The location is absolutely amazing and the staff are really helpful. The rooms are a good size and there are now mini coin laundries on some of the floors. We could also do late check out for 2000yen which was really helpful as we had a late flight.

The air conditioning through the hotel is way too hot- it felt like we were on fire (this was during December so it was cold outside). We were also charged for sending our bags forward with Yamato Transport- it was only a small fee but I have never been charged before...

The hotel seems as a “better hotel”. The interior is kind of beautiful. Room was good size and bath tub was relatively big compared to the majority of Japan hotel rooms. If you want to be in Shinsaibashi it will be tough to find as good hotel as this with the price.

The smoking room is located in the entrance level where also the reception is located, but only 1 person can use it at a time and others will have to wait their turn. Breakfast was really closed sharp at the time it said, but I wasn’t allowed to finish my breakfast and had to leave the restaurant. The staff didn’t seem to speak English (at least the one’s I spoke with). However I can speak Japanese relatively decently, so this was not a problem, but worth noticing.

The staff is so welcoming and helpful. They are responsive on chat messages. The lobby smells so fragrant. Room is exceptionally clean and size is big for a usual japanese hotel room. Staff cleans our room and provides new and clean towels every day. Shampoos and body soap smells good and they refill it every day. All amenities are readily available at the lobby so don’t bother to bring any amenities when you go on vacation and just pack light. After check-out, staff are nice enough to keep are luggages while we do last minute shopping but they can only keep it for a day. Location is very near shinsaibashi shopping street and just a walking distance to dohtonbori. There is a family mart just beside the hotel which make it so convenient. It is also very near Shinsaibashi train station just 4 mins walk.

The location is fantastic and the outside and the entry are so impressive. The entrance hall smells incredible and is so classy, we loved returning to it each evening. The location is really close to the action of Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori / Namba. We could walk everywhere on an evening that we wanted to be. The room was clean and had everything we needed, air con was great.

The room was really small to move around with all our bags and only two coat hangers in the wardrobe so we couldn’t hang much up and we were there for 6 nights. But small is to be expected on our budget and the great location :)

LOCATION This is a great hotel, about 3min walk from the Shinsaibashi metro and located in the popular Shinsaibashi shopping district. Also easy to connect to Osaka main station. FACILITIES/STAFF Plenty of amenities available in the hotel lobby if you need them such as lotions, fresh face towels, teas, coffee etc. There is a convenience store next to the hotel open 24/7 for all you late night or early morning snacks. Clean hotel with welcoming staff. ROOM Brilliant and typical of Japanese standards offering lovely bed, kettle, fridge, TV and private bathroom. Comfortable.

The only criticism I have is that there is no natural light into the room. Our room had a window to an indoor courtyard.

The location: less than 400m from the hotel is the entrance to an underground mall that leads to places like the subway and shinsaibashi-suji shopping street and dotonbori. The hotel: beautiful, close to cafes and they offer amenities like coffee and tea sachets, soap etc at the front desk that you can take anytime. The staff: super friendly and accommodating. They offer daily cleaning services 10/10. Will definitely stay here again.

Room size is small-ish, but this is expected. They are big enough for two people + 3 huge luggages.

The hotel is pretty nice, the facade is antique but very well-maintained and looks like a castle, same for the interior. They offer a lot of cosmetics for customers. The personnel at the reception speak good english and were very nice. They have a machine to exchange money for yens, which was very convenient for us. The location is great, very close to Dotombori and the metro. Great price for a very decent place. We only wanted to sleep there while on transit, so it was very convenient.

The room is very small, as it is common in Japan. I told the reception that the top of some furniture in the room was not cleaned properly and full of dust. Also, our reservation included breakfast, but it is a very bad and basic breakfast.

As pretty as the photos and very well-kept. Building is large and prominent and easy to find. Prices are affordable and the twin bed room can fit two adults and two luggages comfortably. Quiet and there is a Family Mart within walking distance and Shinsaibashi is accessible just steps away and a morning breakfast place, Coffee Kan is just across the hotel. Delicious and comforting coffee and breakfast. Shinsaibashi station is a few minutes walk away and connects to Umeda station and other major stations. Loved the location, it was accessible yet away from the hustle and bustle of the Dontobori area. A lot less hectic.

Only qualm we had was the fact that the TV was installed across the sofa, and not across the beds so we couldn’t watch TV clearly.

- smoking rooms that are clean, spacious, and do not have a lingering smoke scent (I stayed in a queen), you would not know it was a smoking room as the air filtering is fantastic -fantastic location for shinsaibashi - very good shower water pressure -beautiful hotel; very picturesque inside and out - I would stay here again in an instant! -very friendly and professional staff -incredibly comfortable beds and pillows -usb charging ports beside bed in Queen rooms - very quick elevators

-I stayed in two seperate rooms; queen smoking, and moved to a double non-smoking as smoking rooms were booked out -Definitely book a queen size as the smallest as a double room was a tad too small for even 1 person. - The lobby smoking section does not open until 10am (but lots of very good smoking cafes around). -would be nice to have (hidden area) outside patio area for smoking if you purchase breakfast -very small lobby smoking room that can only accommodate 1 at a time -bathroom lighting very dim; almost impossible to see yourself in the mirror in the daytime
