The location was perfect. Very close (walking distance) to Puerto Banus. Lots of great restaurants nearby. The staff were amazing. Very accommodating and go above and beyond to make your stay exceptional. The hotel is very customer service oriented - they check on you often to see if you need anything. The two pools were fantastic. The water was very cool and refreshing. The pools were not crowded at all, it was very easy to find sunbeds. Plenty of free parking spaces available to park your car if you want to rent one. The rooms were very nice and spacious. The balconies had a great view of the pools - and the best part is you can’t hear the dj by the pool when you have the window shut, so you are never disturbed when you need some peace and quiet.

The only negative was because it’s a new hotel, some taxis did not know where to go, however we found that if we said “next to Casino Marbella” they knew exactly where to go. Because we stayed so soon after they opened, some facilities and services were not available or fully running yet such as the late night room service.

Overall hotel look from the front and reception is very nice! Staff at check in/out and poolside were fab!! Both pool areas are very nice, poolside drink service was spot on! DJ playing at the pool area during the day was brilliant!! Wish we had spent more time at the pool area! Brilliant location! We only spotted the underground tunnel that takes you under the motorway and to the beach front on the last day! Will know for next time!

We should have upgraded to a pool side view. I think that side of the hotel would have been a better view! Slight sewage smell from the vent above the door as you walked into room.

Overall, I liked the hotel. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help! The breakfasts were very tasty (for those on a diet, you can put together a quite healthy breakfast with vegetables, tuna, and gluten-free bread). I'd like to mention the delicious croissants :) The pool area was always clean, everything was stylish, and modern music played. Our room had a window facing the pool, so I really enjoyed spending evenings on the balcony.

The only thing I didn't like was that the rooms need renovation. When we took a shower, water leaked onto the floor (a gap in the shower door). Also, some tiles were broken, there was a strong smell of alcohol in the room, and dust. Perhaps the condition of the rooms is the only downside, but it's not so noticeable when you immerse yourself in the hotel's atmosphere.

Only thing I'd say , we got an Uber from Airport Malaga on our way to Hotel..through toll and all and charge was just 70 euro. Taxis outside hotel charged 105 euro from Hotel Hard Rock , To Malaga Airport not through toll. I'd really download app for uber and not use Taxis out side hotel..they are really ripping people of ..that was a 35euro difference

No showers available to use on the day you leave unfortunately. It was also a requirement to leave a deposit upon check in of €750 which wasn’t mentioned until you check in. It’s a pretty substantial deposit. It can be used to offset the price against drinks and food in the hotel but still it’s an expense you need to consider in the price.

Loved how clean and fresh the hotel is! The staff were fantastic and helpful. The ambience of the place is incredible given the memrobilia and classy feel.

Hotel isn't fully open yet, therefore atmosphere lacks a little. Once it's fully open it will be electric. Evening dinner, again due to not being fuly open felt a little dull and the limited menu was disappointing. I might be wrong but I didn't see that it wasn't fully open when booking on the site.

Pool area was very clean. Pool bar staff were very friendly, helpful and service was quick. Cocktails were delicious.

Shower drain was blocked and bathroom flooded on first day. This was fixed quickly, however there was a nasty smell from shower drain. Breakfast and dinner had a lot of options, however as a vegetarian I found it very hard to figure out what had meat or what was vegetarian friendly. Would recommend signs with further info for dietary requirements and especially allergens. Room was very small. Booking.com stated there was no TV in our room and sent an automated upgrade email to get a better room with a TV. Didn't upgrade but then our room did have a TV (Booking.com error I presume)

This hotel is stunning! So cool! From the moment you arrive you are made to feel so welcome. The lobby is amazing and the artwork and artefacts around are really interesting. The pool is the show stopper outside. Walking to Puerto Banus harbour takes about 10-15 minutes and if you don't feel like walking back, its between 5 and 10 euros for a taxi.

At many other hotels that I have stayed at this year, you can connect to your own Netflix account to watch movies. Hard Rock Hotel does not provide this and you have to pay for a movie from their (fairly limited) catalogue, prices are either 10 or 12 euros.

The staff were very attentive at all times and in all areas. The bedroom was a reasonable size, clean, well maintained and the large bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent and in a great location along side the large swimming pool. The decor and Rock music vibe in the public areas was as I expected - very good.

The music played constantly at the swimming pool was a monotonous mix of various songs of different genres ( very little actual rock) blended with techo dance stuff by a DJ. I expected certain amount of this and although not to my taste, was prepared to put up with it. However, what I did not anticipate was that EVERY SONG, EVERY TUNE PLAYED all day long was blended with this DJ techno beat. Surely a little variety wouldn’t be too much to expect. Long live real rock music - the music played did not fit in with the rock vibe throughout the hotel, great guitars and star costumes etc.
