Room was good and outside areas and pools well kept and beautiful.

Valet parking only option. No breakfast included in the room price making this an expensive option

Facilities are great. Pool and garden are all very good. Apparently there is a beautiful beach but you cannot swim ( not the hotel's fault - it is for protecting the mangrove ecosystem)

Not sure if the staff were truly engaging... the 3 valet guys assumed for a long time like we were not there... then the only person at the check in was on the phone with another customer discussing charges and we waited staring at each other for a few minutes. Then her colleague came in and did some stuff on the computer for a few minutes in total silence ... I kept wondering whether there will be any verbal exchanges or any signs or smiles meaning like " we will be with you in a few minutes"... weird situation... than the second person out of nowhere decided to come to life and checked us in. Same goes for the other staff working in the pool or doing the cleaning etc... they simply assume invisibility... we simply could not feel welcome.

Everything was awesome except for the last night

When we got in the room at night there were 7 roaches all over the room. They will hide but go thru the walls and I barely sleep thinking they will get in the bed

The room was spacious and was adjacent to a 'beach' area. There are loungers and hammocks everywhere. They are quiet and plentiful. This was my favorite part of my stay. There are 4 pool areas, but each pool is fairly small. Some are heated and that was very nice on a moderately cool February day. We really were happy in the hotel, which is quite pretty, and we were able to book activities through the hotel. We loved the fact that there is a decent mall across the street with good options for breakfast and lunch.

We arrived early in the day and our room was not ready. We were dressed in warm winter clothing. There was no place to change other than a bathroom that was in fairly constant use. We were promised someone would call us when our room was ready. That never happened. After we went across the street to the strip mall and got lunch, we returned and were told that our room was indeed ready. A call would have been nice. The gym is not great. We got a temporary membership at the gym in the strip mall. The pools were crowded and small but I managed to swim laps.

This resort is beautiful. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and modern. The grounds are gorgeous and lush with 4 pools. The staff is attentive and helpful. This is definitely a place to relax and reset. Lots of pet action too... Several super friendly cats roam along with roosters, lizards and a few raccoons.

Location is away from many of the reasons to visit the island. They do have a free shuttle though that runs to the beach or popular Duval Street where the excitement is. Parking your car is another $23 per night plus it's valet only. Also just as an FYI, bring some extra cash to tip as in addition to the standard room maid tip you will need it for valet each time you get car, room attendant/steward who will bring your bags to your room, poolside server, concierge when arranging excursion or shuttle and also to tip shuttle driver.

The view from our room 37B was just amazing. Staff was very friendly. Lots of towels, L'Occitanne shampoos etc. Living room, refrigerator, minibar all were great. Concierge Shaun was great. The beach area was very calming. The balcony was great.

I did not like the noise of the heat pumps while walking in the facility. I wonder what could be done about that. The pool water was too warm but this must be typical for Key West. I did not like the shuttle hour, it stopped when we really needed to go downtown. I wish there were couple more in the evening. The food at the restaurant was mediocre.

Property was beautifully situated looking out to the bay. Well kept and clean. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food at The Grove was quite tasty.

Reserved a ‘beachfront king’ room however, there actually is no “beach” at the property. It has but a small man made sand covered area that is entirely blocked from the water by a fence and then dense mangrove shrubbery. In fact, you can’t even see the water from the “beach”. Though the food at The Grove was good, it was overpriced and the menu selection was quite limited.

Very nice feel and look. Quiet at night and friendly faces. Good concierge in Shawn (even though he is probably employed/representing another company in sunset watersports. ) great view from the room.

No cutlery and plates in the rooms. Rooms were not cleaned. After two days we had to ask and then it was making the bed and filling up towels. Never vacuumed. And at the checkout it was a shrug and “we’ll let the cleaners know” . After paying quite a bit for a few days not the apathy i expected. 0 points on the cleaning and need some work from the management.

The majority of the staff exhibited exceptional friendliness and helpfulness throughout, particularly Shawn, the attentive concierge, and Katherine, hailing from Columbia, who served at the Groove bar and exuded a captivating aura reminiscent of a goddess. She deserved every bit of her tip and more.

Like any enterprise, occasional challenges can arise in any business. With the exception of some routine pressure washing on the main drive and walkways, everything operated seamlessly, ensuring an overall enjoyable experience..
