The location is splendid to explore Namba Walk, Kurumom Market and other areas near the place. I had a great time enjoying the Chicago Gallery during the stay. The room with no view may be small but rather cozy in a way. Really appreciate Mr Koji's help to get the comics. He may seem to be quiet but he is really hardworking and helpful to a great extent.

I believe there will be constant improvements to make 123 Guesthouse a more comfortable place for longer stay with washing machine available for guests or female only shower rooms or level for women. The noise from the surroundings may not be suitable for light sleepers. Technically I could hear "waterfall" from my room but it did not bother me much though.

The location is great! It’s only 10 minutes by foot to Dotonburi and there’s a subway station right next to the Hostel (not included in JR). If you want to wash your clothes, there’s a laundry mart just about 7-10mins away from the hostel. Furthermore, despite it being a hostel all the facilities were very clean and you can use a few utensils as well (no actual kitchen).

The only thing you have to be aware of is that the size of the rooms is really small. I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s something bad, but just something that you might need to know in advance since the rooms look a lot bigger in the pictures online(at least to me). So if you travel with big luggage like we did you just need to manage who gets to open their suitcases first and that’ll do the trick.

The location was very convenient - right beside nippombashi subway station, walking distance to namba subway station and JR Namba. Walking distance to Dotonbori. The place has all the things you need. There was a nearby coin laundry that has reasonable price.

They will only give you one towel, if you need replacement you have to pay for 100yen per towel. The towel was pretty thin so it can dry easily.

The location is very convenient as it is close to the train station. Some places we wanted to go were within walking distance, such as Kuromon, Dotonbori, Nipponbashi, etc.

Great Location and value for money. Its a budget property right in the a entertainment district loads of bars, shops and cafes but very quiet for sleeping. Its very well organised and I never had any problems accessing the shared toilets and bathrooms which where always clean. Its a 2minutes walk from a subway stop and 10 minutes walk from the canal and main entertainment area

Location is great! There are 2 lines of train within walking distance. The facilities are nice and clean, the staff are helpful and friendly. There are free snacks on the 3rd floor too.

Location fab…. Very close to subway and all the lively goings on in Osaka short 15 min walk from iconic running man. Host very friendly and helpful. Kettle available in tiny shared kitchen .. room was small just enough room for bed but was only sleeping there so was fine

Central, very nice owner. Really cool and efficient outline of the Guesthouse. Extremely good value for the price paid. Would most likely visit again.

Given the extremely good value for the price I can’t really find anything to dislike about the place.

Very good location. A coin laundry just a stone throw away. Few minutes walk to shinsaibashi and all other tourist hotspots.

Poor soundproofing, can be disturbed by other guests who are not considerate.

A convenient place close to Nipponbashi, Dondoburi and the Nankai Namba station etc. The friendly host speaks English fluently and provides great advice about spots and restaurants.

One male toilet on the same floor shared by several rooms can be pretty busy in the morning.
