Location, Comfortable Bed (although our king bed was simply 2 beds put together - did not like this), Amazing Shower.

Our king bed was simply 2 beds put together - did not like this as we are a couple we do sleep in the middle. Staff did not say welcome or made feel welcome. They were not rude, they were just not as friendly as other hotels we have been to. This could definitely be improved.

Fantastic location - it's central and moments away from the Wharf or Lambton Quay. It was also close to Mt Victoria so we were able to squeeze in a hike before dinner. The team were friendly and approachable. The room was very comfortable and I enjoyed the view towards the Brooklyn Wind Farm. There was plenty of space and the Wifi overall reliable. There were plenty of nooks to work in around the hotel too, great for a wanderer like me!

The gym only had 1/3 cardio machines plugged in and was clearly a store room. I appreciated the weight set and cable machine, but it was a strange atmosphere.

The location was perfect, within walking distance to shops, the waterfront and eateries. The rooms were clean and crisp looking, they were modest yet fancy. The size of the room was great. The availability of being able to cast from your own personal device to the tv in the room. Had the buffet breakfast which was delicious and good value for money. Restaurant staff were fantastic.

The provision of dishwashing liquid, and a toilet brush and cleaner in the rooms would have helped. Lighting: more ceiling light fixtures in the internal rooms would brighten the room up more.

The staff at reception were very helpful. The restaurant staff were lovely too. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. I was staying to attend the ballet at St James Theatre which was next door so location could not have been better. Also only a short walk to Te Papa. I would definitely stay here again.

Not a criticism of the hotel but a warning. If you are travelling from the airport to this hotel do not get in a City Taxi. I was scammed by the driver who took me a long way round to the hotel. The fare was $69.84 but when I checked my bank account I had paid $140 for this short journey. The reception staff organised a taxi for my return to the airport and the fare was $34.00. Arrange the taxi with the hotel as they use Combined Taxis and the fare is capped at $38.00

Great sized room, and super comfy beds. Aircon was on in the room when we arrived which was lovely as it was a very warm day. Reception staff were friendly and efficient. Excellent location in the CBD, close to everything.

This is personal preference, but I would prefer a room where the bathroom is separated from the main living/bedroom area by proper walls and doors, not glass walls & doors with a strip of frosting. It might be trendy but I don't need to be THAT intimate with my partner! It gives no privacy when using the bathroom and you can't turn on a light in the bathroom while someone is sleeping in the bed, as the light might wake them up. Also I would have expected Sky channels to be available for the room rate charged.

This hotel had a great location to the city centre, we stayed in a spacious modern room for 2 with comfortable bedding and quiet sleep. We found upon arrival that the buffet style option for breakfast was discontinued however, we still had fantastic options to choose from on the menu and we satisfied with the quality of food served. The staff were friendly abs approachable, answering any questions or queries we had during our stay.

When we got to our room, we realised the bathroom wall was mostly translucent, adjacent to the beds. This was a bit awkward for me and my sibling and had to work around this.

Customer service was beautiful, loved the room, aircon was nice and cool, had everything you need, fridge,coffee/tea, also loved how i could chrome cast disney plus app from my phone to the tv for my daughter. I was in love with the bed it was super soft and did a late checkout at 11am for free. Nightlife went off, was able to order kfc at midnight which was cool. Will definitely stay again to experience the nightlife next time im in wellington.

Got lost finding my car in carpark. Staff should have a sign on exit to guide customers to the carpark from their room level when checking in. My car was parked on level 2 and i had to go down to reception to walk up stairs to look for it carrying a baby and bags.

See through bathroom. Carpark was too small for our car we almost got stuck at 6am in the morning we would of missed out ferry. Luckily my husband managed to manoeuvre backwards and around but the car next to us had locked us in because the park was too small for our car - staff should be more aware of what park they are providing as the sign on ours said ‘for a small car’ our car is a suv and this was told to them. Other than that we were grateful to have a park that was only $20 and the staff were helpful.

Very comfortable large beds. Lovely bathroom facilities. Was a nice view despite being in the city

The parking is incredibly difficult to find and it’s extremely tight, a large vehicle would not fit at all. On arrival the staff at front desk were not as friendly, and when I was trying to check in one of the girl’s said she was too busy on her computers to check me it, yet she stood beside the other girl on front desk as she checked me in. The TV wouldn’t connect to Netflix for us and the internet code in our room didn’t work so we had to get guest codes from front desk The restaurant was closed on the night we stayed and so we had to source food externally after a big days travel. There was no way to turn off the swipe card entry to the rooms and so our kids locked themselves out a number of times as they’d forgotten their swap card on exiting the room to come through to us

Close proximity to eateries, shops, activities, the airport and highway. The restaurant was spacious, convenient and provided a great selection for breakfast.

I shared a room with my son, as requested they provided two single beds, my son is tall and a King single would have been better however was not an option. We had no idea the shower was see through (the privacy glass was not private enough) therefore had to face away from the shower when the other person showered for privacy. A blind or curtain on the outside would solve this issue for families. Water should be provided to fill the jug for a hot beverage as there was no sink other than the bathroom sink. The parking on site is tight, fortunately I swapped vehicles with my son.
