I was a little worried about staying at this hotel after seeing the reviews. we got there at 3:30 and they had about 5 people at front desk. They were all friendly and helpful getting our rooms with friends on same floor. Our room was nice and clean. We did see security around and did not see homeless people hanging around or in the parking garage.

The hotels parking garage does look a little scary but we did not have any problems. They have a club in the hotel and only 1 elevator that goes to parking and rooms so in the evening it did take a while to get to the room.

10 minute straight walk to the convention center. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. They have usb plug ins. Have stayed here several times with no major issues.

No free breakfast or microwave in the rooms (which was I knew beforehand). The ice machine on our floor and at least one other was broken. The room is kinda dark even with the lamps on.

Breakfast was great although we thought it was complimentary it ended up be a buffet style breakfast for $13.95 each person!!

The location was great for our visit. Across street from WestEnd DART tram and busses. Was able to walk to the downtown area for restaurants but also used transit to get to museums, American airline arena, and Love Airport. The price for the room was a deal compared to surrounding hotels. The breakfast buffet was what one might expect for $15-coffees, pastries, eggs, cereals, fruits, hash browns, sausage, bacon, pancakes, waffles, etc. The bar was pricey for what we got in a solo cup. Front desk nice and helpful.

The area was a little scary to walk at night due to a heavy homeless presence asking for money or just yelling at us. We got stuck in the elevator, but when I called the front desk from my cell phone, they fixed it immediately. The bathroom was really small, with the shower and toilet being very crowded with not much room to turn around. The bedroom area was comfortable. I felt this property was not the normal level of what I've experienced at other Crowne Plaza hotels, but considering the price, we were happy with staying here..

I love this location. We stay here for multiple concert venues in Dallas, TX. The hotel has convenient access to the highway to get back home. And they have King Balcony Rooms.

The parking garage is a mess if you drive a truck. We scrape the top of the truck every time. We stayed in room 1035. This is a king balcony room. There were 2 chairs on the balcony but no table. For some reason this room didn't have a refrigerator. It had the spot for it but no actual fridge. The alarm clock had the wrong time but we don't use it so didn't mess with it. TWICE during the night the radio turned on at max volume! I can see if it was set for an alarm but TWICE, hours apart? My boyfriend uses an insulin pump and between these alarm clock incidences somehow his insulin pump was set to not deliver insulin. If you have a pump, this is lots of button pushing to achieve this. When we were getting ready to leave the phone rang one time.

It was a comfortable quiet clean room, nice hotel. Fairly close to the arts district and the AT&T Performing Arts Center but a little far to walk.The downtown area has some beautiful fountains and places to go but has really become a dirty place with a huge homeless population. The city needs to do something about that. This area has some really classy places but the homeless druggies make it a rough neighborhood that doesn't feel safe.

Way too many homeless people everywhere in the area. I was very glad the hotel had security.

Room was clean, functional. Basic. Does what you need it too. Location good for JFK site. A male cleaner was really helpful - went out of his way to help me out with some bits, I was very grateful to him.

Check in staff a bit nonchalant. Toilet in room is stupidly low - why?? An average size person would struggle with that, so no good for a tall person. Very weird. Fixed shower head is also unfriendly for anyone over 5ft 8 - actually hurts to stoop under if you'd like anything above your sternum wet. Gives you a bad neck/back if you'd like to wash your hair. Downtown area is a dump - didn't realise how bad until we got there. Homeless people around all sides of the building, nooks smell like a toilet when you walk past. Constant police presence outside by the dart station, doesn't scream safe...

Great location with walkable access to the 6th floor kennedy museum and also jfk memorial A number of tours meet at the jfk memorial so that was great Right next to the city tramway and bus terminal and also the Dallas aquarium Also a short walk to pubs and bars Takes about 15 minutes to walk to the American Airlines centre Breakfast included was sufficient and included hot and cold breakfast options

No in room safe so we had to use a sage deposit box behind reception

Very nice hotel. It has an air of sophistication and the staff are very accommodating. I felt as if I was the only guest. There is a nice rooftop pool. This is my second stay and I really enjoyed staying at this hotel.

I dont recall paying the $75 a day security deposit the first time I was here. It would have been nice to know about the $75 a day hold so my two days was a $ 150 deposit that takes 3 to 5 business days to get back. I paid online with booking.com for a hassle free check in. I definitely would not have booked that hotel if I had known that up front. But that did not deflect from the fact that it is a very nice hotel.

Hotel is a straight 10 minute walk to convention center. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Room had a mini fridge. We have stayed here several times for conventions.

Room was very noisy. Lots of traffic and drag racing sounds. Room doesn't come with a microwave. If you have a tall vehicle be sure to check parking garage clearance before using it is a rather low ceiling
