King sized bed was more like 2 double or super single beds joined together, which was awesome for us. The location was great, walk to 3 convenience stores, mins to metro and mins to dotonburi. Went to dotonburi every night we were in Osaka. The laundry room was great but don’t trust the “status” on the TV. Many times we checked and they were supposed to be empty but it was a case of other guests’ laundry not being removed. The laundry has a locked system (which is great) but it means guests don’t have to be as prompt with collecting their laundry.

Housekeeping wasn’t great. They didn’t clear the rooms as well as other hotels we’ve stayed in. We have kids who tend to make a mess. The night before they spilled some popcorn and we realised housekeeping didn’t even bother vacuuming it the next day. Front desk immediately rectified it after we highlighted it. Thumbs up to front desk for picking up housekeeping’s slack!

Excellent location, excellent walking distance to restaurants, shops, train station. Excellent Roof top onsen, highly recommend trying. Very relaxing. We stayed 2 nights in a queen room, it was on floor 3 and didn’t have must light and was very hot. We decided to stay an extra night and booked a king room on a high floor which was excellent. Nice and light, nice views and could open the window for fresh air. Definitely recommend.

Could have been cleaner however was acceptable. Lots of marks on the carpet and dust. However bathrooms were very clean and fresh bedding and towels were of a good standard. Breakfast room has a canteen style feel about it, very noisey and not very relaxing.

The location is very nice. Close to everything. The Skyspa is also a nice touch, especially after a long day exploring the city - cold winter air hitting your face in an open air Onsen at the top floor. There are free lockers to use near the lobby, even though it's probably easier to just leave your luggage with the lobby.

The room is rather small. There's no shelf or drawer or anywhere to put our clothes. We are a family of 4 and we ended up getting 2 rooms. The nearby station is not to far, but still quite a distance if you're carrying a lot of luggages. Getting taxi to the airport can be expensive, was quoted around ¥25,000 one way.

Good location, but in the night/bar area district!

Too many Korean Tourist in this hotel while we stayed 4 days here, they talking loud and less manner in hot spring area.

Hotel location was very close to Dotonbori area (shops, restaurants, the famous Glico sign, etc), walking there was about 5 minutes. There are also many Japanese restaurant behind the hotel. Getting to train station was also easy. If you are moslem and looking for halal food you can these restaurant near the hotel: Osaka Panga, MOMO's Cafe, NaritayaOsaka, Cafe Bintang (Indonesian Food). Room is Japanese standard size so if you are 3 person with big luggage, room can be a little cramped. Hotel also have coin operated washing/drying machine (you can change coin in the reception desk) an do your laundry at 5:00am, yes.. that is the non busiest washing time. Hotel also have separate spa for man and woman. Breakfast was buffet of western and Japanese food, which was nice to have. The staffs were giving us great assistance during our stay, they also help us to send our luggage to our next trip in Tokyo. Thank you to all the reception staff!

We wish that the hotel have more washing/drying machine. We we're checking every hour if there was an empty machine but sometimes the other guess just did not take their laundry immediately after the washing is finished.

The location was amazing, but that’s what you are paying for right? The staff was the true highlight of the stay. Our Shinkansen was cancelled due to the New Year’s earthquake. The staff helped us call our next hotel and figure out a different route. Excellent customer service.

Our room has 2 full size beds (slightly bigger than twin). It will be perfect if there’s just 2 of us. Unfortunately for a family of 4, it was too crowded. If we had known ahead of time, we will have either booked a hotel further away from Dotonbori or 2 rooms. Another thing - the rooms do not have a cupboard or drawers or shelves. If you have lots of clothes to hang, this can be a problem.

Candeo was an amazing hotel experience. Everything from amenities to location and staff, our overall stay at Candeo was very memorable. The location of the hotel was perfect. A Family Mart across the street, 5 minutes to the closest station, 10 minutes walk away from Dohtonbori, and 15 minutes walk to Don Quijote. I couldn't have asked for a more prime central location in Osaka. 🙌 The staff at Candeo Hotel were not only very friendly and professional but also exceptionally helpful throughout our stay. All our questions and enquiries were all answered. Even with our little Japanese, English was never a concern, and communicating was an ease. As an added convenience, the staff helped provide easy luggage transportation service to our next destination, which made our transition to the next hotel seamless. Their commitment to guest satisfaction truly enhanced our stay at Candeo Hotel. Shoutout to all the hardworking staff 🙌 👏 Amenities were also provided and replenished on a daily basis, not needing to worry about towels, bottled water, and bedding was a luxury. For relaxation and unwinding after a long day of exploring Osaka, the hotel offered a complimentary spa on the top floor, and it was an absolute highlight of our stay. The serene atmosphere and the breathtaking views from the spa made it the perfect retreat. The view overlooking the city from our floor was also breathtaking. It was a sight that left a lasting impression on us and made our entire experience at Candeo Hotel exceptionally memorable. I highly recommend Candeo Hotel Osaka Namba, I will most definitely return in the near future !

Lack of vending machine variety. Was a little underwhelming when looking through the options for sweet drinks and refreshments. Was hoping to see some fun little gachapons. Wifi was a little spotty at times. The speed was good enough to browse the web and check maps but had problems streaming videos at times and wasn't as reliable as hoped.

Staff are very friendly & helpful, was quick and easy to get checked in. Lots of guests at this hotel so it is very busy, staff does very well to accommodate. Hotel room was very clean and had a lot of space. Hot spring was great, large facility to fit lots of people. On ground floor they have free self-serve luggage storage and lockers which you can use after check-out, be sure to do this earlier in the day as they do fill up quickly.

Not the hotel's fault as I didn't realise this was such a large and busy hotel, lots of bigger groups and families were here during our stay so it wasn't as relaxing as I expected. Washing machines were pretty confusing to use even with the instructions, we weighed our clothes according to the instructions but they were still damp after 2 dryer cycles. Ended up hanging them in the room to dry so not end of the world but still wasted time & money on the dryer.

Rooms are decent. Comfy beds. Clean sheets. PJs fit all sizes. Roof top spa is nice. Good amenities. Front desk reception is wonderful. Helpful and kind. Laundry room is good option. Buffet breakfast is good option. Location near trains and shopping area and Dontonburi. Great local massage salons nearby.

King size room was kind of small. If you have several pieces of luggage, there will be limited walking room. Bathrooms are tiny. Cannot have two adults stand inside at the same time. The room service did not do what it was suppose to - no door tag means eco clean (towels and trash ONLY) but they always full clean anyway which can be annoying if I already have my things placed where I want them to be. Laundry and roof top spa is frequently crowded and have to wait. Location is busy but has shady nightlife.

Candeo Osaka Namba was a perfectly good hotel during our 3-night stay in Osaka. We had a 14th floor room- the city view was incredible and the street noise was relatively low, especially given that this area is one of the busiest and nightlife filled. We did not hear any noise from adjacent or upstairs rooms. The bed was HUGE, the bathroom was clean and functional, and the thermostat was responsive. Also loved the headboard electric plugs. We did not end up having breakfast or using the onsen facilities, but we saw many people who did. We greatly appreciated staff leaving clean towels and supplies hanging on our door despite our "do not disturb" sign being up. Front desk staff was extremely helpful at coordinating luggage forwarding. This was a great hotel with a great location and amenities, and at a reasonable price.
