I am a repeat guest... and will come back... so basically I like everything about CBTS/Frangipani Resort (except see below). The folks at the bar & restaurant are exceptionally kind and attentive.

The costs of nearly 3 thousand SGD for 5 nights... unfortunately I had to travel during LIMA. The breakfast, although well presented, lacks appeal for westerners and does not change / bear no surprises over a five day stay. As for Asian guests, the kitchen catered for indian, malasian and chinese palates, but didn't show variation either. If asked, I'm sure most guest would say that "breakfast was ok, but nothing to write home about...". A hotel should want their guest to start every vacation day happy & invigorated

Beautiful set of individual bungalows in a tropical garden, all by the beach, not too far from “city center”. The site provides one large fresh water pool and a smaller salt water one. The property is clean and maintained. We enjoyed our home (partly sea view) which was the one we did book. The bathroom would need to be upgraded at some point, while outside shower is a nice exotic plus. Water pressure is good and air conditioning works perfectly. Staff is friendly and the Manager Caroline is actively present for a chat and help you with anything. There were some comments about jellyfishes: we have not seen any during our 3 days stay (February). The place is quiet and surely fits for people looking to stay longer. The in house restaurant and bar fulfills any humble need, while the breakfast buffet could include more bread varieties. Juices have a synthetic taste, but you can can enjoy fresh fruit salad. The beach is wide and shallow, which is an advantage for those traveling with small children. There are nice soft beach chairs and shadow spots for everyone at good privacy intervals. We would certainly come back here!

Everything was perfect for us. Just a minor improvement would be to make available tea mugs for breakfast. Tiny cups only at the buffet🤔

The room was great as it was just outside the salwater pool and it came with great views of the beach. Absolutely loved the customer service and warm hospitality from the staff, especially Syafiq & Aida! Would definitely come back here for my next holiday with friends.

The room cleanliness wasn't great. Very dusty and full of rubbish under the beds although the cleaners did come and sort it out as soon as I raised it to the staff. The rooms and bathrooms could use a proper spring cleaning.

The location of the resort was awsome. The size of rooms is big. The beds are comfortable.

The maintenance is low. They gave us the family deluxe room which was at the back of resort, and the area was not maintained/ cleaned. We requested to change the room with sane category in front but it was not considered. The breakfast was very basic. The sanitary fittings are very old.

This is our 5th visit to Frangipani, a testament to how much we like it. It's a laidback place, spacious and quiet. We love the greenery and plants. The room is comfortable though nothing to shout about but that's good enough for us. Don't expect flashy, modern interior - the rooms are mostly wooden furniture. The beach has a bit more tourists now with 3 new hotels in the vicinity : Parkroyal, Riaz and something else. But mornings are still very quiet. Sealife-wise there isn't much compared to previous years- not sure if it's the season but there were no starfishes or clams. Just hermit crabs. Breakfast may not be so varied but it's so relaxing to sit at the breezy veranda overlooking the sea without people crowding and queueing here and there like in the other big hotels. We also like the "adopt a tree" project where you can pay RM100 - 200 to adopt a frangipani for a few years. We wish there was a loyalty programme for returning customers - but we understand that it must be difficult to sustain business with so many new hotels popping up. There was also the resident coordinator / artist (?) - Mr Wai who is very good with children and friendly. They had rescued a baby sunbird - which they cared for - so he had told the children how they fed and cared for the bird till adulthood.

The spa - i went for a 1 hour massage - but it was not good at all- the masseuse just pressed here and there with no pressure.

The room was large and clean, located right on the beach, with a great and peaceful view. The hotel restaurant, also beachside, had an excellent view, and a rather generous buffet breakfast. The lunch we ordered was average, though. The hotel's location is about a 10-15 minute walk from the town center, far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but not too far for shopping. The hotel staff were also very friendly and extremely helpful. Worth mentioning is that we had to catch an 8 a.m. flight on the day of our departure, and needed our breakfast packed by 6:30 a.m. Upon reaching the airport, we found the packed breakfast to be surprisingly plentiful.

The only downside is that the wifi speed was quite slow, especially when most hotel guests were back in the evening. It would be perfect if this could be improved.

The room could do with a little TLC

First I booked this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel upgraded my room category and gave me a bungalow on the first beach line. So, I decided to stay here for another 4 nights. I took a part at an event and all my colleagues lived in the town at Mercury, but I was so happy that I lived on the beach. The beach is very nice and clean. Territory is also nice. The staff is also nice. If I go to Lankgavi again, I will take the same hotel.

The furniture and plumbing are old and poorly working. The closet in the room did not close properly.

The design of the place. It is a beautiful garden with little holiday cabins situated in such a way you have a maximum privacy. It is not congested. The owner is very conscious about environment. Water is recycled via an ingenious marsh land, solare panels and use of old discarded material to build lights and furniture. Just beautiful including the lovation along a beach

There is nothing not to like if you. Hose for a place like the Frangipani. We have been. Oming back there yearly since 2008 and it is so well maintained

The staff were friendly, accommodating to all our requests. Its a nature friendly resort, right infront of the beach. The pools were great for the kids. There are many restaurants and spas outside the resort that you can walk to.
