Very traditional apartment, renovated, but still had some old elements, we enjoyed that a lot. If you want a modern standard hotel, look somewhere else, because this is even more special than an ordinary hotel. The appartment was very big, had many rooms, the breakfast was the best breakfast in Italy, had everything you may need - ham, cheese, tomatoes, mozarella, croissants, bread, yogurt, nutella, juices, water bottles you can take, fresh fruit. There was also a fully equiped kitchen you could use. The hosts were very nice, helped us to get our luggage upstairs, explained everything. There is a terrace/balcony available for all the guests, where you could eat, watch the sunset and beautiful lake Como. The appartment is located in a small city of Torno, which is very beautiful, wasn’t crowded at all, like other bigger cities. Also the boat port was close and bus stop was near. Very beautiful views around the hotel, we even went for a walk uphill, very much recommend!
The rooms didn’t have a conditioner, but there was a ventilator, that you could use and the rooms were cold already. The location is good, but if you want to take a ship to Bellagio or Varenna, they go only few times a day, only in the morning. In the high season (we were there in July) the busses are full and it was a nightmare to get to and from the hotel, but that didn’t take away from the bautiful town or the hotel. The shower was a little small, but it wasn’t anything you couldn’t adjust to.

It is a lovely place to stay. Marco, the owner, has a great little restaurant and the breakfasts are delicious. We often ate out at their restaurant at night when lots of locals come - great food at a reasonable price. Torno is good for touring the bottom part of the lake.
Driving is generally very difficult with narrow roads all around the lake and few passing areas. Parking is also extremely difficult generally and around our accommodation. Sometimes I had to climb a steep hill and park a fare way from our accommodation. WOULD RECOMMEND NOT BRINGING A CAR

The breakfast was really good, the stuff was polite. The room was quite spacious, as well as our bathroom, and there were free drinks in the fridge in the room, which on that heat, was trully great! In the room, everything was quite old, but clean. The location is amazing and very beautiful, right near the Ferry station and 5 minutes to walk to the bus station. The view from the room is also very nice.
The mobile connection is a disaster, and we had no wifi. It was really really hot, especially during the night. There is a ventilator in the room, but it wasn´t soo helpful with that heat. But I guess that´s normal in summer. If you want to eat, there are not so many options in the village, you will probably have to go to Como. Still, for the price, I think it was a great stay.

This was our first stop in Italy and are super glad we chose Torno to stay in, its a quaint little fishing village and the perfect base for visiting Como and Bellagio and Bellano. We found parking every day no probs in the public carpark, you then have to walk down to the lakefront and the B&B. The apartment was massive and there was acess to a private balcony. But we mostly went to the owners bar and cafe mostly as the food there was great. The breakfast was also excellent! Marco was an excellent host and he stayed in contact with us
The only negative was the shower which was old and VERY small, especially for 2 XLs such as ourselves. If you are XXL, I suggest finding elsewhere to stay.

Loved Torno and loved my stay in this B&B. A mix of old charm and modern amenities in the bedroom furnitures and bathroom furnishings. The kitchen is fully-equipped, we did not cook but I wish I had made a meal or two! View of the lake and small pier from the beautiful terrace which is shared but practically was left alone to us. The included breakfast was very good compared to the room tariff. We also had lunch and dinner in the same restaurant and we loved the pasta and tiramisu.
I won't say I utterly disliked anything, however the door handle of the main gate was broken, several loose tiles on the bedroom floor, the shower was very small.

Absolutely authentic experience of a small village at the Como lake - I felt myself totally like visiting an old Italian relative in a weekend house Don't expect the hotel-chain-like comfort and utilities, but an astonishing view from the window, narrow old streets covered with stone, locals enjoying coffee or wine by the table next to you, and so on
The bed in the single-room apartment (not a family one) has an extremely soft base, which is not very comfortable for two Also although overall cleanliness was fine the floors were a bit dirty (which is observable through kids' socks :))

I rarely stay in BandB because I am treated like an intruder, not a guest. In BandB Deco we were welcomed with open arms. Breakfast was delicious and served with cappuccino. We got the second one for no extra cost. The square, where the BandB Deco is located, is like from the movie. You need to see it to believe it. Mostly locals. Some even drove their cars down and up the stairs. We did not have the lake view from the apartment but it did not matter because most of the time we spent in the caffe run by the owners. Wine by carafe was so cheap that we were sipping it all day. Do not forget to take advantage of the happy hour free aperitivo served between 5-7 pm. For half of a litre of wine we got a full plate of antipasto. We did not get so much even in Spain known for their free tapas. From the square you can take a ferry to other destinations like Bellagio or Como. Torno has many beautiful and old buildings, two churches and many little allies. Car park could be a problem on busy days like Saturday. We parked our car near the town hall commune car park. From there it was just a short walk down the stairs.
We did not mind it but the shower was rather small. This was not a problem for us at all.

The room was so roomy and comfortable. We loved it! It’s an old ( almost 160 years old) Italian house. Very cool! And spotless clean. The breakfast was a feast ! Ham, tomato, cheese, croissant, fruits, juice and coffee (freshly brewed as your choice ) And Marco helped us to get to the station to catch our train. We were so grateful! The whole family run it with love! We definitely will come back again and recommend to all our friends.

we liked Torno and this hotel a lot, it is small and very quiet, not busy and atmosphere was very relaxing. The room made a lasting impression on me. It is quite big, stylish and old fashioned with nice furniture and beautiful view out of the window. It was super great value for money. Our breakfast was simple, but nice. We also visited restaurant on the ground floor. It is also simple, but nice with good prices! It was easy to arrive at the hotel by boat. Next day we took bus to Bellagio, but there were other locations we could go to from Torno. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
A pillow was too big for me
