the week or just $15 a day on weekends and public holidays

Nothing- everything was what the hotel had said.

The breakfast is a choice between two cafes and they give you a voucher which is awesome. The staff are super helpful and the room was great with good view on the water. I added the late checkout to 4pm for an extra 6o dollars which was well needed based on my crazy flight times. WIFI was perfect. Lastly, big thanks to the manager Ash for helping me out with a couple travel and logistics issues. Him and the other staff were lifesavers!!! Also good location for walking or ubering.

Room did have a little wear marks and scuffs on the walls. Nothing major and a non-issue for me.

Travelling for buisness this was a great location to Fonterra, Microsoft etc. Carpark right next door although didn't use. Countdown Metro just out the door and an amazing cafe William Cafe for great service, coffee and breakfast 3 minute walk away. Short walk to Viaduct to get you right in the heart of the action. Room warm and quiet compared to other city Hotels.

Travelling alone my Queen room size was adequate size although my room had no desk or area to work from which was not ideal and limiting. Didn't find a lot of places to get dinner close by.

The location is perfect for the viaduct (eating and drinking) or shopping Queen St but is far enough away (over the little bridge) to get a quiet nights sleep. Also a great selection of cafe's in the quarter to choose breakfast from if you are not eating at the Travelodge. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and easy to get to by car.

It was hard to keep the water in the shower contained within the shower area which saturated the floor mat. Not really a problem but maybe the glass doors need a rubber buffer at the base to prevent this so you are not washing so many towels.

totally gutted when we got our room and did not have the floor to ceiling windows advertised in nearly all of the photos on @booking..com. we paid extra for Marina view king but because our window was horizontal and not vertical we had to stand at the window to see the view. first world problem but really v disappointed. also fed up with not getting the rooms advertised on @booking..com

Location is the highlight. Very close to the harbour, high end restaurants etc. Calm and peaceful neighbourhood. Rooms are squeaky clean, silent and every thing inside the room was just at the right place. Nothing negative to point out

Just one issue I faced was with the check-in. I had to wait for 3 hours as the room was not ready yet. As this is a one-off case, I would treat this as a small glitch rather than a major trouble.

If you've ever stayed at a travel lodge in the UK, I can promise it you it was not like that. My partner and I thought we were going in for budget-style accommodation, however, upon further investigation, the hotel looked very new and clean. It was a very easy and professional check-in, the twin room we stayed in was spotless and the shower was amazing. It was a very comfortable stay and we felt right at home for the week that we were there. Additionally, as we booked through booking.com we got a large discount on the hotel for that time and we felt it was very affordable for the accommodation we were given. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room and facilities were great and we had an amazing stay there. The only issue was that at one point was my partner and I left a bag of toiletries in the bathroom close to the bin that was mistaken as rubbish and thrown out! (Only one or two bottles of shampoo.) Not ideal, but it was also on us for putting them so close to the rubbish. Just shows how onto it the staff are when you ask for your room to be tidied haha so this is a forewarning for anyone who may do the same!

Very happy with the location of the hotel & its proximity to a great choice of restaurants, a supermarket & the harbour which is home to dozens of luxurious yachts. Loved the walks round Viaduct Harbour. Very happy with our spacious very clean room & comfortable king bed with views of the marina & the city. The city lights at night from our room were beautiful. The Tuckshop next door to the hotel lobby was a popular & very busy option for coffee, breakfast & lunch. Only a short walk to the wharf for cruise embarkations or the city. Ticked all the boxes.

Fire evacuation at 11-30 pm one night was unfortunate but made for a good story.
