Our room was beautiful - great size, balcony with a view of the pool and ocean was spectacular, bed was very comfortable! We opted for the free breakfast - lots of selection and tasty. The facilities were very nice and there are lots of restaurant options in the hotel. We had a drink at the Sky Bar but didn't eat at any of the other restaurants in the hotel. If you walk 5-8 mins from the hotel, there are lots of restaurants/bars. Access to the beach is also very close. Highly recommend hiking on the rock formation trails - you can begin right at the hotel and go all the way to the Benagil caves (and beyond).

Everything was perfect!

Overall the hotel was excellent. Great location, beautiful views from everywhere you went. the majority of the staff was very nice. I did have somewhat of an issue with the staff at the pool bar. They seemed to be fighting with each other all week. One of them was very rude to my husband. Was not allowed to keep a tab, you had to pay for every drink when you received and felt you needed to tip every time someone brought you something. I didn't like that. If that was the rule, no problem but I did feel they were very rude at the pool bar. other than that I totally loved the hotel, location, breakfast buffet was incredible, everything about it.

rooms were a bit smaller than what I am use to but we made due, it was a beautiful room with a beautiful view. My other comments about pool bar is above. We did notice however that the pool needed a good update. The tiles in the pool were falling off in our hands but I am sure the property is aware and sure it will be updated.

Breakfast is very good with lots of varieties, the staff was very friendly and helpful in the restaurant and tried their best to serve you. The sea view was fine as well. The cleaning ladies did cleaning and prepare the bed every day. There is a afternoon coffee or tea offering came to the room everyday as well. We really felt relax in the hotel.

1. There is no welcome bottle of water in the room (which I first experienced in a 5 star hotel), but there were beverages in the mini bar 2. We lived on the 4th floor and the above were restaurants. In the evening you could hear the sounds of dragging chairs/tables (probably the cleaning of the restaurants) 3. Wifi was very weak in the balcony.

the location and structure are great

The Concierge staff (Marco and Marco Louis) are right out rude and incompetent , which is unacceptable in any hotel but especially in a 5 stars. They failed us as guests and most import they failed the hotel, as they left us with a terrible taste and because of them will advise against this hotel to all our friends and family.

Perfect!!! This lovely hotel is in an incredible location with a constant and beautiful view of the ocean, trails to walk on above the cliffs and a beautiful pool overlooking the ocean with a stretch of beach below. We were very impressed by the dedication of the staff to making our stay so comfortable. Everyone, from the front desk to the dining hall, pool and fantastic spa, was so kind, professional and hard working. The room was very clean and had a beautiful view. Great shower. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and full of options. Very close to the town center. We’ll definitely come back. Was hard to leave. Thank you to Tivoli Carvoiero. . .

The staff was amazingly helpful! It was a birthday trip for my mom and when I let them know, they sent up a birthday cake and a bottle of champagne! They allowed us the chance to get our check-in started early and enjoy some time on the terrace at the bar while we waited since we were so early. The view was SPECTACULAR!

There is nothing I would change about our trip. Oh wait, it wasn’t long enough. Everything from the food to the staff to the bed was amazing. I travel for a living and spend my time in plenty of hotel rooms: Europe isn’t known for extra comfortable bedding. This location delivered on everything!

Breakfast was good with a variety of options the staff were very helpful, the view was Amazing and the room was good in size with a big balcony and a view they also have a mini golf car to take to some near locations like the center The One restaurant was Amazing the food was delicious and the staff were really welcoming

The beds were uncomfortable and the sheets needs to be renewed The water bottle was completely only for the first night They lack tourism support you have to ask for everything The housekeepers needs a training i guess they haven’t changed the sheet in my entire stay, they didn’t provide us with coffee pods for the expresso machine and one day the left the door open thank God nothing was stolen we spoke with reception they said that the housekeeper manager is on leave we didn’t want to go further with it because we didn’t want any harm for the poor housekeeper personnel

Luxury hotel with an incredible view. We stayed here for 1 week and it was simply perfect. It's just a few minutes walk from the town centre (which is great with lots of places to eat and drink). The hotel has a gorgeous Sky Bar and bar and 2 x restaurants - all with the fantastic views. We had breakfast on the terrace every morning which was an added bonus. The turn down service every night was a nice touch. No one reserves sunbeds here - there's always plenty free at any time during the day. A very relaxing holiday.

No water in the room. Had to pay €6 every day just to have water to drink.

Friendly, helpful staff in the bar, restaurants & pool area. Clean, comfortable rooms & beds. Good breakfast selection & sushi in the Sky bar was very good. Easy walking distance to nearby restaurants.

There were things lacking in the room; hooks for robes/clothes, bedside table missing on one side, vanity/dressing table/mirror in main room. The beach right by the hotel isn’t in use which was disappointing as one of the reasons I’d booked it. Corridors could do with a makeover; carpets bit grubby. Cups/glasses in room not always washed or replaced when room cleaned.

The location is exceptional, overlooking a bay surrounded by cliffs. As we are very happy on sun beds around pool or garden, we didn’t mind that the beach is quite a walk away (or regular hotel buggy). Breakfast is very good for a buffet; staff all round the hotel are very helpful, friendly and they always seem to be available. We had two stays (before and after a family villa holiday) and had a similar positive impression on both occasions. The hotel has good dining options itself but is also close to outside restaurants.

Both times we had a deluxe double with sea view. The bathrooms (particularly the first) were very small and the rooms not very big - storage space was an issue in the first room. I think there are larger premium rooms so maybe that would be better should we return. Didn’t quite understand why no turndown service on first night - we showered just the same so towels need refreshing, cups/glasses need cleaning and the bed preparing so what is different to subsequent nights? (We wee told it’s hotel policy!).
