The rooms were very very clean and nice, pleasant to stay in. Signor Sergio was so nice that he upgraded our room for a bigger one at a higher floor, after the first night, for the next three. That was lovely. After our engagement/proposal day, Signora Marcella surprised us with a bottle of Prosecco that was waiting for us in the room. She was super nice and lovely, so helpful with everything and always attentive at breakfast to make sure we have everything we need. We feel like we made some friends in Venice! :)

The first room we stayed in at the ground floor had very thin walls and you could hear everything in the hallway and it was a bit small and dark so the upgrade was really welcomed by us, but overall, we don’t have anything else negative to say about it. Maybe some vegetables at breakfast could make it more savoury.

On a cold Feb weekend the room was lovely and warm. It was very easy to get around from this central location. It was very quiet and peaceful and we slept great. The hosts were kind and helpful and the room was cleaned daily.

There was a wooden partition between us and the downstairs hallway which sound travelled through. Not a major issue though as there are only a few rooms with people coming and going and generally very quiet.

Can’t say enough. Great location, just and clean. The owners are absolutely fantastic and very helpful. Both provided tips where to go to eat, how to get places. The breakfast was tasty and your catered for throughout. The room we stayed in was a great size, clean comfy bed. Don’t be put off by people saying you should stay in the tourist areas, La Croce was a great area. Anyway would highly recommend staying here

Nothing loved it all

We are a family of 4 (2 children and parent’s). We have been touring around Italy and this has been our best stay. The location is perfect, just outside- 13 min walk from some of the iconic sights. It really doesn’t get better than this Breakfast was amazing, intimate, and served with a lovely personal touch. We can’t sing praises enough. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Nothing- everything was perfect.

The room was very clean, everything we needed was there. The localization was very good, away from the crowds and noise but not too far from the center. For the first three nights of our five night stay we were assigned a room that was very small. However, they moved us to a bigger room on the second floor on the fourth day and it was wonderful. The breakfast was very good,the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The location is excellent, as it is quiet and close to the train and bus station; and you can reach all the sights very quickly on foot. The breakfast is good, all guests sit together in a small room. The hosts are particularly nice and go out of their way to provide a very good service.

You shouldn't expect a soft egg or ham and eggs; the breakfast buffet is richer when all the rooms are occupied. The room is small and it was next to the breakfast room

Extremely clean, great shower and the air con was a life saver! Marcella gets 5-stars - so lovely and friendly. Location was good - a little out of the way of the busy centre but easy to access and nice and quiet.

The room and facilities were basic. We were very comfortable but value for money could have been better.

The hosts of this B&B are excellent. Marcella and Sergio are accommodating and helpful. The chocolate croissants for breakfast were wonderful and the air-conditioner was quiet and worked fast to cool down the room and keep it cool all night. The location of this B&B is 10 minutes from the train station, less than 15 minutes from Piazzale Roma (bus station) and 20 minutes from St. Mark's Square. There is also a water taxi stop less than 5 minutes away which is convenient if you prefer that mode of transportation. We only used it once in six days.

For the first two nights of our six night stay we were assigned a room that was very small and uncomfortable for two people. However, they moved us to a bigger room on the second floor on the third day and it was wonderful. The kitchen where breakfast is served is a little cramped and cannot accommodate all of the guests at one time if all the rooms are full.

I can't say enough nice things about this place. I was a little apprehensive as I usually book big hotels, but we booked at the last minute. Note: this hotel does not have a bar or restaurant, it's more of a B&B, so don't expect that when you arrive. It has a small reception room where you have breakfast, and check in and out, and bedrooms. We arrived really late, and a person actually came out onto the street to greet us and make sure we knew where we were. They checked us in quickly and efficiently. Our room was a good size, with a double bed for us, and a single bed for our 7 year old. It had a wardobe, bedside lockers, and a little table with glasses. It had air conditioning. It had an ensuite bathroom which was new and absolutely spotless. The whole place is absolutely spotless. The room was cleaned and tidied for us each day, They even sweetly arranged our daughter's teddies for her on her bed, a lovely touch. Breakfast was provided in a smalll kitchenette downstairs. We had to wait for a few minutes as there was very little space, and other guests were using it. We didn't mind at all. More fussy travellers might not like that. We just asked if we could have a coffee in the meantime, and Serena gave it to us to have in our room while we waited. Serena, the manager/ owner was so lovely. She gave us lots of information about how to get around Venice, and we had lovely chats with her over breakfast. The hotel is located in a lovely quiet street around the corner from the oldest Trattoria in Venice, at which we had a drink one evening. It is about a minute's walk to the nearest water bus 'station', which was on the main route to the touristy areas like St. Marrk's Square and Rialto and just across the main canal was the night life of Venice. We were near enough to go and enjoy it but far enough away to get away from it back to the quiet streets of our hotel.

I can't say anything negative about this hotel. Everything was great.

Excellent in every way. The staff were lovely and went above and beyond to provide gluten free breakfast food for the coeliac. Breakfast was excellent all round. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Appreciated the included extras such as a safe, WiFi and air con. In a lovely quiet area with an authentic feel, 10 mins walk from the main train and bus stations and close to the vaporetto stops, and with supermarket, bars and restaurants all nearby. Highly recommended.
