The apartment was great! We stayed there for a month and enjoyed it the whole time. Everything was clean and the kitchen had everything one might need for cooking. We worked from there and the wifi was reliable and high speed. We stayed in the "comfort" apartment, which was big enough for 2 people, but no more than that. Everything was close by on foot- laundromat, grocery´s, bus stop to Barcelona or other cities, the beach, etc.

The only bummer was that the balcony faced the main road and we couldn´t enjoy a nice evening on the balcony because of the noise. We could have asked for a room that doesn´t face the road, but I only learnt about that after the stay.

The fact that there was no housekeeping as such - a change of towels would have been welcome. We disposed of our rubbish/trash and recycling ourselves quite happily. But towel change would have been a big one.

The place is almost perfect - very nice design, clean, cosy and comfortable. You have everything you may need at the apartment. The location is excellent - it took us only 20 minutes by foot to get to Portaventura and 10 minutes to go to the beach, where there were a lot of cafes and shops.

You have to pay extra for towels and bed linens - it's weird. Also, we were fined 20 euros because we didn't wash the dishes, but nobody had told us we needed to do it during check-in. otherwise the place is very lovely, but these two things are very unusual for the apartment rent.

We stayed at this hotel for 12 days and it exceeded our expectations. Very new and clean apartments. Inside there was everything necessary for a long stay. There were even coffee makers, toasters, blenders, etc. in the kitchen. Ideal location, beautiful cozy pool surrounded by greenery. Very quiet inside the hotel, very polite staff, ready to help at any time. I would give it a 10, but there was one caveat. Read below). We rented bicycles directly at the hotel and it was convenient for cycling. I recommend it.

There is no washing machine in the room and there is no laundry service in the hotel. There are commercial laundry services nearby, but this is not very convenient when you need to wash one or two things, which often happens when you are on vacation at sea. I would definitely give this hotel a 10 out of 10 if it at least had a general laundry service for all guests. Well, of course, it is better to provide washing machines in the rooms.

The €100 deposit (which you can get back) is not clearly advertised before booking. I did know about the sheets and towels supplement plus city tax extra charges but if they were all made a little more clear up front then I think it would make a better experience (and help out the staff who I also witnessed having to explain extra charges to customers who weren't too impressed) I am a light sleeper - and my room was adjacent to 2 quite busy roads. Bring ear plugs if you are light sleeper.

Lovely staff, very accommodating and kind. Fully equipped kitchen and great coffee machine. Close to all local attractions and well connected by bus if you wish to visit places further away. Heating system working very well (we visited in April so needed the heat as opposed to the air conditioning). The shower was great and the hot water came out almost instantly. Clean and smelling fresh. Great WiFi. Large balcony. Gorgeous pool although it was too cold when we visited to use it.

The fact a clothing iron was not available in the room as standard and had to be ‘rented’ for a 20 euro returnable deposit. Most other apartments have this appliance included as standard and would be a great addition if management would include this. The pillows are quite flat and a tad hard. 3 pillows (for 2 guests) included as standard but an additional one was provided promptly upon request.

This hotel is extremely good value for money. The staff were very helpful and polite. Amine helped me check in to my room early after a morning flight, no questions asked, which was most appreciated! The rooms are lovely - spacious, light and modern. The blackout curtains were also great as I'm a late sleeper. I absolutely loved the balcony and spent most of my time between there and the wonderful pool. Everything was very clean, including all common areas. I loved this hotel so much I was looking at when I could return before I even left!

My only request would be a long mirror somewhere in the apartments - only a bathroom mirror available

Lovely modern apartments, well equipped. Great location and the pool was clean and spacious. Staff are very friendly and helpful, too!

I think that the linen and the towels should be provided in every room at no extra charge. Another downside was the loud karaoke style entertainment at a nearby resort - so loud that we could hear it every night! Thankfully it stopped at 11:15pm but nevertheless- it would have been nice to be able to relax on the balcony without having to listen to someone butcher Culture Club. Not much Ancora can do about this of course which is a shame as it affects their guests, too! It would also be nice to have some more breakfast options, but the rooms are well equipped so I suppose you could just make your own every day.

We are travelling as a family and have stayed in Ancora also know as les Dailies we have lost count but must be 14 times. We love it as it is spotless, close to everything and staff are very friendly and helpful

We love how the air conditioning is so good coming from a cold country we struggle with the heat so its lovely to come back into a lovely cool apartment at night.
