Hard to properly close the curtains to get privacy; curtains were not large enough. Very annoying to see the guy laying in his bed for hours half naked on the other side of the window!!!. It's not soundproof as advertised. We could hear other loud people in another room

I don't think paying at $30 per night for parking makes a lot of sense to me. Should definitely lower this price.

My room was perfect for a 2 week stay with a view of the bustling Saint Catherine Street

The housekeeping crew just stopped cleaning my room 3 days before my checkout, not sure why

We had a large room with two queen beds and we slept very well there. The cleaning staff did a good job each day. The location is very good and you can walk or metro around Montreal very easily. Rue Sainte Catherine is a great location if you like music and a bohemian atmosphere. The complimentary tea, coffee and cold water and chocolates in the reception area were much appreciated.

There was a bit of noise from the street that bothered my husband (a light sleeper). I slept through most of it. Breakfast is available in a next-door restaurant where you order a plate off a limited menu (not a typical hotel buffet and no gluten-free options, which made it useless for me).

Perfect Location close to Metro Station & China Town / Old Town. Best Western Plus Hotel is located in Saint Katherine Street East, and you can walk down to the west beautiful for shopping. ( Montreal is a highly recommended place to visit ) 24-hour fresh water and coffee are available free at the front. Front office guy Yash 👦 from Gujrat India was very kind and helpful. Helped us with the best locations to visit in Montreal City. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. Please note that Montreal Canada is to be visited from June to September only. Nothing to complain

The room was nicely appointed and comfortable; the window even opened a little bit. It was a good location for walking with easy access to restaurants, the metro and the university. The restaurant attached to the hotel was closed, but there were good coffee shops and restaurants in the immediate area.

The location was problematic for driving. It was very difficult to get to the hotel because of one way streets and detours. The entrance is right at the sidewalk, so if you are paying the extra for parking, you have to pull up along the sidewalk, remove all your belongings and hand over your keys for valet parking. This is probably a good idea, given parking problems during what is locally called "the red cone festival" in Montreal.

Spotless room. Comfortable bed. Efficient and friendly staff. They accommodated my early check in request which I greatly appreciated. Included breakfast at the restaurant adjacent to the hotel, DaGiovanni, was a true bonus and the server was great. This part of the city is convenient, a bit rough around the edges, but safe enough and although my room faced the street, it was quiet. Overall, very good value. BTW, two excellent restaurants close by on St. Laurent are definitely worth a visit - Bouillon BILK and Cadet - the food and service are top notch. Reservations recommended.

We arrived after a flight cancellation. Very tired. The concierge was very welcoming and understanding. The breakfast was very good. There is a discount for guests in the neighbouring Pizza restaurant. The concierge in the morning was also very helpful and friendly. My wife had left her jacket in the room after checkout. They returned it immediately. No problem. They also took good care of our luggage in the store room. I was so impressed with the service given to us at Best Western that I intend to use them again on my travels.

I loved this hotel. It is centrally located, on St. Catherine E, a vibrant avenue in the heart of downtown Montreal. Closer to UQM and other universities, Chinatown, Old Montreal. Plenty of eateries nearby & convenient transport. Staff are bilingual, friendly and helpful. They answered the phone when i was at the airport and made sure the room was ready for my arrival (made it there around 11 / 11.30 PM). The room was convenient, clean, quiet, and well sized for 1 person actually -- it has TV, mini fridge & iron. Room temperature was ok, and easily adjustable between hot and cold. Free coffee machine. Although the snacks were 2 dollars each, but they were still convenient for someone arriving late from an international airport. The price was ok

I would have loved to have free breakfast included in the price, but that's not even a complaint, considering that the price was really good for the location. Plenty of food options nearby. My room had a large window that allowed for sunlight, but it was not facing the street -- I could see both corridors of the hotel from my room. It didn't bother me, and the great curtains were good to give privacy and actually a great sleep, as it was really calm. But this could be bothersome to those who need sunlight and a good view.

great area to stay in, great price! the area was fantastic and a lot of fun to walk around. almost all the nicest attractions were within around a 20-40min walk away and anything that wasn't super walkable was easily accessible by the nearby subway station.

wish they had proper shampoo and conditioner bottles although i do understand why they were the standard sample sizes. overall it wasn't bad (did wish they took out the garbage without any input on our part)
