Clean, friendly, quiet - it even smelled amazing!! Also so convenient with giving you pyjamas, towels, slippers, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, Q tips, and with PowerPoints and USB ports right next to the bed. Service was so good and communication was excellent.

I only have two complaints - like the other reviews the foam mattresses are overused and sag in the middle so weren't comfortable to me even though I'm used to sleeping on the floor. The other inconvenience is that noise travels VERY easily - even dropping something on the ground by accident can be heard in every room. When people were checking out in the early hours of the morning, or had alarms going off - it can be heard by all.

The room size is pretty good which provided ample space for luggage and backpack as well. The side table and chair also provides a horizontal place for laying out personal items . Love the shared lounge around the reception area which is great place to meet and chat with fellow travellers, work, and for light cooking or heating up meals and hot beverages. I found the property to be very clean, quiet and cozy with common amenities provided for travellers. It's located about 600m from Shinsaibahi Station which has elevator and escalator access to stree level (helpful if you're travelling with luggage). The property is also a short walk to Shinsaibashi Shopping street, Semba Centre, Dotonbori area and Osaka Castle as well. If you're planning to do some work while, travlelling, there is a co-working space in the next building. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Everything works. Nothing that i didnt like.

My room was very comfortable and pretty much everything in the hotel is very clean and in great condition.

I arrived early, so I had to wait to check-in, but they wouldn't let me wait in the common area. I thought that the common area was somewhere upstairs with access to the rooms, so it kinda made sense then. But later I realized that it was right next to the front desk, and even though they had already checked my passport and reservation, and even thought I wouldn't have access to the rooms, they still wouldn't let me wait there. First time this has ever happened to me in the 29 countries I've been to. Apart from that, everything else was great.

A great location, less than 30 minute walk to Dontonburi and between Hommachi and Shinsaibashi station. The private room was clean, spacious and comfortable. There was a desk, small cupboard and tv inside the room which were nice touches. The shared bathroom had additional toiletries and was cleaned regularly by staff. The staff were friendly and I would stay there again if I visit Osaka again in the future.

My only complaint would be no signage in the shared bathroom about keeping noise levels to a minimum at night. Other guests were using the hairdryer as late as 2am and as early as 6:30am in the morning and as the bathroom is right next to the dorm, the noise travels through to the rooms and affects your sleep. I’ve stayed at various hostels, shared houses and they have always had signage so this was a first.

what i love about this property is that they don’t just focus on aesthetics, but also cleanliness and practicality. i like that they offer slippers that you take off before entering, and the pjs with the bag. i also love the makeup section in the women’s area, i think it’s equipped well with products that women would use to get ready. it’s very thoughtful. i also love the common area in the all women floor as well.

i feel like this property could benefit by adding signs to tell guests to clean up after themselves after getting ready. sadly this should be a given, but during my stay, the other guests would leave traces of hair in the sink, shower, and wouldn’t even clean up the splashes of water on the counter. everyday the common areas are cleaned well but people do use the common areas more often of course.

Cleanliness was the best, showers and toilets were immaculate and my room was cleaned on the third day. I was able to get clean towels daily which was awesome just had to take the dirty ones to reception to exchange for clean. Good location, walked about 20mins to Dotombori and the main shopping area Shinsaibashi. Close to the Metro and only a couple of stops from main stations (Umeda, Osaka)

The mattresses were very thin, it was hard to get comfortable on them I'd wake up every night. The toilet stalls area is open so everyone can hear you go to the bathroom, not the most comfortable situation.

It was mostly very clean, the capsules offer more space and comfort than I would have expected. Considering the price and location it’s a very good deal! It’s quiet and a relaxed atmosphere; the staff was very friendly and it was possible to leave luggage after checkout for the day. Would recommend for a short stay in central Osaka!

If you came at the wrong time, the bathrooms were not always clean (which is more due to other guests who don’t clean up hair etc. after themselves and not due to the cleaning standards of the hotel). The kitchen could have been a bit better equipped compared to other capsule hotels I stayed in.

When you pay for this hotel, you're getting comfort at a decent space all by yourself. The place was perfect for my solo travels to Osaka, and its close proximity to the Dotonbori area really gave me time to view the city as much as I'd liked. The train station to Hommachi was really close too, making it inexcusable for any traveler to go around the Osaka area if it were not for time. The beds also made it feel very at home, with the futon layout and little bedside table making it very comfy for sleep. All in all, a nice place for a nice price that's close to where I wanna be.

My room was closed off by essentially a single latch door made with paper. If you were to leave your room, I'd advise to lock up your belongings safely in your bag before heading out. Also, since the rooms are close to each other, you are likely to hear the noise of your room neighbors around you, so a pair of ANC headphones would probably help out here before nodding off to bed.

I like that for being a hostel you still get your own private space. I loved how clean the place was everywhere, and the lockers provided.

Even though there were signs everywhere about noise level, and not slamming doors, other guests did it constantly, all the way up until 2am. As well as throwing their bags and items and making noise any way they can, the rooms are definitely not sound proof, even though Atarayo advertises that on the listing. I also didn't like that I couldn't figure out how to listen to the TV in my room. I plugged in the provided headphones into the wall outlet, but no sound. The TV seemed to be programmed to not produce sound, so maybe there isn't a way to listen to it, either way was a bummer. Also the curtain door doesn't go all the way down to the room, so there is a flood of light from the hallway all night long, so bring an eye mask.

Such a great spot. Close to multiple stations. Walking distance to Dotonburi and Namba. Markets 5 mins walk. 7/11 doors down. Staff great. Accommodation comfy. I stayed twice. First time was in the medium sized capsule, had a little wardrobe, desk and ladder to top bunk. The 2nd stay I had a premium room with a nice thick mattress and space for my suitcase.

I didn't like hearing people blow-dry their hair. It would usually start from 10pm. The latest i heard someone blow dry their hair was at 1am. I think from 11 blow dryers shouldn't be used. It was actually annoying. This was the only annoyance and I woul still stay again.
