I loved pretty much everything about this hotel. First, the location literally cannot be beat. This is one of the first hotels built in Fira and, as such, is located on prime real estate. Other hotels are located on a cliff side and require you to walk up and down hills and stairs to reach the property or even your own room. Not so here! This is at the top of the hill so no stairs involved. It is also located very close to the bus stop and many souvenir stands and restaurants. Tours also pick up at or near the hotel. You can do Santorini by staying at this hotel. The breakfast was great with lots of variety. The hotel also gives you 2 free bottles of water EACH DAY which is great because you can't drink the tap water on the island. If that water isn't enough, stop by the hotel's cafe area and buy more which is super cheap and convenient since you don't need to rely on a stand or store to buy water. The pool area and breakfast porch also offer fantastic views of the volcano and sunset. You can watch the sunset right from the hotel, no need to go to Oia (but you can since the bus stop is so close!). Yes, the facilities are older (see above about how the hotel is one of the first) but this adds to the charm of being on Santorini. You really feel like you are in a movie. Highly recommend this hotel!

The location of this hotel was excellent. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Our room was spectacular. The pool area was so tranquil and the view of the caldera sunset was fabulous. This is one hotel that I wouldn’t hesitate revisiting or recommending. Outstanding.

View from the private balcony was exceptional. We were able to enjoy the magnificent sunset every day. It was like a sacred area where I had some quiet down time at night with the ocean, the sky, and the caldera. Location couldn't be more perfect. As for the breakfast, I enjoyed coffee(most important!) so much. Tzatziki, yogurt, and feta cheese were fresh and tasty.

Knowing that it's one of the oldest hotels of the island, a slow door key or old bathroom facilities wouldn't surprise me. But I think the towels must be replaced with new ones. Too old to be white any more.

The location was perfect, central to everything and bus station 2 min walk away which was main route around the island. so many choices of shops and restaurants 5min walk away. We had an amazing room and view from balcony was spectacular. all the staff were super friendly. breakfast was good and again with a great view each morning

it would of been nice if the room was slightly bigger as the bed was pushed against the wall. also showering was not a great experience as the shower curtain kept sticking. other than those rest was perfect!

The location is amazing at the beginning of the walking only area, the heart of Fira. The room with balcony is in front of caldera letting you enjoy every sunsets and they were amazing. There is a pool too if you want to stay in hotel for some reason. The staff is friendly and supportive (we had an issue with the bike far away from the hotel and the staff called the rent company for us helping us to fix the issue out), thank you so much.

Probably a little renewal on some furniture could be a plus in the future.

Awesome location and amazing breakfast overlooking the caldera. We had two amazing balconies in our room overlooking the caldera which was amazing. Super close to the main bus station too.

For the price paid, it would be nice to have a refrigerator to keep water cold in the room. A larger waste basket in the bathroom is also needed due to having to put toilet paper in it.

Location, location, location. The best place to enjoy Fira, the views of the Caldera and all of Santorini Island. Food, shopping and famous sites are all just a walk away. The local bus station to explore Oia or Akrotiri is just 150 meters away. Enjoy your morning breakfast on the balcony while watching the cruise ships arrive and the mules carry passengers up the stairs from the Old Port. We had a room with a balcony and could enjoy morning coffee there and watch the famous sunsets from our private balcony.

Breakfast was the same every day. Needed to be creative to make it seem different.

The staff were amazing and so helpful and friendly. The view and location was tops. I will be back.

The beds could have been a bit more comfortable and the room decor could have been a bit more updated.

Hotel has a lovely outlook, incredibly well located with Fira on your doorstep. Cleaners do a great job in the bedrooms and communal areas. Bedrooms were nice, lots of toiletries supplied, slippers and bathrobes too. All the staff were excellent, helpful and attentive. Pool also had a lovely outlook. We didn't use it as it was a bit cool at this time of year.

Bathrooms were fine and always well cleaned with fresh towels but are a bit dated and could do with modernising. Breakfast could do with more choices, for example there was no selection of yogurts and the prepared fresh fruit selection could do with expanding. The food warmer didn't keep the sausages, bacon and eggs particularly warm, and neither did the coffee machine (but a piping hot cappuccino was provided at request).

It was a decent size room. Close to restaurants so it made it easy to get food. Most everything is walking distance. The room had an excellent view. The staff was super nice. Absolutely stunning!

It was on the top of the hill so it hard to walk. My mother and I had to find less steep inclines. The hill is always crowded with traffic, so no cab wants to come up that hill. The wifi sucksss! Also, I don't know if its the housekeepers cleaning up, but there was loud banging randomly throughout the day and night.
