super love the ambience!

the parking spot is very hard to get :( wish that the hotel at least would reserve some parking space for the customers if possible because for us who travel a long way from perak and very tired once arrived but struggle to find a parking spot

Beautiful heritage building in a fabulous location, with the river behind and a short walk to all the sights. Many tasty cafes and restaurants nearby, including next door, across the street. Very large room with a large bathroom and a very comfortable bed. We chose a premium room that was at the front upstairs with many large windows, allowing lots of light with curtains pulled back. Easy location for Grab or taxi drop-off and pick-up. Pleasant helpful reception staff.

Stairs, as are expected in a heritage property, to carry luggage up. Carpet in our room, which I do not like. Sadly, the small but very private pool is no longer operational. However, the area may be turned into a garden terrace area, which would be lovely as it looks over the river.

Super clean and clean look with Chinese theme throughout. Rooms are spacious and breakfast was simple and good. Location is the best. Just beside malacca river and has back door entrance to riverside. 2min walk to jonker walk and nearby main attractions. Parking lots of about 5 available on first come first serve.

Was difficult to get shower in warm water. It came either too hot or cold. Difficult to control. Hard to stop car to unload luggage and passenger for checkin as the road infront of hotel is super busy and narrow road and will create a traffic if u stop to alight.

The Peranakan decor in the lobby is not only historically, culturally significant but aesthetically pleasing. Rooms are of adequate size for a couple on a short stay. Bed is very comfortable and provided me with a restful sleep. Fast WiFi speed. Strategic location, within walking distance to Malacca Riverside and other tourist attractions

The bathtub is too high for me to clamber in, just to use the shower. Suggest a small stepladder for guests to use to climb into the bathtub

The hotel ambience, of course. We'd just visited one of the old Chinese houses and then when we did the check-in, we realised the hotel looked so much like that historical place. The second thing we liked was the location - just a 5-6 min walk to the river and all the key sights. Very convenient.

The room itself was a bit small and basic, but as we stayed only for 1 night, it really didn't matter that much for us.

Breakfast was complimentary, so that's great! The building itself was very impressive, as it was one of the local peranakan buildings, so seeing it upclose was a privilege. Other then that, the room was spacious and bed comfy. Water temperature in the shower was a little wavy, but nothing unbearable. Overall a great stay.

It seems like the building itself is in need of some renovations, as there are cracks in the walls and stuff not working properly. Nothing unmanageable though.

Great location, walking distance to major locations in the old town. Free arking is available but number of slots are quite limited, there is also paid parking available nearby if the free parking is full.

The room is not sound proof well, we can hear the sound of vehicles passing by clearly for the room on road side. We can also hear guests talking in common areas of the hotel from our room. Breakfast is not worth if you have to pay for it, better go out and enjoy breakfast at Kopi Tiam nearby with more authentic foods.

The room was cosy, clean and spacious. There was complimentary bike rental and breakfast which I was unaware of during book. Hotel is of walking distance to the main attractions with a place for massage just opposite. Staffs were really attentive to my needs and they even allow me for an 1hr early check-in. Would definitely recommend.

I did not experience anything unpleasant during my trip. It will be good if the swimming pool is open though.

The bed was comfortable and the room are clean (booked 3 rooms). The breakfast was simple with sufficient options yet still taste delicious. Staff at the restaurant was friendly too. Plus, the location is near Jonker Street and other main attractions in the city. I can park the car at the parking area (pay parking) next to the hotel building and walk around the city to avoid traffic.

I hope the check in process can be improve and the front desk staff can be friendlier.

This hotel is amazing it is in a great location. Close to Jonker Walk which has markets on Friday and Saturday night. There is a great local food hall right next door which was good value. Spa over the road which offered amazing massages. Our room was spacious and so clean and very cool. Breakfast limited choices but all we needed and cooked fresh as we placed our order.

Nothing it was excellent.
