The property was clean, and was regularly serviced. A quiet location which we wanted. The swimming pools were excellent. The play area equipment has been upgraded and our girls loved it. New flooring and the new slide of note. Also the tennis area had also been upgraded with new surfaces. The site seems to be being improved this year 2023. The signs were being replaced as we left. Intermarche supermarket is 5 minutes away by car which also has washing and drying facilities, which with kids is a must!! Overall we were very happy with our stay.

In the obvious ongoing work the interior, especially the beds are still needing tlc, they are hard as mentioned in many posts. This is the area that could be improved. As an aside a supply of travel cots would be beneficial. Also more general wifi across the apartments and not just around reception would be useful and of great value for those looking to be digital nomads. However an esim from Meo gives 4G+ at this location 30gb for €15 is great value which can be purchased online. A car is essential in our opinion to make best use of this location.

Apartment 1A overlooks the pool, lovely location. Staff are so friendly and helpful. So nice to have the bar beside the pool to have a late afternoon beer or cocktail. Food lovely in the restaurant. Nice family atmosphere in the complex, lots of nationalities. Apartment space comfortable, if a little dated in decor but didn't matter as little time spent inside.

Location to town is a long walk with no pavements and a lot of passing traffic. We didn't use the shuttle and found taxis and ubers very quick and efficient. No waiting time once phoned by reception.

Frankly I don't understand why this place is not liked that much. In overall I really enjoyed my stay, and for what it costs, in my opinion, it's more than worth it. It definitely exceeded my expectations. I believe it might be relatively cheap because my stay was not during the high season, but even at this time there're some places in Portugal where you can only get a bed in a hostel for this price. I felt very welcomed there, the guys at the reception were friendly, and one of them even helped me with finding the bus I needed. The hotel territory and the houses looked very nice and taken care of. The interior was also good. The rooms were clean, I really liked the spacious living room, balconies with beautiful views, a fully equipped kitchen and a bedroom with additional pillows and blankets for beds. And having a good A/C is always a nice bonus (even 2 in this case). By the way, the wifi is actually good, though it is meant to be only in the common area of the hotel (and is not in the apartments). The location is fine, it takes some time (about 20 mins) to get to a supermarket or the center on foot, but if you own a car, it's all really close.

A small suggestion for the hotel owners - providing some dish soap and a sponge could really help those, who have a short-term stay at the apartment, keep the kitchen clean 😉

Amazing property, my family (with 3 yo) enjoyed time in Colina Village: spacious apartment, fully equipped. The property wasn't crowded at the beginning of September. The indoor pool was amazing, though it could be opened earlier that 10 am. Outdoor pool is big and deep, we enjoyed this facility. The staff cleaned apartment every day. We had a car so there was no obstacles to go to supermarkets or beaches. Overall, we were worried, because the property was rated only 7,5, but it exceeded our expectations.

The indoor pool working hours, if should be working from earlier, because little kids are up early :D

Food was lovely and we loved the pool area. Really pleased with getting in the apartment before the due time.

We booked and paid on line through booking.com. Receptionist on arrival said we hadn't paid and had to pay again by debit card even though we had shown him we paid. Once we got home we realised we had been charged twice. We received payment back a couple of weeks later so the problem was resolved. They were professional in dealing with the problem and honoured there word, as a customer it was just confusing and a little annoying. Mistakes happen so Overall we loved the place and will go back.

The pool both indoor and outdoor, the villas were very nice and comfortable. Food was very good and price was good. Great staff working there, will be back again.

Maybe more tables for dinner in the evening and a look at the pool area for chipped tiles which caused a few cuts and scratches getting in and out of the pool.

The pool was fantastic!. There is also an indoor one if you want to escape the heat...The kids loved it and all the staff were so friendly. Food was lovely too at the restaurant. Around d a 2k walk into beautiful Carveoiro village. Our room was cleaned nearly every day and we were given fresh towels. I would go back again with my family.

The free shuttle bus into Carveoiro wasn't running

Very well equipped, spacious apartment and, although we didn't really use them there were good facilities onsite (restaurant, bar, pool etc). Free shuttles to the beach for those without their own transport. Very good value for money.

it was very clean, spacious & in a perfect position. the facilities were brilliant, especially the pool area. we will be returning - nothing was too much trouble for the staff £ the cleaners were fantastic

Kitchen was big, basic tools like pans, cutlery, etc. provided. The room was large, 2 ACs in total. Bathroom was large enough for 2 people, with 2 sinks. Receptionist was friendly, provided info for boat tours and other things to do in the area. Everything was clean and tidy.

WiFi receiption was bad in my room, with a few cutoffs along the way. Main door could not be locked, because the lock got stuck midway (It was still closed however and could only be opened with the key). Plugs for electricity were scarse. Dishwashing soap was not present. Things like salt, oil, etc. were also not provided.
