Great location if your keen to eat out. Everything is in walking distance. Surprisingly quiet. The construction next door was fine and within council regs. Everything was clean with comfy beds. Kitchen is well enough equipped. Really nice to have full windows that open with the sun streaming in in the evening, very nice. Overall a great stay and we will be booking again.

The access is a bit tricky once through the door because the lift wouldnt stop on the floor we wanted and didnt light up. We just had to travel up and down before landing on 2nd floor. Once settled we used the back entrance which was convenient (as we were apartment 6) but couldnt get back in after 10pm but nothing in the comms stating that. No biggy. The skylight in the bedroom didnt shut out light (it was broken) so it was really bright (and annoying) in the morning when we wanted to sleep in.

Great location can't fault it really. Kids loved being right next door to a place that sells bubble tea. So many eateries, cafes, restaurants right at your door step! A short walk to New World, Te Papa and the waterfront. Great for anyone wanting to explore the CBD, great for especially families and those who want to be close to the night life but also enjoy a quite nights sleep. The room itself is away from the hustle and bustle of the CBD noise so you don't hear anything at night. A pity that there were major works happening next door as they were very noisy during the day and the scaffolding blocked our view on the deck but to be fair we were out and about alot so didnt affect us much. A comfortable stay for us and our two children. Plenty of space for us all to move around. To good sized rooms. Loved having a dryer and washing machine. The room could do with an oven tray or oven dish so you can actually cook in the oven.

The noise of the works next door can annoy some people. We didnt mind it as we spent most of the day out and about. Parking your car to offload your bags can be tricky too and you might need to do a couple laps around the block before th loading zone becomes available for you as its a busy area of town in the afternoons/evenings.

Stayed two nights. Loved the location. It was down the street from the St James theatre which we were going to on the Saturday night. There was convenient drop off parking outside the door of Courtenay Village, plus a parking payment console/kiosk a few metres from the door when we wanted to park for a while longer. A public toilet was in the close vicinity as well, and this turned out to be a bit of a god send after a long drive, having endured the slow stop-start crawl of 5:00pm Friday traffic, when we couldn't wait to get upstairs. Also, the bus stop was right outside the door which was a perfect surprise, as part of our stay included guests getting a bus to and from the apartment. There were plenty of take aways, bakeries, cafes and bars in close proximity as well as art and craft galleries and shops near by. It was a handy location to the waterfront and good varied shopping options were close by. Because these apartments are unmanned by staff, we made no face to face contact with anyone, but the receptionist I spoke to by phone was most helpful, friendly and able to explain the check in and check out procedures in simple detail, plus carried out my request regarding how I wanted the beds made up. I was reassured that if we had any problems or concerns pre-arrival or during our stay, help was only a phone call away. The code-opening pick up box outside the door was easy and convenient to get the "keys" and apartment instructions. Having two swipe cards was handy, allowing our group to split up and do separate things without having to rely on others to gain access to and from the apartment. There are both stairs and a lift The passage way to the apartments is easy but quaint, with slopes, changes in direction and fire doors adding interest to the journey to get to the apartment.

One bedroom had a skylight with the blind/curtain on it being a bit fidly and very slow to draw closed. In one of the other bedroom's the doorstop had a screw missing, and because it was attached to the wardrobe door, when that door was opened the doorstop scraped across the carpet making a scraping sound and feeling like you would just about tear the carpet up. We could hear water running at times, wasn't sure if it was something running into the roof or a neighbouring shower? Was a little bit disconcerting. These were fairly minor complaints though.

This was our second stay and reminded us that Courtenay Village is amid the bustling Courtenay Place, full of a diverse range of dining options and a large movie theatre, a short walk from Te Papa museum and the waterfront at Wellington and only a 10 minute walk from Cuba Street and 20 mins walk from the main shopping strip. It’s near the start of the Mount Victoria walk to the lookout with tremendous views of the area. So it’s easy to get to most attractions in Wellington on foot. Courtenay Place is also serviced by many buses, including the Airport Express. Despite its proximity to so much action, the Village accommodation is very quiet in the evenings and nights. The apartments are complete with a full laundry. There’s plenty of space and comfortable beds. So it covers most of the items that visitors are looking for.

It was unfortunate that Wellington was hit by a sudden intense storm during our stay that stopped the ventilation system in the hallway. The site managers were on to this quickly but had to install an industrial fan in the hallway for a a while while repairs to the ventilation system were made. It was noisy during the night for us as we were in the nearby apartment. But we understand that this had to be done - just bad luck that mother nature struck when she did - and that the repairs were made as quickly as possible. An opportunity for improvement might be to provide a coffee plunger with or without appropriate coffee for the units.

Location was great, room was nice and warm on arrival, room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Bed was super comfortable. For the location it was very quiet considering being in the heart of Courtenay Place.

One thing comes to mind, it is well documented that there is construction happening right next and to be fair it wasn't noisy at all during our stay, however they have a security light which is super bright at night, the curtains help block it out, but it is very bright.

The upgrade we received after a minor issue was way above & beyond what we expected, and we are super grateful. We got to stay in an amazing apartment that is way above what we could ever afford to stay in & are so thankful for the experience.

The kitchen lacked a couple of things we needed (a frypan/wok & an oven tray) but these things were provided upon request so no major. The main bedroom had a glow of light around the drop down curtain during the night, being able to make the room darker would have been nice. I imagine this would require drape curtains to be installed to achieve this.

Roomy. Lovely the heaters and lights left on for us. Liked the high ceilings. Was warned about the construction work but could not hear it in our room which was wonderful. Location was great with lots of good food options and quick walk to new world. The TV was on with the app page which was a lovely touch.

The cold tap in bathroom takes effort to turn off. The mattress topper in room nearest kitchen needs replacing as flat where people sleep and puffy at centre of the bed. The shower head was facing up and towards shower door so inadvertently flooded bathroom when first turned on. Suggest it is left facing down and away from shower door for future guests.

The apartment was spacious and the beds were comfortable.

The apartments are located above a high street with a lot of takeaway places / bars / clubs, which is not indicated in the description. While this didn't cause noise as the apartment is actually a long way back from this street, we did feel a little uncomfortable getting to the entrance, particularly late at night. There is also no air conditioning in the apartment and the balcony area is surrounded by buildings, so there is not a lot of air to circulate even with the windows open.

Excellent location, close to everything, and the apartment was well equipped with dishware and other amenities. Was really nice having a washer-dryer. We were a bit worried after reading some of the other more negative reviews but our experience was mostly positive. It seems like the apartments have been recently updated and we didn't notice any issues re: funny smells or mold. We will definitely stay here again -- great arrangement for a family of 4 with the 2 separate bedrooms and a lounge.

The beds were really lumpy -- could be an issue with the mattress covers. Also it's a bit inconvenient that the main reception is located about a 15 min walk away at Boulcott Suites, so if you want to leave your bags for the day on checkout or check-in, just keep that in mind. Also our keys were only programmed for 1 night instead of the 3 night stay we booked so we got locked out of our apartment. We called over and it took about 40 min until someone came to give us new keys. But the staff were really pleasant and kind.

When I called and enquired about our hot water you were quick to act. After having it looked at and not finding a quick fix you moved us to a much nicer room, with a paid taxi at our convenience, and complimentary wine and chocolate. Thank you!! Yes. This room in Boulcott suites felt luxurious! We could even log into Netflix on the TV and watch a movie as a family. Thank you. We had lovely service and the room had everything we needed.

Initially the room we had and the hallway to it didn’t have quite the holiday feel we were expecting. (I spent a lot of time selecting based on location, photos and price). The room had high callings and was cold. It took until the afternoon of the next day to be warm with 3 oil column heaters on full. The coriander entrance to it was long and uninviting. It felt cheep.
