The property is walking distance to the Anaheim Convention Center.

The building is old and needs some updating. The door was hard to open and we had to shove the door open each time. The shower head was caked with hard deposits, so the water wasn’t coming out as much as it should have. The shower curtain kept sliding towards the middle and eventually we used our hair clips to keep the shower curtain from moving. The first night there was so much water on the outside of the tub that we had to clean.

Staying in Anaheim often means going to the Convention Center or Disneyland. For those, the Hilton and Marriott have the best access, but the Clarion Anaheim is a less expensive place to stay in almost the same location. The building is old, but not unpleasantly so. I liked the historical taste of the floors and pillars. The room furnishings are not bad, and the space is adequate. I especially appreciated the spacious desk (note that some rooms do not have desks). The staff was courteous, not excessive or lacking in service.

You get the best access for less than the next hotel, so sometimes you have to put up with it. There were no amenities like toothbrushes, razors, and the only thing there was soap and shampoo. The hair dryer is the oldest model I have ever seen. The controls are confusing, and when you finally turn it on, it roars and heats up, but no air comes out at all. The air conditioning system is large and works well, but the noise from the outdoor unit is extremely loud. Those who have difficulty sleeping should take measures to prevent this.

The staff was amazing! I also enjoyed the convenience of the hotel's location. My view was also amazing!

I wasn't used to not having a microwave in my room. Also, I found a couple of hairs that weren't mine in the bed. Also, the bed was too firm so I had trouble staying asleep. I wish the breakfast was a little less expensive, then I would have probably eaten there a few times during my stay. The price was about $17 for the breakfast buffet.

The staff were all exceptionally nice and professional. They greeted us enthusiastically when we checked in and provided a great experience all the way until we were smoothly checked out. The room was very comfortable. No frills space, but good views of the surrounding areas & the mountains. Could have stayed in the room! Has a nice pool and is in walking distance to Disney. About 2 decent size blocks away.

The facilities were dated and could use some updates.

The pool was great, staff was friendly and very helpfully. Room was clean. About 10 to 15 min walk to disney. Disney toy story parking was very close

Parking was not free and breakfast. Breakfast was not included on stay was extra 18 dollars per day per person, kids do eat free under 9 with an adult price. Rooms could us a little upgrade.

The staff were lovely, super helfpful, friendly, and kind; they gave me maps and advice and helped me get my laptop fixed when it broke. The room was massive, much bigger than I was expecting. The bed was so comfy and big, the desk in front of the mirror was helpful for putting on makeup, and the air conditioning (as a British person) was utterly wonderful. The view from the (huge, everything in America was so big haha) window was gorgeous. I came for Vidcon and though the hotel was much further from LAX and the main area of LA than I expected, it was about a 5 minute walk from the convention centre, which was very nice, and the Disneyland shuttle went from right outside the hotel which was also nice. The closeness of multiple restaurants was also good. The frog fountain was a delight.

The shower was very weak.

The amenities are pretty basic but good. Personally I don’t need much. There is a safe in the room if someone needs but no microwave, there is one in the lobby. In the lobby they also have a simple snack room with other minor things like medicine and what not which was cool but it required you to download an app to be able to purchase. Breakfast buffet was pretty good. I believe the hours were 630-1030a. May was our server and she was amazing. Generally the staff was nice. Parking on property was $20/day The room itself was not bad. King size bed and enough space for us as a couple.

Honestly it wasn’t that bad. Just a few of things irritated me. The sink faucet was hard to turn but the temperature changed nicely. The shower curtain wasn’t long enough and so it always opened when I was showering. The door to the balcony opened from what I saw but not ours lol it wasn’t needed but it didn’t open. WD40 the door haha The biggest irritation was the bed. It was HARD and uncomfortable. I had to sleep with a pillow under my lower back. The pillows were typical hotel soft pillows which isn’t my personal preference.

The location was fantastic. Close to the parks and great eating spots.

The breakfast personnel were very rude. Everyone else was fantastic. They made you feel very uncomfortable just getting the complimentary coffee. They do not let you sit in the huge unoccupied space in the breakfast area if you aren’t paying ridiculous price of 17.00 for a continental breakfast. You can easily walk to Denny’s and spend less for actual breakfast(which we did.)

The staff was great and the hotel was quiet. Also the location is pretty good.

The tub was not draining when I showered, so I ended up standing in water and washing my feet after I finished the shower. Besides the unsanitary part, it just set me back time wise for the morning. But staff did come out right away and fixed this issue!

Considering the age of the Hotel: It had been well maintained and for the most part renovated; with exception of the bath/shower and toilet area of the bathroom.

The closet area that had an ironing board also had a poll with hangers. I placed my clothes on hangers on the poll and it collapses It was connected by safety pins to a metal clip, Reported it to the front desk as I checked out.
