The staff is super friendly! I wasn't able to book a bus ticket online and they got one for me instead. Location is perfect for short stay in Melaka, right in the heart of China Town, next to all the must see highlights. Laundry service is only 5MYR and there's a rooftop with a nice view of the China Town.

For the price I cannot complain. The guesthouse is part of UNESCO protected buildings so yeah not the most modern design and facilities. Also mind that theres no AC, however fans do the work. I enjoyed my 2 nights here.

Beautiful traditional pernakan house. Ambient surrounding. Excellent location as close proximity to Jonkor street. Value for money. Easy accesible. If you are a vegetarian, you can get vegetarian food nearby within walking distance. Eg, vegetarian mee hoon from kappan house restaurant which is only a few shops away. There is also cake cafe (opposite the voyage home & guesthouse ) to chill out . Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room is clean and spacious.

Common toilets. I prefer to have personal bath room due hygiene reasons. There were mosquito in the room and my son was bitten.

Great location right in the centre of malacca. The owner gave us some good restaurant recommendations and even took us along with him and a few people to a local festival going on in the Portuguese area which was really fun to experience. The place had free drinking water, although just an FYI it was a lot colder from near the main reception. Great to have the large chill out areas in both the Voyage building and by the main reception.

Just an FYI if you plan to get an early bus into Malacca the reception only seemed to be open from about 8am, this wasn't an issue for us in the end as someone did let us in to drop our bags off but otherwise you might need to find somewhere else to leave your bags. Also the wifi didn't really work in the bedroom but worked perfectly everywhere else. Only very minor points, overall we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

the Location is perfect, you have the most beautiful area around you! i slept in the dorm and I love the way how it is, you have a lot of private there, but they also have nice places where you can chill together, hangout, play billiards, read books, play some games. And they have free coffee and tea all day 😎 the stuff is also very friendly!

don’t bring food in the Dorm!!! otherwise you will have rats.. 😅 the Location is perfect, but at the weekend from the evening until 11pm they have quit loud music on the street!

Very friendly staff, they helped me with everything I needed and even let me print my documents for free. They have free coffee and tea. The rooms are simple but good value for money and nice atmosphere. I liked the decorations of the hostel in boho style. They also have many books you can read and the location was perfect.

The toilets of the dorm are not the best. Also, the dorm room is overlooking a central street so it can be quite noisy at night, especially on weekends.

I went twice to the Hostel and definetly would come back. It's a place where you feel like home. All the staff is really helpful and even other recurrent tourist and friends of the place trend to gather at the place and make you feel like one of them, helping with your staying, travel tips and cultural interchange. They have instruments, TV, books, pool and ping pong for free so you will never be bored. The location is excellent to walk around the city and they even have a really nice equipped kitchen to use. I really recommend going there and you will find a second home in Malacca

The minute I stepped foot into Voyage I felt such a connection to the place I can't even explain... The location, the facilities and my accommodation were great but that didn't even matter! What made me feel really blessed was the staff!!! I've never met so many great people during my travels as in this community!!! Not only they made me feel welcome but also, and most importantly, they allow me to be part of their community and embraced me as part of their family!!! What a privilege to have had the chance of meeting such good heart people in the beginning of my journey in Malaysia 🇲🇾 If you ever visit Malacca, this quirky place, so we'll decorated with some pieces of furniture made by local artists, is the place to go to... I promise you will not regret it for a second!!! They are always concerned about your well-being and, in the evenings, you have the chance to spend a very chill night with them playing live music, sharing a meal or just enjoying a pleasent conversation with these genuine people 😀 Melacca, thank you so much for having given me a new family in Malaysia 🇲🇾 Guys, thank you so much for everything! I loved everything!!!

Great location in the historic old town with everything in walking distance.nice communal area downstairs with pool table. TV and table tennis. Old colonial building with lots of character and rooftop terrace to watch the lovely sunset. I actually stopped two more nights because two days isnt enough to see everything in melaka. Highly recommended and excellent value for money with friendly staff.

Mosquitos but there's nets over the beds and no air conditioning but you get what you pay for and it is a tropical country ;-)

Wonderful guesthouse run by great people. You really feel like home. My boyfriend caught dengue fever while we were there and everybody was so nice with us, they took us to doctor, bought my boyfriend coconut water and fruits to help him get some energy and hydrate, he couldn't eat at all. The rooms are nice, shower is clean and the atmosphere is just so perfect. Would come again !!
