the room sound proof system. you can hear the voices from the next room. quite noisy. not enough staff during breakfast time, only three staff to serve all, and some orders need to remind them as too much for them to handle

the air con was too cold in the common areas. I had to take a jacket for the breakfast. I don’t understand why the temperature is set to such a cold level. it is not good for the people’s health and it is not good for the environment.

Housekeepibg need to lift their game. The bed needs to be vacuumed we could see hair on the mattress through the sheet. The bathroom shower heads and light fittings had dust on them. The shower fitting pulled out of the wall. The dining room is looking old and tired. Afternoon tea was definitely below standard for the money asked for it. If you are going to offer a unique experience then it needs to knock your socks off. The hotel just doesn’t match up to some of other small luxury hotels, its hype not reflected in reality. I’d suggest after the owners finish painting the outside that they invest in a critical refresh internally.

awesome hotel, love the design of the hotel, staff was very friendly and helpful. We request for baby bathtub and baby cot, and they provide with no hassle. room was beautiful, the location was great, the bed was big and spacious, the bed was super comfy and the pillows thickness was just nice. definitely will come back again.

no room service, as we reach de hotel was very late but there's no room service provided as confirmed with reception so end up we sleep in hunger as we cant go out with baby at night. kind of disappointed. Swimming pool was small but i think due to the limitations of space, no kids pool either. spa need to call 1 day in advance for booking, so end up did not try on their spa.

This hotel consists of a front building that was the original mansion, and a larger, newer building behind it where the rooms are located; it has a pool and work-out room, and the Spa was open while I was there, but I didn’t use it. The original building has the charm of the olden days and is well-designed with two little tea-room/library and a small bar. All oozing great atmosphere. The room had a great bed, a nice lounging sofa and a very comfortable chair. The bath was amazing (and that comes from someone who prefers a shower) and the whole feel was very comfortable, with a view on the little river curling itself in front of the place with little river cruise boats going back and forth. The breakfast was a-ma-zing and if only their coffee was better, this breakfast would’ve been absolutely perfect. It was not a buffet but cooked after ordering. The staff were very kind and helpful. When my internet was not working, they offered premium for free, but to be honest, in a place like this, premium internet should always be offered for free. Walking to the main attractions in Melaka took about 15 mins, passing all kinds of shops to keep you interested, so I could easily go in and out of the centre twice a day. Jonker street is very busy and touristy while I was there, and if you want to eat in any of the recommended places, be ready to queue up. The hotel serves good food by the looks in the menu, and the dining/breakfast room is very elegant and inviting. There seems to be no lift up to the dining room, in case you need that.

Very well maintained " Little raffles " of Malaca , Very friendly staff and willing to do well ! Very good dinner and breakfast was superb!

Unfortunately had not booked in advance for High tea , there was plenty of space to accommodate but no food left if all understood well .... Hotel is a little far from touristy places but still walkable along the river about 30 minutes ....

ROOM WAS GOOD ,. SHOWER WAS GOOD AND WATER PRESSURE WAS EXCELLENT. BEAAKFAST WAS GREAT LOVE THE CHOICES . LOCATION WAS EASY TO MOVE AROUND WITHOUT USING THE CAR . NEAR JONKER STREET/INDIAN TOWN/ .EXCEPT FOR THE PORTUGUESE SETTLEMENT NEED TO USE THE CAR BUT IT IS NOT SO FAR.. THE SPA WAS GREAT . MY WIFE LOVED THE FACIAL AND THE COMPLIMETARY HEAD AND SHOULDER MASSAGE. THE HOTEL STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS,

BATHROOM WITH THE TUB WAS NOT OLD PEOPLE FRIENDLY, NO SUPPORT TO HOLD WHEN GETTING OUT AND CAN FALL , THE FLOOR WAS SLIPPERY WHEN WET EVEN WHEN YOU PUT ON THE BATHROOM SLIPPERS. NEED TO IMPROVE ON THIS. ALMOST LOST MY BALANCE .

Great service Thank you for the excellent explanation while escorting us to our room, with welcome tea and cake served. I was surprised that the hotel staff had already done the turn-down service when we returned from dinner. The room is cozy and well-maintained. Their spa is also unique in terms of the ingredients they've used, it matches the ritual of the history of Melaka for a new couple, recommend to go for the spa package.

The piping in the bathroom is rather loud, understand that this is not a new building, but really wish the noise could be minimal. The private car park is behind the main building, the entrance might be a bit tricky for first-timer.

Majestic Melaka is the hotel we stay regularly It's the people working at the hotel that welcomes you and make it a home for us. As we have to stay 2 or 3 night per week. We are welcome with smiles

The breakfast buffet is now not available It's by order only now. Not many option for us to choose. All the fruits option especially are no longer available. No banana, oranges , Local seasonal fruits should be display for breakfast. Pastries. It's serve at the table instead. Don't like it. I prefer to take what I want.
