Stayed for two nights at the end of April 2023. Wonderful hotel in every way. Very manageable walk from Santa Lucia train station. There were 4 people. All with rolling luggage. Finding the hotel was not difficult, Google maps worked well with esim from Airalo. (Had google maps offline saved just in case). Very responsive, friendly, and helpful concierge/front desk. Hotel has elevator that was able to fit 4 people with luggage. Very clean hallways/corridors in the hotel. We had 2 separate rooms on the same floor. Both rooms were very clean. Each room had a private bathroom. Comfortable pillows and beds. Linens very clean. Bathrooms very clean, lots of towels. Showers worked well. No issues with the drains. No issues with the doors. Everything was closing, opening, locking, unlocking properly. Water pressure was good. Hot/cold water was working well. Toilets flushed well. Rooms had a nice smell. Plenty of outlets. The nights were still chilly at the end of April, so we didn't get to test out the air conditioners but they do have them. We actually opened our windows for a bit, for some fresh air. Maid service did a wonderful job. Concierge recommended a superb restaurant not too far from the Rialto (on one of the side streets) which we ate at twice. We were able to store our luggage at the hotel after check out on the day of departure until our train time. Location of the hotel is great in terms of proximity to the train station and ferrovia vaporetto stop. plus the walk to the rialto is very manageable and actually fun to walk through all the Venice streets. From the Rialto, the walk to St. Mark's Square is also very close. Location of the hotel was in a very quiet part of San Croce district of Venice. There was basically no noise outside. No bars or restaurants that would keep people up at night. Nothing like that. Also felt very safe on our walks home at night between 11-12 at night.

We didn't like that we had to leave Venice. We wanted to stay more :)

The customer service from Andrea at the front desk was amazing. He was attentive to all needs, very friendly, explained everything really well to us and in English. We were really happy with his service and advice. The room was a good size for 2 nights, the bathroom was also spacious. Good furniture in the room. The bed is a firm bed, so if you prefer soft beds I wouldn't suggest the one we had. The location is close, Venice is small so everything is close and we walked 20-25 minutes to San Marco. Gondola rides maybe a 3 or 4 minute walk away from our hotel. Overall, great experience.

No big deal but our toilet was noisy and would randomly make noises throughout the night so we just turned off the water in our room when going to bed, just an older building.

Great fun property, nicely located just on the edge of the main tourist sites in Venice. Central courtyard, stairwell and breakfast room had a sense of theatre about them, which carried on into the interior design and charm of the bedroom. Although make the comment below loved the room, and the overall look and feel of the Hotel. Staff were more than accommodating. Choice at breakfast was good, with lovely cakes.

We were given and upgrade from a Classic Double to a Superior Double, which on the face of it sounded great, but in reality the difference between both is that of a view into the courtyard or outwards towards the City. Whilst we did have a city view the double room was a tight fit, with really only one side of the bed accessible and the air-conditioning working overtime to little effect in small alcove at the end of the room. Room was still lovely would just question the term upgrade, as in truth, bearing in mind the same room is photographed on their own website as a Classic double https://www.hotelcazustovenezia.it/en/rooms/classic-double/.

The location is truly magical on a very quiet street and in an area just a few minutes' walk from the main alley connecting Santa Lucia Trains Station to Rialto Bridge/San Marco square. The staff is super friendly. The breakfast is excellent. Our room on the third floor had an attractive and cool design with a view of the rooftops of Venice and a sloping roof with exposed wooden beams. We had a great time at the hotel.

I would only improve a little bit the soap section of the bathroom. But it's really secondary to the overall experience at Ca' Zusto, which has been great for us.

Contrary to most Italian breakfasts, this breakfast buffet offered scrambled eggs and bacon as well. This was a delightful surprise for American travelers 😊. Easy access from water bus stop Riva de biasio. Can also access from crossing first bridge after train station. Safe area. Hotel is very colorful and staff is friendly and helpful. Bathrooms offer bidet.

Only fizzy water in refrigerator. Please add still bottled water.

Great friendly staff, good breakfast, good location - quiet area 10-15 minutes walk from the city center, exquisite interior design, fully renovated well equipped building, plumbing cleaned to a shine.

The inability to adjust the heating on our own - sometimes it was very hot in the room, the floor was dusty in the room, the terrible wall lamps in the room spoiled the refined interior. It is a pity that the work of the designer is not appreciated so much that they spoiled it with one ill-conceived detail.

The staff were universally excellent and helpful. The breakfast was also of a high standard. Once we had found our way around we valued the closeness of the railway station, the Vaporetto wharf 100 yards away, the quiet location and the great number of local restaurants.

Venice is very expensive. Being the cheap skates that we are we booked a basic room so it is not fair to rate an otherwise excellent hotel on this basis. Nevertheless, our room was small with a tiny shower room and very little natural light. If we were to visit again we would pay more for an upgraded room.

We loved this hotel so much, this was our second visit. The location is excellent, quiet but still with lovely bars and restaurants nearby and away from the busy tourist traps. Staff were welcoming, kind and attentive. Our room was comfortable, well air-conditioned, immaculately clean and refreshed daily. We hope to return again on a future visit and would highly recommend.

Being incredibly picky, I could only possibly complain that the room was quite dimly lit but then this was appropriately in keeping with style of the building and the shower could be more powerful - but I am really picky!

This is a very nice property - a restored classic Venetian building with ultra modern touches. The decor is what I would describe as "Modern Venetian." This is a good location for people arriving by train or airport bus since it is in easy walking distance from both the Santa Lucia train station and Piazza Roma bus terminal. I don't know how we would have gotten to other parts of the city if we had to transport our suitcases? Water taxis are very expensive and the vaporettos too crowded. A bit hard to find because there are no direct paths in Venice! Wonderful breakfast and excellet staff! You can walk to San Marco but it is a bit far but there is a Line 1 vaporetto station a few blocks from the hotel. If you venture out a bit (a little hidden) there is a nice piazza with a COOP grocery store, restaurants frequented by locals, and excellent gelato.

The only thing we didn't like is that when we returned to our room the second day it smelled strongly of either and air freshener of disinfectant. We mentioned this to the front desk the next morning and the third day it was gone.

Supeb, cosy hotel, not far from the station and Piazzale Roma and a Vaporetti stop (Riva de Biasio literally around the corner. Drinking water fountain outside. Quiet location but just a block down there were several nice but quite lively bars and restaurants and a couple of ATMS (wartch the 4EUR charge!). Breakfast were the usual affair and more than adequate. Nice oldy Venetian courtyard. (good for smokers too). Staff were very nice and helpful. A nod to Andrea who brought me a cup of tea to my room ant 11.00 at night at no extra charge. He aslo brought me breakfast as I had an early flight. Not a single grumpy member of staff that you normally get with hotels. They were all very friendly and helpful.

Lack of information in my room about the hotel itself or the immediate area and no map. (not a real problem as i had brought my own and had been to Venice before but if you're new to Venice then maybe). Therefore it wasnt clear if the small bottle off water that was daily stocked in my fridge was free or not. I assumed the former so used one. (I think the firs one is free). Normally I would just top up with the water fountains in Venice). However they weren't, they were 2.50eur. However they did waiver the charge so it was no big deal but would have been nice to have been informed.
