Great room for the price and short notice booking. Room was clean tidy and quite nice. Was able to do self check in and pay before leaving in the morning which was helpful with the late ferry time. Parking on site was also available

location is not far from the town, however getting into the accommodation is right on the corner of a really busy double lane main thoroughfare. Other than the access it's a great place to stay

Nice comfortable room and I managed to book a parking space by ringing ahead and they kept it for me. I read a few past reviews that said the staff manner wasn't great, but I actually found the person I interacted with very polite and helpful. It was quiet at night, which I was surprised about given the busy road: the bedrooms are set back from the road quite a bit.

The office hours weren't as stated on the door, but it's a minor point.

Close to venue for visit to Wellington. Within close proximity of central city, zoo, Basin Reserve and airport.

Another vehicle parked in front of the room we'd booked and then placing a roadside cone there when vacant (supposedly to prevent anyone else from parking there). Then advised that parking is a case of first in first served, so I moved the cone. Quite dangerous driving out and turning left to the traffic flow around Basin Reserve.

We were a family of 4 - with two small children. Our children slept in the lounge in single beds, while my husband and I had the bedroom. We had an upstairs unit with a small balcony and we enjoyed the elevation. The bathroom was modern and clean (with a heater) and we appreciated having our towels changed daily. We needed to use the laundry services ($5 washing machine + $5 dryer cycle) and this was very convenient to have. The motel's location was within walking distance or a short uber drive from the attractions we wanted to visit - Cuba Street, Te Papa Museum, the Cable Car and the Zoo - which was great. There seemed to be ample parking, although we didn't have a car.

There was traffic noise, but it didn't bother or disturb us. The lounge furniture consisted of 2 single beds, and a dining table with 4 chairs with a tv in one corner and a small kitchenette in the other. I did miss having a couch, but obviously due to space it wasn't possible - and it certainly wasn't a deal breaker.

I really liked the location. It was an easy walk to nearby eateries and the waterfront. The room was big enough for me & would be just fine for a couple. The bed was super comfy. The heater got the room warmed up nicely. The shower water pressure was excellent. The lighting was good, especially above the bed. I could read my book without straining my eyes. Being able to park onsite was awesome.

There's nothing I didn't like.

We were within walking distance of the Museum of New Zealand and we found the location generally very convenient. The room was warm and cosy and had been modernised to a high standard with a big radiator for the winter months. There was Sky TV for watching the 6 nations rugby matches and the whole place was warm and friendly.

Parking could be an issue for some people if it got really busy but we didnt have any issues. It is a shame continental breakfast was not included for the price.

Staff was great, room very clean, fresh towels daily and rubbish was emptying daily. Place a bit run down but was very clean anyways so was OK. The place is family orientated so was awesome. Very close to everything. Like that was a carpark we could use if needed. Reasonable price

Too close to a very busy one way road.

It was a good location. If you enjoyed walking it was about 1km to the Water front. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The staff were helpful.

The bathroom could do with updating, however it was spacious and clean so it was ok.

I have stayed once before, on both occasions in order to attend cricket test matches at the Basin reserve. Situation is perfect. Also close to the city, buses and airport. I'll come again

I stayed in room 5 (downstairs) and the walls are thin. I was woken every night by the people in room 5 chatting, coughing, going to the toilet (none of it their fault) and I believe I disturbed them as I am an early riser

The facility was very clean and well maintained. The staffs were very friendly and helpful, made us feel welcomed to the place. Location is great as the malls and restaurants are just short walks away. Great value for money and I would definitely stay there again if visiting Wellington.

The rooms are not sound proof at all therefore you can hear people talk nextdoor and upstairs. It was not an issue for us though but felt bad for others as I have very loud kids.
