1. Location: close to station and 7-11 2. Provide free soba from 9:30-11pm which is super yummy 3. The staffs are helpful 4. Delicious breakfast

I have stayed at the same hotel chain in Kyoto which was 10/10. That’s why I came to book this one in Osaka but the experience is so different and a bit disappointing. I would only rate this experience a 6/10 1. The staffs are not very friendly and welcoming 2. Hotel lobby level 1 area is relatively small and crowded 3. Onsen options are limited (as compared with the one in Kyoto) and the cleanness in onsen public area is concerning

Free ramen, hot coffee, public bath, ice cream daily. Water station at ground floor. Friendly staff. Excellent location which is close to train station and within walking distance to dontoburi

No staff to regulate patrons entry to public bath - there were people with tattoos who entered despite it is forbidden. The laundry is a joke - while it is free to wash, we pay to dry which is fine but I paid 200 yen for 40 minutes and set my timer. When I went back to the laundry some jerks took all my clothes out and placed them on top of another washer and I had to use another dryer to dry. It is a bit of an honesty system and I guess I had bad luck but the hotel should put some measures to prevent this from happening.

I expect they have more different kind of onsen pools but apparently only 3 pools. The thing I dislike the most is, they don’t allow people with tattoos to enter the onsen. I know it is Japanese culture for no tattoos allow in onsen but this is an onsen hotel in which tourists pay because they would like to enjoy onsen and I believe many customers like me with tattoos and we would don’t many to pay premium to enjoy the onsen!

The location of the hotel is very strategic - very close to Kuromon Market and Dotonbori. The nearest metro station is only a few minutes away by foot. It is also close to the Namba Station. The room is very clean and the facilities including the onsen are very clean too! The bed is very comfortable. We really enjoyed the onsen, especially the outdoor design pool. Complimentary probiotic drink and ice popsicle after onsen are plus points too. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had to take off our shoes every time we entered the hotel. It's most likely because the whole hotel is lined with tatami. Slightly inconvenient but still okay. Room size is small.

Excellent traditional Japanese rooms with futon. Onsen style baths were excellent. A new experience bathing with others. Men and women baths were segregated. Lots of free food…breakfast was really good. A full Japanese breakfast experience. Would definitely recommend. Located close to shops, convenience stores and the subway.

It could get really busy and loud sometimes in the dining area.

Similar to their sister hotel in Kyoto, though it is a much smaller area. Onsen is a simple 2 heated bath, one cold bath and sauna. Still good enough as we can use it everyday. Fantastic location! Near everything in Osaka (except Universal Studio)… we even walk to Osaka Castle!!

Smaller than Kyoto and breakfast spread not as good… but given its accessibility to Dotdonburi and Kuromon market, not having breakfast in the hotel is not an issue

Location facilities

Breakfast : some food (fresh tomato) ran out but they did not fill it up. Maid: They are very nice and kind but some of them (especially the non- Japanese staff) need to be aware of their personal hygiene , such as using deodorant.

I unfortunately couldn’t use the spa because I have a few small tattoos. would’ve been nice to experience that side of the hotel and utilise the facilities I paid for.

Love the service, facilities & location! Eventho the hotel is always crowded but the service is awesome! The breakfast, supper & onsen is simply awesome!

i think the tatami can be cleaned better. The tatami in the room & hotel is slightly dirty, our socks is always dirty after using it for the day in the hotel.

The Onsen, the location, the free night ramen and ice blocks. Less than 200 meters from the famous Dotonbori, a lot of good restaurants around the corner.

The room is a bit small, but it is normal in Japan as a standard twin/double room. Comparing to the hotel we used in Tokyo and Kyoto, the cleanliness was below my expectation especially on the first day.
