Very tidy, clean and spacious room and huge comfortable bed and pillows. Large bathroom too as we ended up with the room normally reserved for disabled people. Very handy to the town centre as well. Even had a proper coffee machine with coffee pods.

There was no tea available other than green tea. Shampoo and body wash lotions were in small sachets and a bit hard to open and use. Plus we forgot it was next to the railroad that goes straight through town which meant a couple of cargo trains coming through the night unfortunately. However these are only small issues as overall it was excellent.

This place was very accommodating. Staff was very friendly and kind. Our room was everything that we expected, nice, clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this place! The garden was also very cute, it made every morning so pleasant to wake up to.

There is nothing to not like. However, just a small FYI about the shower amenities, please do make sure that you either ask for more from the reception or bring your own as there wont be enough in the room, but other than that it was no drama. it’s about sustainability after all.

Very clean motel unit, close to the town centre. Theres plenty of free parking at the property which was good. Bathroom was spacious with good shower pressure. The kitchenette was suitable to make a meal which we appreciated.

We booked for 2 adults and 2 kids, however due to an unfortunate change of circumstances one child was unable to travel with us. However the receptionist was adamant on check in that we still had to pay for 2 children, which I found a little inflexible. The property is very close to the railway line so its noisy when trains go through, if you are a light sleeper this could be problematic.

Incredibly helpful, friendly staff who went out of their way to look after me and a friend that I had checked in. They even made sure we had the phone number for the local taxi and moved my friend to a more accessible room at no charge. My bed was super comfortable and my room looked out onto the lovely garden, set back from the road. Room was lovely and clean, with toiletries and nice tea and coffee options as well. Shower had good pressure too. I highly recommend Taylors and look forward to staying there whenever I'm in Ashburton.

Loved the rooms, very fresh and modern. Good double glazing, great heating. Lovely decor. Close to town shops.

Gentleman a little gruff when we arrived early. Said we should have called ahead to let them know. We had no concerns if the room wasn't ready as we were happy to go talk to our aunt who was also staying there and come back at checkout time si he didn't need to make the comment at all. We had no expectations to break protocol. We put it down to a rough day. The rest of the service was great and we'd highly recommend staying here.

Lush new rooms which are a good size with a very comfortable bed and TV with Netflix. It was also the little things such as hot chocolate, fresh milk and cold water in the fridge which made it extra good. The lady at reception was super friendly and accommodating. We had a unit at the back so it was like we had our own wee garden a d was away from the road. If only all motels were like this!

The only bad thing I can say was about the people upstairs being super loud banging every cupboard and drawer early in the morning - but that is not the motels fault just the people!

Booked the wrong size room and was upgraded upon request, very appreciative of that. Size of TV and ability to cast to it was great. Comfy big bed and kitchenette had what we needed. Location was close to where our family were campervanning. Lovely garden and outdoor area with BBQ for all to use. Owners friendly and always had a smile and greeting for us.

The truth is, I ended up in hospital and had emergency surgery so I didn't get the pleasure of staying at Taylor's. But I have given them a well deserved 10 because my booking was cancelled at short notice to my arrival, and they so kindly took my difficult circumstances into consideration. I fully intend to treat myself to a night at their motel in the very near future ❤️

Kay, the owner is an excellent host, and has strong relationships within Ashburton (good recommendations for restaurants, with discounted rates applicable). Clean, comfortable rooms, with good products in the selection of toiletries, and drinks. Very convenient location for our specified business in Ashburton.

Our own communication before we turned up. Would have made it a lot easier for Kay to accommodate our large vehicle.

Clean and modern studio spa unit with a very comfortable bed, a couch, smart TV and kitchenette with all the amenities you need. Decent size glasses and mugs and a coffee machine were a surprise! The owners are friendly and helpful and while the motel is near a main road and rail track, it was pretty quiet with all the windows and doors closed. The air conditioning/heating made it very comfortable. I would definitely stay again.
