the pool was amazing the breakfast was very good the staff was great the location was right in the center of everything. would highly recommend

only reason why this is not a 10/10 is the wifi did not work anywhere in the hotel. for travellers this could be a downside due to expensive data usage bc we couldn’t book anything off of wifi. but otherwise a great stay note: would be a fantastic hotel if they fixed the wifi situation:)

Everything truly exceeded our expectations, especially the staff, location and breakfast. The staff were always friendly and helpful and willing to help the entire stay more comfortable, efficient and convenient. The location of the hotel is a 7 minute walk to a beautiful beach. The rooms were extremely clean and the daily cleaning staff were friendly and kept everything very clean and tidy. Fresh pastries, fruit, omelettes, eggs etc were made to your liking...a great way to start each day. Gisela at the front desk made us reservations pretty much every night and each night the restaurant was delicious. Dominique took care of us every morning and it was great to speak with her each day as she was so personable. We will recommend this hotel to all of our friends and hopefully stay here again.

We loved our stay

The staff are exceptional, helpful and friendly from hotel manager, customer relations, reception through to breakfast staff, oh and the night porter was also fantastic. The location was perfect, everything was spotlessly clean. Car park was secure and easily accessible. The shower in our room was the best I have used, so powerful and lovely and hot. Lovely balcony with sea view. Thank you to everyone at the Mirachoro Carvoeiro, we cannot wait to return.

The only negative, and I do not like to say this but...our room was located near the lift area and we could hear the lift motor (sorry)

Excellent location and the hotel was very clean. Staff friendly and always with a smile. Breakfast was excellent even though the choice wasn't huge there was something for everyone. We rented a car and the hotel has plenty of parking so you never had to worry. Nice cocktails by the pool. Its a very quiet relaxing hotel absolutely perfect for couples Overall an excellent stay.

The only thing was that the pillows weren't very comfortable but that's more down to personal choice than anything else

The room was starting to look slightly dated, especially the bathroom. After paying €1142 for 6 nights I'm struggling to see the value for money for bed & breakfast. Either exchange rates gone daft, or post COVID hotel rates have gone extortionate??

The hotel was spotlessly clean, the breakfast had a good selection. Pool area was nice and communal areas well kept. The staff were very friendly to myself and my 5 month old daughter. Room as a good size as was the balcony

There was no water/tea coffee facilities in the room. Room is due an update to match the communal areas. Indoor pool area could be made more of. I didn't realise you could have towels at a deposit so had to buy a pool towel.

Pool and facilities were great! Really beautiful hotel. Also nice entertainment at the pool with a DJ and saxophone player! Pool bar was a win for us with very reasonable prices.

I asked the cleaning lady for fresh towels once, didn’t have them clean the room for 4 days. The cleaning lady was very rude and handed me 2 towels instead of 4 with a big sigh. Also when i closed the door after this i could hear her cursing about it. Rooms really need an update, but are clean!

Building work taking place just across from our balcony,, on a different site. Loud drilling and digging all afternoon

What a beautiful hotel. Perfect location, even for me with mobility issues. Restaurants, bars, store all on our doorstep. Slight slope down to the square but easily managed and many stops to rest on the way. The beach is glorious. The staff at the hotel couldn’t do enough for us. Very friendly. Food served poolside really nice, large selection and very reasonable in price. Bat open till 1.00am each day. Will be booking to return 2024.

Everything was very good....breakfast was just outstanding as were all the staff we dealt with! location excellent...taxis were easy to get and very reasonably priced i worked as a travel agent for 25 years and would rate this hotel highly Great shower and always hot water :)

Sunbeds etc at the pool were good but we felt a few chairs around the pool would have been a bonus as my husband struggled a little to sit in comfort on the sunbeds and the only seating available was in shaded areas Bedroom was maybe a little dated but very clean and comfortable beds and pillows
