I forgot my Macbook Air at the reception. I called the Hotel in the evening and tha staff of the Hotel, especially Manolo, was very helpful. He found my laptop and kept it safe with him. Later on he managed to send it to me via UPS. I am so grateful that they saved my laptop.

The buffet is good, it's busy, so pick early times , but there is plenty of variety. The beach is on the doorstep and the kids loved the pool. Evening entertainment was fine. Our 6 and 8 year old kids were entertained with musicals, paddle boarding or just clay making. Staff are engaged but you need to go enquire to find out what's on.

Buffet is a bit noisy and busy but thats expected. We went in early and then went for a quiet drink at the bar area or sat outside.

The room was very neat and looked modern. The bathroom was a little more worn out but that is to be expected with so many people staying there. There was no bathtub and it was so much better that way, there was much more space to have a decent shower, good water preasure. The hallway lookd clean and modern, there is access to the pool area and beach at each end of the hallways via stairs (awsome idea). The hotel entrance /bar/ pool areas were nice l. The pool was small but there was no need for a bigger one since we were steps away from the sea. The beach right outfront was narrow but if you walk 3 minutes in any direction there are bigger ones and lots of space for kids to play. The best part was the restaurant. From all the ones we stayed in, this one had the best quality food. Less quantity than others but always fresh, lots of fish and fruits. It was never boring to eat there and the staff were incredibly hard working and very nice even when they were knee deep in dirty dishes. The people cleaning the rooms were diligent and very nice everytime we crossed paths, I trully apreciate everyone that works so much and still has a nice word to say to you and a smile. Nice size balcony and from our room 134 we could see the water wich was so nice to see every morning. The AC worked for the whole time we were there.

The walls between rooms have no isolation and we can hear everything. Don't go if you really need a great night sleep or ypur baby wakes up everytime someone makes a move. It really is the only thing I can say that I was not pleased with.

Food was excellent, lots of choice. We arrived late, after 11pm and were given a picnic box with sandwiches, fruit etc which was such a lovely idea as we were hungry and tired. Nightly entertainment was great too. Location ideal across from beach and walking distance to Salou. Bus to salou and cambrils goes every half hour just outside on the street

Hotel Augustus is an excellent hotel with the facilities, attractions and room quality. We felt at home with the breakfast especially as a Mediterranean taster, even fresh garlic was provided with any kind of tomatoes. Comfort of the beds is also to be indicated.

Just the soundproof of the rooms were weak, but nothing to worry with the perfect stay with Augustus.

Like the buffet style breakfast, lots of choice, although the dining room is very busy, unless you an early riser, maybe quiter! The pool and beach are, of course, great locations. Easy to walk to Salou, along the beachwalk, maybe 30/35 mins, depending on how fast you walk. Some restaurants and shops open, but last week, before it all shuts for the winter.

Entertainment is very loud, if you don't want to participate as it was in the bar area as the evenings are cooler last week. I prefer bigger feather pillows, these were thin. Parking can be an issue,especially in peak months. You could park across the road for €12.50 a day.

Unfortunately not all the staff speaks English Absence of vegetables for breakfast The cleaners ignored the sign "Do not disturb". They don't wait at least 30 seconds after knocking on a door, if you are nacked you don't have a chance to put your clothes)))

Excellent food. Room had like separate 2 areas for sleeping (separated by bathroom and wardrobe) and 2 balconies. Location is great: seafront, yet it is only 15-20 min a nice walk to Salou center. Plenty sunbends to have a sunbath or stay in the shadow. Friendly staff at the reception and restaurant. Animation during the day (especially zumba ladies and guys:)) and shows at night.

The "market" of counterfeited T-shirts, shoes, bags (NIKE, etc.) just outside the hotel teritory on the pedestrian zone and beach, but it is not hotel's fault.

The location is perfect, and the sea views are amazing. The rooms are very clean and as a bonus ours had double beds as opposed to two singles (which seems to be the standard for the hotels in Salou). The Breakfast buffet offers the same selection to all the major hotel chains in Salou and is of very high standard with a great selection of hot and cold food. The public areas are spacious, clean & well presented & the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The weather was especially hot for early May and it would have been nice to have the option to have cooler air-conditioning in the room but it seems to not be available in the late and early months of the year. (However, as we slept with the balcony doors open we did get to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach which was very pleasant).

This hotel is fantastic: everything is new and shining. Check-in process was very fast and we got a great room on the top floor with a sea view. Dinner was incredible: we expected an ordinary buffet dinner, but we were surprised by the choice of fresh seafood, meat, fruit, desserts. The beach is literally 30 seconds walk from the hotel and is great. There was some evening entertainment, but it was still quiet in the room and sleep quality was great. There is limited parking right next to the hotel, but there are free parking places around 5-10 mins walk from the hotel. There is also an option for paid parking nearby.
