The place was superb! It was just renovated and reopen on this year March. All the facilities still new and clean, hope can maintain it as I would like to come back again! All the service crew was professional and passionate when serving us, to be honest this is rare even in a 5 star hotel... The room is having sufficient space and comfy to fit the six of us. The bed and toilet is clean as well! An additional point, they gave us free drink vouchers for either alcohol (beer/wine) nor non-alcoholic drinks (coffee/juice).

The soundproof of the room can be improve to make it perfect. But not so noisy actually, not really a matter. Keep it up to maintain the things currently will make the place be more famous!

Really modern, new and clean hotel. We were here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast buffet was a highlight and they changed the main dishes every day which was nice. The pool is stunning and perfect for doing lengths, it’s also tapered so very shallow at one end which is great for kids and the like. We really appreciated the amount of communal seating both around the pool and in the covered lounge space - the massive TV showing National Geographic was also a great addition. From 12-10pm they have a happy hour on beer, so you can get lovely crisp cold glasses of beer for just 6.5RM each. The room itself was super comfy and had everything we needed, plus plenty of space to spread out. The staff were also really kind and friendly, they even printed stuff off for us at reception.

The location is perfect being less that 5 minute grab to the beach or a 10 minute walk. The hotel itself is clean and has been recently renovated. The rooms were lovely and the staff were unbelievable. They provide a welcome drink once you check in and my girlfriend mentioned how she liked it. When we were checking out, the kind bar man had made us a whole bottle for us take away with us! Fabulous generosity. The pool is wonderful and I like the fact there is an open field behind, makes you feel like you’re in nature. Let’s not even talk about the fact it’s 20 Ringgit for three beers! The price is great for what you get and we will definitely be back if we ever visit Langkawi again.

I liked that the staff were very warm and accomodating to all the guests. En Khairul if i remembered correctly, would always greet us n had small talks with us from time to time during breakfast. He made sure we were comfortable. Besides that, the rest of the crew were all smiles and polite. Cafe and hotel was always clean and tidy. Queen Superior room was spacious and comfortable.

It is an open concept. From lobby entrance,you can see and access the swimming pool. A bit too open for my personal preference but that is all. The rest is good.

I am a light sleeper, but even so, you can hear everything! From the neighbor, people walking in the corridors. Bring ear plugs! The staff could be a bit more observant during breakfast. There was usually something missing like milk, juice, etc. We had to ask for something every day. It's not a big thing, but something you don't want to spend extra time doing when you are on holiday.

The neatness of the property and its facilities! Well done, Bayou - the place was cozy and relaxing. The picturesque view of the mountains from the pool was a plus! The staff too were all very welcoming, accommodating, kind and very polite. They were all very helpful to us and answered our questions and provided good recommendations. I also like the breakfast, although not too many options but there’s healthy bread and egg counter. We loved our stay and will be back soon. Will surely recommend as well!

I ran into some issues while staying at Rebak, and needed to book a hotel last minute. The staff at the Bayou Hotel were honest and exceptional compared to some of the experiences I had speaking with other hotels during this period of stress. We ended up checking in quite late, past 2:00 am, and there was no hassle. The staff was very kind and accommodating, and the room was beautiful. I highly recommend, for the honest staff, beautiful room, and wonderful location!
