The place is very posh and cosy. Also it is peaceful and good for relaxing. All the staff are welcoming and helpful I would like to thank Mrs Fidou She made my stay easier and more welcoming I like the Spa , the swimming pool, the jacuzzi and the sitting areas in the garden. I also want to thank the guy who is responsible for the house keeping he was very polite and helpful. I had 2 Yoga classes which was amazing with Mr Mark. He answered all my questions about the Yoga. I also want to thank the lady in the spa , she was kind and helpful. If I come back to England , I would defiantly stay there again.

1)I would prefer if they had bottled water in the room. 2)The gym I could not use because it was very small and almost always busy I did not like the way we access it because you need to go throw the spa 3) i wish if they have more varieties of food in the restaurant. If they could add more international or Mediterranean food. I would also like to suggest if they add Halal food and meet to the restaurant.

We had a 5 night stay at The Berystede and we had a really good stay. Matthew on reception looked after us well after a blip with the first room. He was also knowledgeable regarding the local area ie restaurants, shops etc. Our room was comfortable and clean. Towels and bedding looked to have been changed most days. Tea, coffee and biscuits daily. There are water dispensers around the hotel to fill the jugs in the rooms. There is a fridge and a safe. Wi-Fi was very good. We were blessed with 5 days of sunshine and we have made the most of it, sitting on the sun loungers each day and using the pool to cool down. Just needed a drink bought to us and that would have been great! In actual fact as we were leaving the pool area on our last day, they were setting up a bar to be doing just that! Too late for us though! The Spa is used by non residents and is obviously popular. The girls and boys at the Spa work very hard and are very welcoming even if you’re not there for treatments. Fresh towels and a coffee machine are a bonus. We ate in the restaurant two nights out of five. The first time I chose fish & chips which were okay but my husband was disappointed with his beef & ale pie, which wasn’t a pie at all. It was meat and vegetables in lots of gravy with a loose puff pastry lid. However, the second time we ate there was very good. We both chose different steaks and they were tender and cooked exactly as we ordered them. The waiting staff are attentive, efficient and friendly. Ascot, Windsor and Bracknell are all a short drive away.

Mugs instead of small cups!

The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The deluxe twin rooms were comfortable. The bathroom was quite large and well designed with a bath and separate shower tray. The restaurant was clean and there was a nice selection of food for breakfast, including freshly cooked pastries. The swimming and spa area is excellent. The spa had a 2 steam rooms and two sauna's. The weather during my stay, was very warm so we managed to spend time outside in the gardens, sitting on the deckchairs, beside the outdoor swimming pool. All in all it was a lovely stay.

It was a very long walk from reception to the bedroom. Room 211, was quite dark and there was no bedside lamp next to the left hand side bed. The pull rings to open the cupboard door for access to the fridge was missing making it difficult to open the cupboard door and get to the fridge. There was no hair conditioner or body lotion in the bedroom

The hotel was absolutely stunning. We ate in the bar and the food was lovely. A main meal ranged from £15-£35. Staff were 100% welcoming and friendly. Rooms were spotless. We had "user error" on our coffee machine and when we reported it, a member of staff were with us within 5 minutes and couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was one of the best I have had. Really fresh and even though it was a buffet, it was hot and plentiful. Would recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely be staying again. Spa was very clean, towels provided. Lots of rooms to use that are adults only and staff on reception were very welcoming

Lots of children in the pool which we were not expecting. Being Mums we didn't mind at all, just didn't expect it. Lots of young families around the pool (suspect it was because it was raining) but it meant no loungers were free for us to use which was a shame as we wanted to chill and read. When we finally managed to get one, we spent two hours being splashed by the young children playing ball in the pool. Again, lovely that children were having fun but we just didn't realise it was a family pool. Children are not allowed in the outdoor pool.

Dinner at the Acanthus was excellent. Check in requests were fulfilled. What made it really impressive was how in such a large and busy hotel the reception staff knew who we were and why we were there - very personal service. Final touch is that they have installed water fountains and supply a jug in the room with glasses. So good for the environment too. Oh yes - and Elemis products!

The breakfast buffet is OK but not great. Would love to have the option of 'made to order'. I just won't eat hot food that other people have been breathing over, if only for a few seconds while they lift the lid.

Love the location for Ascot Race Course. Lovely setting, great outside area, bar and restaurant. Good Spa, particularly like the outside thermal pool. Staff were lovely and service very good this year. The people running the shuttle to the course, brilliant and organised!

Price!!! Only there for the late evening! Given the price is more than double during Royal Ascot week, the extras from pre Covid have not returned such as amenities in the toilets and Ascot gift, it was a lovely touch. We particularly miss the evening bands. Room though clean and comfortable, worn paintwork and furnishings.

Visually beautiful hotel (there was an artist outside, painting an image of it as we arrived) with lovely grounds where you can lounge around outside in deck chairs on sunny days. The main entrance opens onto a plush, welcoming reception area. There is plentiful parking and gated security. Good spa facilities, free for guests, with friendly, helpful staff.

The hotel is massively extended out the back; the walk to our room was long; very long! It was by no means clear how we were to access the spa facilities, or in what direction the entrance was. A separate, fully informative brochure would help! We didn't book breakfast as we had to be at the film studio very early, so information of breakfast times, at booking, would help (or a self-serve continental breakfast bar for early risers; I know we're not the only ones who use the Beresford for this purpose).

We recently spent 3 nights at Macdonald Berystede Hotel & Spa for our wedding anniversary and I can say the hotel exceeded our expectations. We informed the hotel prior to our check-in date that the trip was to celebrate our anniversary for the first time in 9 years and we wanted to make it a memorable time. On arrival, we were informed by staff that our room had been upgraded (omggggggg)!!!! The room was super amazing!! It was very clean and tidy, nothing looked worn out. We enjoyed the hydro pool (our favourite), saunas and even had a spa treatment (this isn't free). Out whole experience was very memorable. Would definitely recommend and we'll be revisiting with the kids.

I genuinely have no complaints. Can't fault anything

Every member of the back of house staff were so super helpful, huge smile on their face and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast buffet was absolutely faultless with the best hotel toaster I’ve ever used. My family went for a swim, the whole place was clean, beautifully laid out and oozed relaxation. I didn’t want to check out

The family swim times didn’t give us much time to use the facilities as much as we hoped, because of breakfast taking so long, sorting the children out and trying to find it. The decorations within our bathroom were a bit sloppy and unfortunately didn’t match the high quality of the rest of the place. Paint flaking, tap was difficult to use for the kids and side bath panel looked like an after thought. The front of house receptionist, he came across the least friendly. Which surprised me considering how friendly everyone else was. Maybe he was having a bad couple of days, he was very helpful but his manor needs improvement.

Everything was spotlessly clean, with excellent facilities in the room - fridge, tea making, coffee machine, iron etc etc. Loved the chilled water taps in the corridor, and having access to the pool and spa, and the breakfast was also excellent. All members of staff that we met were helpful, polite and welcoming. Thank you for a lovely stay - it was a real treat!

Our only complaint would be about the heat in our room. Despite the aircon it was uncomfortably hot, which made it hard to sleep. And for some reason the towel rail in the bathroom was on full blast, which seemed unnecessary given the time of year and hot weather
